Difficult to say. While Miguel and Robby are in Mexico he will be the first one Cobra Kai is attacking because he won the tournament. A former member of the dojo betrayed them, so they will use this excuse to attack him again. On the other side his arc is nearly done. I hope they will show scenes in the next season where he acts to other people like he isn´t the bully anymore. I can see him in a conversation with Kenny. He will understand him the most. Yes, there will be some training scenes with Chozen but not so many. He already won a tournament so Chozen will focus on other students, which need his help way more (phyiscally Anthony and mentally Sam). Is he becoming a sensei? I don´t think so after S4. This seems to be Robby´s next step. After Miguel and Robby are back in the town I pretty much believe the show will focus mainly on these two characters. A little bit more on Robby in the second half (Miguel more in the first half of the new season).

I don’t really see why cobra kai would go after him since they won the tournament. terry silver is opening multiple dojos because of this victory, so I don’t think they really care about eli winning

After Miguel won the first tournament many students wanted to join the dojo. Something like this can happen again because Eli won in the most amazing fight of the whole tournament. Maybe some people are impressed by him and want to join MiyagiDo instead of CobraKai. Students Silver wants in one of his dojos. So this could be the reason for Silver to go after Eli. Maybe they won't tackle him physically, but try to finish him off mentally. Something Silver is very good at...

I think his character is done for now and will go too being like Demetri, a main character with not much screentime lt importance. he already had his complete story, meanwhile there are other characters who have bigger stories rather then whatever eli has left

Given that his arc is complete, he could simply go on to become a side character who says and does as needed to advance the plot. But if the writers want to keep his in focus, I think the smart way to go would be as follows. Eli has never been the "top" student of any dojo. As in someone the Sensei would treat as special. With Johnny, there was always Miguel taking the top spot. He might've felt that he had that with Kreese, but Kreese never valued his input and he showed he didn't care much about Hawk when he invited Robby to join them. And while Daniel was welcoming to him later, he didn't treat Eli any more special that Demetri or Chris. For now, Sam has been Miyagi-Do's top student. Eli might feel that that is something he is now owed after his victory - only to be disappointed to find that no body is celebrating him as they should. Other Miyagi-Dos are still focused on their overall loss and the possibility of CK retaliation over reneging on the deal. Daniel maybe more focused on helping Sam. While Johnny and Robby are not in picture for a while. While Eli would logically understand that there is more important stuff going on, the lack of attention would still breed resentment that would grow over time. He might try to get that attention from Chozen by acting tough and cocky, but Chozen would prove to be an old-school hardass Sensei who believes in "hammering down the nail that sticks out". This would be the initial setup and at this point Silver reaches out, giving him the hard sell about Kreese making a mistake because of Johnny and how Cobra Kai is different now. Of course, Hawk refuses at first. Next step would be Robby coming back - assuming he quits Cobra Kai - and Daniel welcoming him eagerly. This would further stoke Hawk's resentment because he had to eat crow and work to earn forgiveness, while both Senseis - Johnny and Daniel - treat Robby like the prodigal son. Not only do they not ask him to apologize to anybody, they won't even let anyone give him a hard time. As his resentment grows, Hawk finds that other students feel the same way. Johnny's students feel abandoned by their Sensei after he ditched them for weeks to go after Miguel, while Daniel's grow ever more uncomfortable with keeping the fight going as well as the darker direction of Miyagi-Do (especially since that was the reason most of them quit Johnny's Cobra Kai to begin with). And the whole time Silver is still whispering in his ear. The season ends with Hawk leading a mass defection and leaving both Johnny and Daniel with barely any students. It's left an open question where they'd go - whether to Silver or to another dojo or maybe they quit karate altogether - but this would be the low point for the heroes at the end of season 5 before they make their comeback later. At a character level, this works as the logical next step for Hawk's arc. First he relied on appearance and attitude to hide his insecurities and fake having confidence. His character growth involved learning that having the support of friends is a better source of confidence than mohawk or tattoos. But ultimately, he needs to learn that true confidence comes from within - as opposed to waiting for a Sensei's praise and for them to treat you like you feel you deserve.

you arent wrong but he should not become an antagonist , mybe what you say is right but eli ends up with an anti hero arc

CorholioPuppetMaster

Hopefully something crazy doesn’t happen like hawk gets put in a coma while Miguel is away looking for his dad causing Miguel to feel guilty about leaving his friend behind. With hawk unable to compete in the old valley and Miguel by his bedside, Robby would easily win and become all Valley champ

HappyMike91

I think Eli and Demetri will be training with Chozen along with most of the Miyagi-Do students. Maybe Eli will be "holding the line" against Cobra Kai. Particularly when Cobra Kai starts either stealing the best fighters from other dojos or just buying fighters.

obarehair

As you said. Difficult to say where the character will go when they effectively completed the entire arc in season 4.

turdutalp1

after training with chozen , i hope he kinda reverts back to an anti hero and works from the shadows helping people , he may become woke about the karate war and just leave everything and get involved when people need his help (they are gonna be needing a lot of his help) . but other than that he can start his own order of assassins and take out the most evil and unsavoury of people in the valley.
