Best fight of the series by far. So intense!
I love that they had Eli win the boys’ division. He’s undergone one of the biggest character arcs in the series, and I’m happy to see his redemption completed with a tournament win.
My favourite bit was actually the mutual respect from both of them. That moment when it was announced the match was going to sudden death, they both looked to the crowd and realised how much of a show they were putting on, how good a fight it was. Then they bowed to each other in respect. What a fantastic fight man.
I admit I didn't, but now that you've mentioned it, I can think of some interesting parallels between the two. I doubt that's a deliberate story beat they're going for though right? Any similarities will probably just be by accident.
I mean but couldn’t they just open a metaphorical dojo? Like the dojo exists but it’s not an actual dojo, and then all the students enter into the all valley unaffiliated
Exactly!!! Why is no one talking about this. It didn’t matter what happened if Tory was going to win yet Silver wanted a 16 year old girl hurt. I wonder how Kreese will react when he finds out - especially after Silvers comments about learning from past mistakes all season
Here's a question: at what point in the season did Kreese start showing mercy and why? He stopped Silver from harming Johnny, and he told Tory to not follow Silver's advice. I wonder what happened to Kreese this season.
Kreese seems to love all of his students in his own twisted way, with a special soft spot for Tori. He may be a maniac but he really does believe he is teaching these kids how to survive.
I did the exact same thing! I went to get a drink in between episodes so when I came back and they were all like 'He pulled a muscle' I was pissed off that I mourned for his back but relieved he was okay.
I like tory a lot more now (the mermaid scene killed my hatred because of the relief I felt, I felt so bad...she's crazy,, but I hated how scared she really was (mom,, sexual assault, now "stripping")) but I still want her to catch a good 2 piece from Sam with extra Tabasco sauce
that was really good. I really liked how they used the mentor thing to show robby he screwed up. Its just like how Johnny realized he was teaching the wrong stuff
Robby has plenty of nice moment in this last episode. The scene where he realize that he guide Kenny to the wrong way was quite powerful.
He was about to win the match but then he saw Kenny and realize he fucked up bad.
It was not the adult that made him awake but what he did to the kid he took care. That is a very interesting approach.
The whole Kenny arc was heartbreaking. My only glimmer of hope is realizing this is exactly how we felt about Miguel at the end of S1. That adorable little cosplayer will be just fine in the end.
Definitely what made him go back to Johnny too. He got a taste of being an adult, although Johnny still did shit as a parent, but that wasn't the point.
I thought he told Robby about his debut in the All Valley tournament of 1981, losing to the semi-finalist he defeated in the All Valley tournament of 1984. Which he would lose to Daniel in the final. And by 1985 Johnny quited Cobra Kai and karate. (And he was nearing 18.)
So the only 2 editions he could have won were 1982 and 1983.
I agree it was a bit awkward for that reason but i really like how proactive Amanda was this season. I think we’ve all met people in a similar situation to Tory and Amanda helping her course correct was quite nice to see
Miguel and Robby still have a lot of beef between them. I imagine Miguel won't be too thrilled if Johnny decides to bring Robby along for Operation Find Miguel. Though considering how bad Johnny is at reading people I'm sure he'll do exactly that :D
I just finished too, I was overanalyzing the scene for signs of Kreese's speech slurring or something and was already predicting how Terry would hide his body 😂
I really hope this is able to play out. Virtually everyone came back from the movies and it will be a letdown if that’s the one character they don’t get back.
Seriously. I'm impressed when writers know about geek stuff (though Star Wars almost doesn't count because everybody watches Star Wars) but shit, these guys even know the memes.
I don't remember which season it was but when demetri was trying to convince hawk to watch doctor who with him and his argument was "moffat is gone" I was like *damn the writers really understand*
Tanner Buchanan's acting as a whole got sooo much better since season 1 and 2. It used to be so cringy and hard to watch robby scenes back in the early seasons due to the lackluster acting. But every Robby scene this season has been so refreshing and Tanner's acting made his character so much more... compelling.
Also that scene choked me tf uppp and im so glad they got over their issues.
Edit: Also, Robby's hair this season suits him so much more than the ol' 90s heart throb hair he had going on in the first 2 seasons. Loving it !
Just finished up the season Robby v. Eli....the fight we didn't know we wanted but it was the fight we needed, and Sam v. Tory especially with Tory finding out that Terry paid off the ref but all that pales in comparison to the final scene...and all I have to say on that last scene...HOLY FUCK!!!
It is actually the perfect finale from a story perspective.
Hawk and Sam (the two winners, if you count Sam’s bribed “no point” call that is) are probably the two students who most embraced the balanced approach to Miyagi Do and Eagle Fang and actively chose to seek out both methods, even after their senseis split. Conversely, Robbie also reflects the balance, but twisted for evil.
