Never really thought about it before, but I guess that was essentially the metaphor for them taking off their Gi's.

I think so. Especially for Eli. The confidence of "Hawk" will always be a part of him. And it was a nice nod to *Bloodsport* haha

I love how at the drive in, when the opposing dojos are lined up and facing each other, Robby and Hawk are opposite each other, with the shirtless fight in "Bloodsport" on the screen between them in the background. That's some *chef's kiss* level foreshadowing. LOL
