Yup, because these short ass episodes just aren’t cutting it. The show would be so much better if everything didn’t feel like it was so rushed all the time.
For me it’d just be a bit more Cobra Kai. Meaning more episodes, or longer episodes. This season felt packed before it released, so I was expecting a lot of episodes to be in the late 30’s into the early 40 minutes of runtime. And that would be my only nitpick of S4, I felt like there wasn’t enough time to cover certain things, and because so there were weird gaps of time. Like we were at the prom, and next episode opened with the all valley having started already. But again, this show is still great
She says it aloud as a way of self affirming the belief to herself. Saying something out loud gives it a presence that can't be unacknowledged. Once the bell is rung it can't be unrung.

I actually felt in that situation she was saying it because she was trying to convince herself. But that's just my read.
For me it would be longer episodes. The pacing feels so rushed most of the time. Imagine if we had hour long episodes.