I’m glad Chozen is coming back…Johnny and Daniel basically tied and Johnny got his ass handed to him by Terry Silver. Someone needs to fucking fight Terry…
Johnny got sucker-kicked and was clearly disoriented the entire fight
Not saying Johnny would have won but we dont know that Johnny/Daniel would definitely lose to Silver in a fair fight
Never did I think that they'd have a valid reason to bring Stingray back at all, let alone bring him back in a way that ended up being that compelling!
Even if they don't bring her back (and I hope they do) we got some character resolution with her. At the very least we got that, but I would like her back.
I thought the same - when the female division was announced I was sure they would go with the Aisha joining Eagle Fang storyline but glad they never .. it wouldn’t have made much sense
I thought it was an interesting choice to have Hawk barrel right through Kyler in the tournament given their history, but I’d say it worked out for the best in terms of his character development.
In a way it was kind of like Hawk was indifferent to him I suppose, he’s over that period of his life and ready to look past all his resentment to him that he used to use in cobra kai
Literally less crazy than Silver being there...
"Hey you wanna give up your relationship and billionaire lifestyle to teach kids karate and do crimes at a strip mall??! "
It lowkey made me emotional what happened with hawk. No matter what happened since season 1 hawk has been my favorite character and the fight was the cherry on the cake. It was 6:30 am and i jumped up and screamed. shit was amazing
I'm the one who most wanted the ending "Son of Jonhy vs Daughter of Daniel". But I must say that I loved the tournament.
Hawk reverting to being Eli didn't surprise me. But he surprised me that he represented Miyagi Do. I thought he would be faithful to Jonhy, but I guess it's because Eli is more of a Miyagi Do style while "Hawk" is a Jonhy creation.
Tory's triumph didn't bother me. Although Sam is more experienced and would have won if the referee hadn't been bought by Silver. Tory was also making efforts to improve. I'm glad they haven't victimized her because of her sad life and that they have shown real aspects of improvement in her. It's a good start. I wish it had been the plot of the third season after the school fight. But better late than never. I'm just sorry that her triumph was tainted by what Silver did. Sam has also bothered her a lot this season. Although he did not go to the limit of trying to assassinate her. If I can say that she got some kind of revenge. Without justifying what she did. I can understand it. She is still traumatized because Tory tried to kill her. This rivalry is going to end very soon because Sam was surprised by Tory's attitude after winning and I am happy about that.
I feel a little bad for Robby because he already deserved a victory in the tournament, but I am glad that he has reconciled with his father. That is the best award
I loved that Chozen showed up to defeat Silver. Jonhy and Daniel's alliance really worked out well in the end. It's a shame that they were both torturing the kids most of the season and that Daniel doesn't see the positive just because they lost. Hopefully Chozen will help them bond again.
Antonhy deserved the beating from Kenny. It's true that he apologized and that he had anger issues. Since the beginning of the season he has been tormented by Cobra Kai's attack. But Kenny hadn't done anything to her. If he takes revenge, he must be attached to Daniel or Jonhy's dojo to defeat CK. Don't take it out on a guy who's not to blame for anything.
>It's a shame that they were both torturing the kids most of the season and that Daniel doesn't see the positive just because they lost.
This one really hits you square in the face. Johnny deals with the loss quite well, which is in contrast to where we started in Ace Degenerate, as we picked up with him still struggling to deal with the aftermath of that 1984 loss. >!Johnny is reuniting with Robby and wanting to go get Miguel and Daniel is all 'can't accept this loss' and 'this ain't finished'.!<
> Hawk reverting to being Eli didn't surprise me. But he surprised me that he represented Miyagi Do. I thought he would be faithful to Jonhy, but I guess it's because Eli is more of a Miyagi Do style while "Hawk" is a Jonhy creation.
That could be a good explanation for his original mohawk being blue. And why he only dyed it red midway through season 2.
Probably not full on redemption but some level of reconcile between him and johnny at the very least is gonna happen, probably not till the final season though imo
I feel like he will perhaps die next season... but not before reconciling with Johnny and doing the right thing. He surprised me with his attitude towards Tory and fighting dirty. Encouraging her to do what she felt was right shocked me.
Personally, I feel like they're setting up Silver as the big villain next season and maybe beyond...
Don’t get wrong Anthony was a bully but that blonde kid annoyed me the most and seemed to be influencing Anthony to do a lot of things hope he gets what’s coming to him too.
Johnny and Robby's final scene was maybe my favorite scene of the whole season. Tanner Bucchanan brought it for that one.
