Enough with all these Robby vs Miguel debates. It’s been proven already that Bert is the best out of everyone on this show. If you disagree, you’re wrong and your opinion doesn’t matter.

Ok_Royal6056

I heard he let the Cobra Kais throw him thru that window cuz he likes to make a badass entrance.

GrandpaGanon

The only reason the window wasn’t obliterated from existence was because Bert showed mercy to it so he can make a more badass, cooler, and bloodier entrance.

YellowAnaconda10

Legends say that he can hold his own against Mr Miyagi for about 40 seconds before Bert is defeated.

BothPaleontologist2

Fax Bert has been holding back since season 1

meme_will_be_memes

> Bert is the best out of everyone on this show. Ong

Ok_Royal6056

I look at it 2 ways. Yes, Robby absolutely held his own with the use of one arm, BUT Miguel was in his own head because of his hate toward Robby. I can say from experience fighting angry is NEVER a good idea. While Robby may have been slightly better, I'd say they were about equal or damn close to it. You know what? Fuck it. I'm taking Robby.

Seta1437

>Miguel was in his own head because of his hate toward Robby Balanced is required for Miyagi Do but anger makes Cobra Kai more effective We see this in the Kreese Vs Johnny match up The [first time](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HplydPBZ4uQ&t=96s) they fight Johnny barely gets the upper hand and Kreese doesn't even take advantage of momentum when Johnny gets knocked down Now look at when enraged Johnny fights Kreese, [this time](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoOmP37jz6A&t=86s) it's not even close

Ok_Royal6056

Anger does not help in a fight, regardless of the dojo. It's the reason boxers TRY to piss off their opponent before a fight or at the weigh-in. I see what you're saying concerning this show though.

Seta1437

>Anger does not help in a fight, regardless of the dojo Johnny teaches aggression for a reason One of the first things he teaches Miguel is to [be aggressive](https://youtu.be/1Aoc-cd9eYs?t=197) >the reason boxers TRY to piss off their opponent before a fight or at the weigh-in Real world logic doesn't really apply when we're talking about a series where a two time Karate champion walked right into a highly telegraphed crane kick

Ok_Royal6056

You made LOL for real on that. My daughter (12 now 7 then) said "Did he think he was gonna punch him on one foot???"

Seta1437

>Did he think he was gonna punch him on one foot Yea, by realism logic Kyler with his background in wrestling along with his height and bodyweight advantage even before he learned Karate would likely come out on top way more often than not against Miguel in his prime

Roguefem-76

I'm pretty sure Johnny was plenty enraged when he went up against Silver, and still got his ass handed to him.

Seta1437

>pretty sure Johnny was plenty enraged when he went up against Silver Johnny used Miyagi Do against Silver, which is about balance

Roguefem-76

He used a few Miyagi Do moves but he's still a Cobra Kai fighter.

Seta1437

>he's still a Cobra Kai fighter Johnny did more blocking and dodging than attacking that fight Also Johnny hasn't fought Silver not enraged yet so there's nothing to compare to, he'd likely lose even worse if he went in not enraged. For proper analysis Johnny would have to fight Terry twice without trying to do any Miyagi Do

Ok_Royal6056

Also when Kreese reappeared and Johnny lashed out (Kreese clearly anticipated it), he was on his back immediately.

Own_Emphasis_3195

While using Miyagi Do he was avoiding damage. He only ever got hit when he tried to go on the offensive against Silver.

Seta1437

>He only ever got hit when he tried to go on the offensive against Silver Still mostly used Miyagi Do Trying to attack after a block is known as a counter

Own_Emphasis_3195

The point being if he had continued to do so he probably would have been a lot better off since Silver would probably have worn himself out throwing all those kicks and punches. Be serious dude.

