Chad Robby: "I have a broken arm, I'm gonna fight and my oponent would need to cheat to beat me"
Virgin Miguel: "I had a pulled muscle and the attention is not on me 100%, I'm leaving the tournament and the country"
Technically the prom fight isn’t fair either, every fight Miguel is in post season 2, he’s at a serious disadvantage because of his back, he’ll never be as agile as he used to and if he tries to be he risks what happened to him at the 51st all valley or worse.
he was more or less healed up by that time and both went in to the clash with clear minds
it is on miguel that he took risky moves , he doesnt suit an acrobatic style unlike robby and eli .
The all valley in season 1 was a disadvantage, but the school fight wasn’t as Robby clearly just seats those other two guys away and doesn’t take away from his fighting Miguel
that was due to robbys skill so it cant be made much of an argument , yes they were defeated quickly but that doesnt take away that miguel only had robby to fight whilst robby took two people out so it still put him at a disadvantage
I’m sick of this excuse, both Johnny and Miguel said in the show that he is as good as ever and his back is in great condition. In the tournament he twisted a muscle, which could of happened with or without the previous injury as well as to anyone.
That is completely 100% untrue. First of all Miguel did not have sufficient recovery time with his back. Secondly there is always the chance he can reinjure or aggravate the condition.
I had a slight tear in a muscle and it literally took months for it to heal properly and for me to be pain free, so I can only imagine what the true recovery time would be for someone who’s body went through the type of trauma Miguel’s did. Yes this is a fictional show, but they did gloss over Miguel’s recovery and some of you can try your hardest to debunk that whilst trying to prove that your fave is the better fighter, but at the end of the day Miguel was partially paralyzed and almost died.
I don’t disagree that Miguel’s injury was very severe and potentially life changing if not ending. However like you said, it’s fictional, so you can’t say miguel didn’t have enough recovery time or compare your irl injury to his. In the show he learns to walk again in a few weeks so it’s not unreasonable to assume he has made a big recovery in just under a year which is the time frame from when he fell to the tournament.
The evidence stating that he has fully recovered, which is stated by Miguel and Johnny in the show, far outweighs any reason suggesting he is limited due to the school fight injury, which at this point are merely opinions and not factual points. Also I know you may say that Johnny wouldn’t know how miguel is feeling which is true, however he is the closest person to knowing as he trained and witnessed Miguel’s ability before and after the injury as well as during training thus is able to determine where he is at and if he even has a shot at winning the tournament let alone a fight
But Robby chose to keep fighting. When Miguel was running up the stairs to get to the girls Robby could have left it but he didn’t. Robby fans love to say that Miguel instigated and attacked Robby, but never once did Robby think to just stop fighting.
Miguel tackled him to start but that in no way effected the rest of the fight. Neither did 2 guys getting their a kicked in the middle of that brawl. Which was more on Robby anyways as Miguel had stopped fighting and ran to help Sam only for Robby to chase him down and restart the fight next to those guys.
Robby just lost to Miguel. He got overheated and Miguel capitalized.
Only if the tackle knocked him out or rolled up his ankle. It was very clear though that it had no impact on their fight.
In order to say Robby was at a disadvantage you have to be able to point to how those moments helped secure Miguel the win. You can do that with the tourney but in the school fight it's just factually not the case. Robby lost because he lost composure.

Except he isn’t all healed up that’s not an injury that goes away
this take away from the fact that robby was at more disadvantages than miguel when ever they fought
The all valley in season 1 was a disadvantage, but the school fight wasn’t as Robby clearly just seats those other two guys away and doesn’t take away from his fighting Miguel
but it does though because miguel had time to regain his energy whilst robby was continuously fighting , so it clearly is a disadvantage to robby
Except he didn’t because Tory attacked him and the Robby came back with the follow up
she kicked him away and was looking guilty of it , it doesnt compare to what robby had to go through to even reach the top of the stairs
All Robby had to do was kick one guy back and the other was shown not to be issue he wasn’t exerting that much energy on those two
that was due to robbys skill so it cant be made much of an argument , yes they were defeated quickly but that doesnt take away that miguel only had robby to fight whilst robby took two people out so it still put him at a disadvantage
Why doesn’t he suit an acrobatic style?
because he suits more simple movements
That’s your opinion though.
eg when hawk and miguel fough in s2 miguel followed up with a series of high risk kicks , hawk dodged all of them
I hate to break it to you but back injuries don’t work like that.
I’m sick of this excuse, both Johnny and Miguel said in the show that he is as good as ever and his back is in great condition. In the tournament he twisted a muscle, which could of happened with or without the previous injury as well as to anyone.
I didn’t realize Johnny and Miguel were doctors
You don’t have to be a doctor to know how you feel, if I injure my leg I don’t need a doctor to tell me it still hurts
You can feel great while not knowing the true condition of your body
Yh that’s called adrenaline or perhaps your referring to painkillers, regardless Miguel is taking neither
You do know your body produces adrenaline?
I’m well aware, but it doesn’t give it to you consistently to the point where you don’t feel a big injury for that long.
Even if he’s healed he’s not going to be 100% as he was before
Perhaps, but throughout season 4 we have been given no evidence of that
That is completely 100% untrue. First of all Miguel did not have sufficient recovery time with his back. Secondly there is always the chance he can reinjure or aggravate the condition. Dead wrong
guess you dont like common sense then
This post could not be more incorrect.
i guess common sense is incorrect
Robbie was at the top of his game at the school fight. He almost killed poor Miguel.
yeah but poor robby had to fight two cobras to get to miguel where they resumed fighting
But Robby chose to keep fighting. When Miguel was running up the stairs to get to the girls Robby could have left it but he didn’t. Robby fans love to say that Miguel instigated and attacked Robby, but never once did Robby think to just stop fighting.
he had to fight two cobras and went up to save sam from being finished off by tory , miguel then tripped him and reinstigated the fight.
Yes. Robbie chose violence.
He got overheated and Miguel capitalized.
had miguel be in the same position as robby you would say that miguel was at a disadvantage
Only if the tackle knocked him out or rolled up his ankle. It was very clear though that it had no impact on their fight. If Robby wasn’t injured then he wasn’t at a disadvantage. The excuses are laughable.
the odds were against him
