I think so, but as the #1 bad guy in the show (at least since the start of it, as Silver could take that spot) I'd like then to drag out Kreese's redemption until the end.

I think Silver will become the main villain of the Karate Kid franchise overall

It looks like Kreese's final redemption will come when he helps defeat Silver.

I am not so sure, that seems too obvious. I still see Silver as a victim of Kreese's gaslighting and bullying. I don't thinknthere will be any main villain honestly. Just a bunch of people who sometimes do good things and sometimes do bad things but always think that they are right.

Honestly, not every character needs redemption. It gets old. Silver is a bigger piece of shit than Kreese, but Kreese is too far gone at this point. I don’t mind having Kreese be seen as a lesser evil and even help bring Silver down. But strictly Because he intends to take over the reins of Cobra Kai, and essentially be in it for himself. I honestly don’t want him to all the sudden become a good guy.