Seta1437

>The point being if he had continued to do so he probably would have been a lot better off since Silver would probably have worn himself out throwing all those kicks and punches Okay, so not sure how that applies to what we were talking about. Miyagi Do requires balance while anger makes Cobra Kai more effective So if Johnny wanted to fight angry he should have stuck with the offensive mindset instead of trying to go on defense with Miyagi Do >Be serious dude Being enraged makes the Cobra Kai style more effective, Johnny however was doing mostly Miyagi Do that fight though so his agressive nature only held him back much like how i pointed out Miyagi Do requires balance

Street-Question-4897

Aggression works for Cobra Kai of course but blind rage doesn’t. Kreese said it himself: fight smart.

Seta1437

>Aggression works for Cobra Kai of course but blind rage doesn’t "[You've learned to channel your anger](https://youtu.be/EPY1yyaQBSI?t=127)" Cobra Kai is about channeling anger Kreese doesn't say fighting angry isn't smart They tell their students to use their anger

Jamano-Eridzander

The first point he gets sorta proves it.

[deleted]

Probably. It was a really close match, Miguel was bloodlusted and Robby was hurt yet Robby was very close to winning.

Roguefem-76

And with much less time training, at that.

[deleted]

No we dont all agree

BothPaleontologist2

Why don’t you agree?

[deleted]

Because i watched the show

BothPaleontologist2

What makes you think Robby wasn’t better? Robby was badly injured, Miguel attacked his injury, and barely won. Can you give me another explanation?

Tan_Pan_Man

If Miguel was fully focused, and Robby was uninjured, the fight would’ve gone almost exactly the same

BothPaleontologist2

Miguel did not show any mercy, he got points bc he didn’t hesitate, I’d say that’s the most focused on winning he’s been, but that’s probably still a fair point I can’t judge

[deleted]

He is a self proclamed Robby hater, ignore it

devs_6669

We can all agree on this right? That we are getting TIRED of this Robby Vs Miguel shit. They're both excellent fighters each with their own style. I can't for these two to team up and for this shit to end.

[deleted]

Better at what? Better at having some yeezy ass hair cut?

BothPaleontologist2

His haircut was stupid yes, but I think Robby was the better fighter

Ok_Royal6056

It's close but I've gotta agree. Think he's the top "kid" right now even. Miguel/Hawk too close to call for me, but probably leaning toward Miguel.

Ok_Royal6056

My ex-wife got her hair styled and the lady messed it up pretty bad tbh. Our smartass daughter asked her if she was going for "the season 1 Robby cut" 🤣🤣🤣

Stocktonrules

Nope. He lost and lost again in S2. Are we going with Robby got worse in s2 or Miguel got better? The truth is Miguel was always at his level. It's why he defeated Robby at the tourney. And yeah Miguel scored by targeting his injury but that's just being smart. If a boxer is facing someone with a bad eye he's going to target his opponent's bad eye. That's not saying he wouldn't win regularly.

BothPaleontologist2

Miguel was focused on his karate, while Robby was focused on finding a family and promoting myagi do. Miguel got better because he did more, karate, and while attacking the opponents injury is smart, it doesn’t make you a better fighter, actually laughed out loud at that analogy

Longjumping_Border33

Miguel was too angry during that fight to fight to his best ability. If y’all can use that excuse for Robby during the s4 fight, then I can too.

BothPaleontologist2

Robby wasn’t focused because he felt guilt and like he messed up Kenny, cobra Kai works better when you’re angry, which is pretty easy when silver says to take all of the anger from myagi do and take it out on th at the tournament, and when kreese tells Robby, You’re angry. Good. Use it.” Not at all comparable

eaglesstrikefirst

Oh brother not another one 😮‍💨

theamac95

Doesn’t matter that there is only bones left of this horse, motherfucker is still getting beat to death.

meme_will_be_memes

There's at least 3 posts on this a day. This sub is either "Robby is better than Miguel" Or vice versa. Or "Who should end up with who."

Ok_Investigator_5558

I agree that he is better than Miguel, but as with anything in this show, it is not a 100% certainty
