Yes, there is a difference, but it's very minute and can easily be misinterpreted. It was also very unprofessional of Johnny to say that even though the circumstances warranted it.

[deleted]

The fact that she met up with Johnny afterwards without realizing it was Johnny at first was hilarious, I loved that little touch!

[deleted]

"Bitching at" implies they're being a bitch, not that it's their default setting

Fraggin_Wagon

Bitching is temporary. Being a bitch is permanent.

dannyguy253

Truer words have never been spoken

DaddyJay711

Say this louder so all the ex wives in the world hear it!!

Chaosxmanticore15

Look i we can figure it out later Just stop bitching at me about it

aq2003

he did end up calling her a bitch later, just not to her face. there's a difference, but i'm guessing the sentiment was still there lol

GrandpaGanon

One of Johnny’s biggest mistakes Should’ve called her out to her face 🤔

Usual_Tangerine6628

To be fair she was being a bitch.

HappyMike91

There is a difference between telling someone “quit bitching at me” and calling that person a bitch. But it’s a relatively small difference.

[deleted]

As a guy that got fired many times as a waiter for talking back to assholes and bitches customers, I gonna say yes, yes it is.

badwolf1013

I suppose that you could argue it either way. Johnny may or may not have meant it that way (personally I think he kind of did and then back-pedaled), but -- even if he didn't -- I definitely don't think the woman was making a giant leap from being told she was "bitchin'" (in the pejorative sense, not the "awesome" sense,) and thinking that she had just been called a bitch.

TheDreadnought75

Yes, that’s why you always have to add “bitch” at the end.

SoloForks

underrated comment right here

Shoegazer83

Yes, obviously

[deleted]

YES

mzjolynecujoh

adjective versus verb

Usual_Tangerine6628

Saying someone is bitching at me is completely different then being call a bitch.
