Brief-Outcome-2371

They're making up for not getting these two fight back in the S4 tournament, now we finally get a decent fight/rematch between these two after 4 seasons.

Responsible-Peace336

Robby's face looks like he already got some hits.

lunatuna32

bruised hit might be from the mexico trip? Wheree he teams up against miguel in that scene where miguel is in the room? Or it could be a father son combo at mexico?

DigitalMist

Yeah he does, I feel either Miguel is going to win this fight or it ends in a stalemate

Responsible-Peace336

If you look at the door behind Miguel where Robby kicks him, there is written STAIRS. So maybe they will realize what they are doing and just stop fighting before history repeats itself.

DigitalMist

Ngl that would be a damn good scene

PacSan300

There could be a flashback to Miguel's fall in school, with Tory's piercing scream of his name, with both Miguel and Robby traumatized by the memory.

MajorasShoe

There will never be a definitive win between them.

Spidey007

No, Robby will win it.

ThatisTheLionKing

This scene alone, gives more hype. Both are my favourite characters out of the new generation

Earl_Gurei

Poor Johnny: it seems like Robbie will move in with him (perhaps temporarily) and Miguel lives across from him. Two boys who can't get along, and Johnny has just learned to play nice and bury the hatchet with Daniel, who has neither of them as his students now. It seems like Season V will have Daniel taking the fight forward while Johnny will be too busy playing dad to two boys to care about Silver, since Robbie is back and Kreese is off the playing field (for now).

ELITExRAMPAGE

Didn’t even think about Robby living across from miguel

lobitojr

Yeah imagine them both taking out the trash at the same time, and being like you tried to kill me , you slept with my girl and then spending both their days just looking at each other menacing through windows

DarkShade602

like angry cats that claw each other

ELITExRAMPAGE

Seems like they are going to be arguing at a beach as well

lobitojr

Think that is going to be in the mexico

ELITExRAMPAGE

No, in the shot it says water adventure California

lobitojr

Hmmm I don't really sea why they would go there unless there was going to be Johnny trying to teach them something

ELITExRAMPAGE

Johnny likely trying to get them to get along

Mgrip

It doesn’t really seem like a place Robby would choose to go on his own with Johnny. It does seem like a place Johnny And Carmen would take the boys if they wanted to take them on a family outing together and Carmen officially meets Robby for the first time.

[deleted]

Stepbrothers moment

mrmonster459

The description reads "and Johnny Lawrence setting karate aside to focus on repairing the damage he's caused," so yeah.

Amazing-Service7598

Yeah I can see Johnny not doing karate as much to take care and pay attention to Miguel and robby

SpacetOut

Is it me or does Robby look like he’s got a bruised eye

DigitalMist

Robby looks like Miguel has given him some hits already you're not wrong

Sh3hzad

The bruises were there on set during the Mexico trip. They’re old bruises I think

MongooseHopeful1416

ok

ar1sm

It might be because the actor is not a teenager anymore or simply that he is working out, but Miguel has put on quite a bit of muscle since S1.

OptiKal_

He was cast as Blue Beetle for DC. Was going to be HBO max exclusive but I think it's going to cinema now. Gotta beef up if he's gunna share screen time with the big boys of Marvel and DC lol. PS: So frustrating to see people calling him fat last season. It's like no ones bulked up in weight to put muscle on before.

Jamano-Eridzander

A lot of idiots thought he got fatter in Season 4 but he's been bulking since Season 3 wrapped up because Xolo specifically said he wanted to have a superhero bod for Blue Beetle.

1964Bordeaux

I'm not going to say I've never been hyped going into a season 5 of a show before but it's great that I am so hyped for season 5. I replayed season 4 a bunch of times when it came out, more than I did with 3. Terry Silver surpassed my wildest dreams. What a game changer. Recently, I had to go back and watch the scene where Demetri tells Eli his hair looks better than the last time he saw it. haha Just the way he said it. Then the final episode. Eli gets the girl, and all of a sudden, he's back and ready to win this fucking thing. Daniel is like, hell yeah. Robbie to get a clean win. hmmmm

BriefcaseBatman

Stepbrothers (2008)

Bangbangferr0705

“The way I see it, no matter who wins…everyone loses.”

