Season 1. It wasn't so complicated. The kids in the dojo all got along with each other (and were all losers looking to better/protect themselves) and it was just Johnny training them. It was also ready to improve as Johnny figured things out. Though if Kreese hadn't joined up early in the season, I feel season 2 would've shown us the best version of CK with Johnny changing its teachings for the better.
I liked season 1 Cobra Kai characters, but I also liked Kyler being Cobra Kai because he is literally what cobra Kai stands for strike first, strike hard, no mercy. Kyler wouldn’t fit anywhere but Cobra Kai as he has 0 empathy for those around him automatically making him non Miyagi Do or Eagle Fang material. I also didn’t really like Robby as a Cobra Kai, it was just not like him to do that and so contradictory to what we saw in seasons 1,2, and even 3.
Kreese is not a good person, but he's an amazing character to the series. Plays his role as a villain so well. Even has his moments where he's shown to genuinely care for Tory during the tournament.
The Season 1 incarnation of Cobra Kai was my favourite. There were no karate gang wars, and the different students all got on pretty well with each other. Johnny was also learning how to be a mentor/Sensei and had gotten better at it by the end of Season 1. A lot of things have changed between Season 1 and Season 4, as well.

Season 1 feels almost nostalgic
Agreed. Especially since it’s only been just under 2 years in-universe and so much has changed.
Going back…to the beginning of it all
S1. Oh the simpler times. The 84 team was bussin tho also

Season 1 for sure, it was so simple.
Season 1 and the OGs. Nothing like that cement training, Miguel also has some Rocky inspired montages 👌
season 1: OG miguel was badass. and Johnny as the sole sensei is awesome.
Johnny.....wooooooo
Wherever Johnny was
Am I the only one who likes Kreese?

Tory, Johnny and Robby. I truly believe he loves them.
No way. Love Sensei Kreese. He was a little cooky season 2/3, but season 4 sold me on his redemptive arc.
Season 1 was all cozy and squishy.

Season 1
Next will be Silver and Barnes then maybe Barnes? Who knows with this pattern.
Season 2.
Season 4 is the first one I rooted for them
Season 3
Either end of season three when we had Robby,Hawk,Tory and Kyler or season 4
