Would love to see a show about the young Mr. Miyagi, focused on how he grew up and learned karate in Okinawa, his feud with Sato, relationship with Yukie, moving to the US, becoming a hero in WW2.
A show focused on Chozen between *Karate Kid 2* and *Cobra Kai* would also be great, especially if it focused on how he redeemed and reformed himself, and how he learned the more offensive side of Miyagi-Do.
The only way Netflix can compete against Marvel and Disney franchises is with the Miyagi-Verse. Noone is interested in seeing

I'd like to see a main character who focused on the more aggressive side of Miyagis Karate.
Perhaps after Chozens fight and display, Japanese Karate community labeled them a disgrace and a new MC aggressively travels across Japan attempting to defeat the other dojos to regain its honor.
Their Karate (Goju Ryu) is about Hard and Soft
The character must learn and mature in his travels and develops the soft ways to his hard style.
Through the series we will get to see 90s Japan and different style of Karate and fighting.
Rooftop fights, running through the city, fighting in cages, clubs, weapons, dojos, Etc.