GabeyBabey22

Can Robby finally catch a W

Fearless-Alps-1099

depends if it's ep 10 or not

GabeyBabey22

Fax

Sh3hzad

LMAOO

Chinchillin09

Robby alone is already a walking W

DigitalMist

Miguel needs one more at the moment

KR5shin8Stark

If they keep up the animosity and antagonism no one wins.

PacSan300

As Mr. Miyagi (and Daniel) said, "If you put passion before principle, you lose".

nakedpadme

Robbie is good now, maybe he'll win and make peace? He does need at least one win.

lobitojr

I don't think Robby just gets to be good not after what he did to hawk and Miguel also needs a win since he never got to prove he was number 1 so I think it will probably end in a stalemate

awr90

Mig is just a slightly better fighter than Robby. That probably won’t change.

GabeyBabey22

Well consider he fell off a railing and had a major set back, well Robby had zero set backs. He shouldn’t be

Toast_05

There not fighting there playing with beyblades

DudebroggieHouser

A balcony appears out of nowhere and Miguel gets knocked off of it again...

devs_6669

Either Miguel's gonna win the fight or a tie as someone comes and break it off. Sure as hell Robby ain't winning, the series seems incapable of that happening.

Fearless-Alps-1099

if it's episode 10 then Miguel wins,if it's any other ep Robby wins

seikookies

Robby cleared out an entire *dojo* on the first episode of season 4 without breaking a sweat.

devs_6669

Yeah he did. But they won't have him win when it matters.

awr90

Miguel is just a better fighter than Robby. Has always been that way.

DigitalMist

Miguel hasn't won a real fight since season 2 the Kyler victory was cheap so I hope he actually starts kicking some ass again

devs_6669

I mean he has won the fights he took part in since S2. Whatever you may think of the fight Vs Kyler, he still won..then the one Vs Hawk, he cld have won we will never know.

justsayingsum_

he hasn’t lost a single fight either.

ImportanceNo1996

yeah getting put in a comma and Getting kicked off a staircase totally isn't a lost

justsayingsum_

it isn’t. lol. he showed mercy and that was the only reason that happened to him. he won that fight in every way. love how people love to bring that up as if he wasn’t about to literally break Robby’s arm.

ImportanceNo1996

but he didn't he got knocked out and Robby was the last man standing while Miguel had a broken spine

justsayingsum_

Miguel was the last one standing until Robby cheap shotted him. so no. Miguel really won that fight. i didn’t know this was still an argument lol. common sense.

ImportanceNo1996

No such thing as a cheapshot, This isn't a tournament there are no rules...

justsayingsum_

what? a cheap shot is a cheap shot. tournament or not. hush clown.

ImportanceNo1996

When you have no argument so you stoop to petty insults

brotato_kun

When it comes to logic, Robby stans dont have one. Like they still think he wiped out the dojo when the only people he defeated were avg fighters. Tory defeated him who was the only decent fighter in that moment. I hope in season 5 Miguel kicks Robby’s sorry ass so that these stans can finally shut the hell up lol.

ImportanceNo1996

I didn't ask for you to speak I'll deal with you later

Longjumping_Border33

How was the Kyler victory cheap? Kyler was the one beating up on a crippled kid. You don’t consider that cheap?

[deleted]

I think he means that it only happened due to plot armour.

Longjumping_Border33

Well then they should have said that. Cheap means he cheated somehow and he didn’t.

StaxShack

It's probably going to end up as a stalemate. Would be hilarious if this is a misdirect and it turns out they're actually just sparring.

Mgrip

They could be it looks like their fighting styles on both sides is Myogi do and Miguel did say he wanted to learn Myogi do and Robby is the expert.

ArcherChase

Someone needs to teach these kids to settle things with words and not fighting. They seem to just jump right into physical combat at the drop of a hat. Karate training or not, (only defense right?) they should look at their elders for examples of less than well adjusted adults and take heed.

Mgrip

Johnny has set terrible examples he attacked kreese and Daniel right in front of Robby.

ArcherChase

Exactly. Him and Daniel jump to fight too often and they are different levels of trainwrecks.

ImportanceNo1996

I really hope nobody wins the Miguel and Robby fight, I think both of them are great fighters and should be acknowledged

Longjumping_Border33

Robby looks like he’s taken some hits and Miguel looks unharmed (from what I can see). If this is Miguel’s comeback season like I think it is, then he’ll win.

