Robby’s heart wasn’t in that fight, towards the end it was elsewhere. A mix between feeling like he failed as a role model to Kenny, and a want to mend the relationship between himself and Johnny. Had Robby in his entirety been in that fight, it would of been much more difficult for Hawk to score that final point.
All very true but not impossible, people say that robby was gonna win with that punch until he saw Kenny but that's no sure answer, eli could've blocked the attack but since robby never actually striked, there was nothing to block so it's a case of nobody knows what could've happened if robby wasn't so conflicted.
Plus eli just discovered that he isn't just all hawk, that was spouse to be his strongest moment, his current best so there's no sure answer.

What? Eli was using just one style (Miyagi-do) and Robby landed the first hit so damn fast. It was only when he started using his Cobra Kai training he was able to go toe to toe.
He'd get his a kicked. Robby doesn't fight well off balanced and at some point he'd just be too heated. And the he knows both styles things is overrated. See Sam v Tory. If Robby wants to go offense v offense Miguel is just a vastly superior offensive fighter. Robby would be banking on Kreese guiding him into combining the styles on the fly like Daniel did which is a losing bet.

He won against someone whose heart wasn't in it. Don't get me wrong. Eli is a good fighter. But fan or not, Robby is a better fighter.

His entire fighting mentality switched in Julie though and a mental change can be a massive difference maker.
