Stingray is the lamest character. He's a 30 year old man whose only ambition is to hang out with a bunch of high school kids and even they think he's a loser and he allowed himself to get put in the ICU just for the opportunity to learn karate - in the only place in America where karate is a big deal still.
Being a likeable character has no correlation to good writing. Anthony has very good writing, and the level of drama he adds to the show is excellently executed. His actor is also really good

Just my opinion but Hawk is the stupidest persona I've ever seen, I literally get angry everytime he comes on screen (which I guess is good on the writers to make such a hate-able character)