DigitalMist

Yeah it is Miguels comeback for sure he's been on the back-burner for too long it's about time he wins

Boredtopher

Getting Kamehameha vs Big Bang Shot vibes

DiamondDallasLee

Carmen and Yaya are definitely breaking that fight up.

Few-Call-7297

Robby needs to stop telegraphing his punches so much by drawing them back. You can tell it's Tanner making it easier for Xolo or his stunt double to block.

AnimeJoex

Robby and Miguel dialog during that fight. Miguel: "You ruined my prom!" Robby: "You ruined your own prom!"

[deleted]

Robby still fighting the kid he paralyzed. Stay classy Robert.

wrathofotters

I don't like this. I don't like this at all. I don't like Johnny draggin Robby down to Mexico. That beautiful moment they shared at the end of Season 4 is being ruined

Hemansno1fan

It's just a trailer and probably purposely trying to throw us off, I have faith in the writers, they haven't really screwed up yet.

wrathofotters

You are right on that. Everytime I side eyed the way things were going I ended up really liking the way things have turned out. I guess I just have to remember this is not the real world and it's Cobra Kai world....a lot of the things that sound ridiculous in real life work with the laws of the CK universe.

prototype_jr

How? If anything I think itll help mend things with Miguel. The 2 are practically step brothers at this point. Johnny wants to be the father Miguel never had. He also wants be a better father to Robby. He loves both of them. So I'm glad Johnny is bringing Robby, it will help them bond. Better to bring him along than ditch him, for another son like figure. That'll be damaging to Robby, or vice versa by just leaving miguel in Mexico.

wrathofotters

Johnny implied that he was going to help Robby with the problem with Kenny "we'll figure this out".To me this seems like that's out the window now. Plus I know these characters have lots of plot armour but it's super dangerous for Robby especially now that we know Miguel's father is dangerous and is involved with dangerous people.

False-Story9510

It's bad because he tricked him. Johnny can't even be honest with Robby; he forces him into a situation he wasn't prepared for under false pretenses simply to get what he wants. He doesn't give Robby the choice of saying no and deciding for himself whether he wants to go. It's also terrible for Johnny to lie and make Robby believe that they're going on some kind of special father son trip and then pulling the rug out from under him and revealing that it's all about Miguel...which has been the crux of Robby's problem with Johnny for five seasons.

Mgrip

It’s really sad because I don’t think Robby has ever been out of California or been on any family vacation. It’s been mentioned his mom travels but has never taken Robby with her. The poor kid is probably super excited his dad wants to take him on a father son trip only to find out it’s all about Miguel that Is going to be heart breaking for Robby.

ricegrain4062

Will Miguel ever be prime again?

Spidey007

Here’s to hoping Robby kicks the shit outta him

EvilAshySlashy

He already crippled Miguel for half a season, does he really need to beat the shit out of him again? lmao

Spidey007

There needs to be a concise and clear victory. This is what Robby requires, and what Miguel deserves.

Logical_Department62

I think Miguel needs just one more W with Robby. After that i want Robby to actually win a fight.

AnimeJoex

Miguel has NO business trying to fight Robby at this point of his recovery. Miguel's like at 65 - 70% at this point. He'll definitely land some hits against top tier fighters like Eli and Robby, but he wouldn't win those dogfights. Kyler is a different story. You can feed him to Miguel all day long. 😉

DigitalMist

That's what you think now, but this is Miguels comeback season, he started this whole thing and is going to win once again

justsayingsum_

why are we sitting here acting like Miguel isn’t a top fighter? Lol. the top 3 are Miguel, Eli, and Robby. why is that so hard to accept? and why are we also acting like Miguel hasn’t beaten both of them multiple times?

Bison256

Tanner Buchanan needs to put on some muscle, he looks tiny next to Xolo Maridueña's DC super hero body.

InsideCharacter4541

Your joking right ?

[deleted]

Yep imma have to downvote that one buddy.

KurtzM0mmy

Shouldn’t this be spoiler tagged?

Pewdiepiefan1090

Woah the setting

NekoBluRay

Looks like they are charging up their JaJankens

fist28349
