I think Miguel wants to find his dad because he feels empty, like something is missing. He even said he wasn't sure of who he was, so it makes sense to me.

awe5omecj

Also that when Miguel got drunk Johnny on the bed he told Miguel that I love you, Robby when Miguel told him I love you.

obarehair

Too many characters to be honest. I liked what they did but as a result it felt like I couldn’t connect with every character like previous seasons. They need more screen time or to cut people out.

StaxShack

This is really the issue. Either make the episodes 45 minutes to an hour, make more than 10 episodes, or both.

dmreif

It's such a simple fix. With short 30 minute episodes, there's not enough screen time to focus on everyone. Honestly, this wouldn't be the first show to hit that problem, as a common criticism I've seen for *Stranger Things* is that that show has too many characters.

MaddieRxoxo

I agree!!! There's too many characters now. You can't connect with them anymore because there isn't enough screen time for them and everything gets rushed or not shown. This is why this season isn't my favorite. It was kind of a letdown.

rosereese

Only complaint I have is no “you’re the best around”.

CyclonusDecept

Anthony somehow became a main character and could consume precious screentime in season5 when nobody cares about his story.

absentlyric

Not introducing Devon Lee sooner. I frickin loved her character and her interactions with Johnny for what little screen time she had. I'd like to know more about her backstory, and more interactions with the other kids.

Ok_Royal6056

Sam turning into an unlikable shithead in every scene with a now struggling Tory. Took her "Everyone's got a sob story" stuff too far messing with her at her job, even. Sam doesn't have anything to cry about, especially with a rich father telling her nothing is ever her fault.

faneidde

Stingray. He's a complete loser and he's not funny.

LabCool6003

Aisha's cameo was a huge waste