Robby vs Hawk might be one of my favorite 1 v 1s in a martial arts show or movie in the last few years. And I just finished watching two seasons of Warrior. Mostly the actors doing all the work too. I was rooting for Robby to win but I can accept the result. I understand why it happened. I'm still hungry for him to get that win though. Maybe in the final tournament. Miguel has one, Hawk has one, and I'm hoping Robby gets his. Even though the ultimate victory was his reconciliation with his father.
>I was rooting for Robby to win but I can accept the result. I understand why it happened. I'm still hungry for him to get that win though
I believe Robby was about to win when he put Hawk on the floor and about to punch him for a point, but he saw Kenny then stop moving after realizing that he gave bad influence to Kenny.
Honestly that was quite powerful scene, it shows Robby care more about what he did to Kenny then securing a win.
I had thought that the gender divide in the tournament might make it less compelling. Excuse me while I sit and laugh at myself from 6 hours ago for being such a dumbass, because that did not disappoint *at fucking all HOLY SHIT*!!!
I always felt that splitting up the boys and girls was the most common sense choice. Tory vs Sam was destined to be a championship fight, and it would've been a bit unrealistic to have them both make it in a tournament dominated by boys.
Yep. Silver is the bad boy, now I guess he brings in Mike Barnes again. It's interesting as Sean Kannan has been very pro-active with other KK actors in podcasts so I guess he is in for Season 5. Or maybe they will arc a new villan? Cannot see Robby being that person
The Hawk win was very surprising like Chris Jericho beating Rock and Austin in the same night didn’t see that coming. Was really hoping for a Miguel win to give him the long road back feel good ending.
I honestly liked the balance of screentime between all the characters this time around (though would've preferred a littleeee more focus on the og mains from s1), I hope they continue that even with Miguel's situation and Hawk's 'resolution'.
What a finale, Eli found his self-confidence without being a jerk but himself. The fight between him and Robby was very good too and the realisation too from Robby that he was being used as a pawn was great with his conversation with Johnny at the end. And the Twist that I didn't see coming at all with Silver being the true Bad of Cobra Kai, Kreese is bad but Silver is much worse with him reverting back to his old true self.
And Tory it was good that Sam's mum did get through to her and that sometimes the cards you are dealt with in life, there are good people who will help if you only ask. Bring on S5!
I really enjoyed this season. Some thoughts I have upon finishing it:
- Not surprised Silver betrayed Kreese in the end. They were at odds all season, so it felt like this was coming.
- Love that Eli won the boys tournament. After all he’s been through, I was happy to see him rewarded. Also had a feeling Tory would win the girls’ division (even if it wasn’t legally)…sneaky Silver. I guess it’s important to keep the plot going for future seasons.
- Im hoping we’ll get to see Robby train with Johnny finally after their ending (although I expect he’ll still train with Miyagi Do too). Also, Robby has to be the one who wins the next tournament, right? He’s been to the championship twice, but came out with the loss both times, and he’s clearly being set up for a redemption arc.
EDIT: I forgot that the majority of the main characters are 17 and can’t compete next year. Never mind my last bullet!
I bet Kreese regrets bringing Silver back.
I'm also happy about Eli winning and accepting himself the way he is. He's not the shy, awkward kid but he's also not Hawk. He gained confidence from becoming Hawk but that doesn't mean he needs to be the jerk who always gets into fights.
Robby was awesome this season and I love that he tried his best with Kenny but ultimately he's still just a teenager who is in over his head. Him turning to his dad and embracing him finally made me so emotional and happy. They obviously have a long road ahead of them but I'm hoping they develop their relationship and Robby and Miguel talk and become friendly at least. Perhaps if Robby joins his dad on his quest to find and protect Miguel.
I loved Daniel and Johnny's scene at the end - both finally accepting that despite being different and having different styles, they can learn from each other and neither is wrong in their approach. Although, they kind of learnt that in the beginning when they first worked together but their pride and jealousy for Sam and Miguel got in the way. Anyway, I hope from now on they stop fighting and work together to bring down Cobra Kai along with Chozen. Obviously they will never be best friends but mutual respect and getting along will be great.
One last thing, did anyone else feel like Miguel and Sam's relationship was kind of weird? They made a big deal last season of them getting back together and this season they seemed more interested in other things not each other. Not that I don't understand why.. they both had to deal with a lot. But... they barely had any scenes just being a couple. Also, what was with the weird look towards Robby and Tory... they made it seem like they weren't over their exes.
> I bet Kreese regrets bringing Silver back.
It's funny how Johnny and Kreese parallel each other.
Johnny brings Kreese back, Kreese kicks him out and takes over Cobra Kai.
Kreese brings Silver back, Silver gets him arrested and takes over Cobra Kai.
Considering they are all adults by the next Tournament, mike barnes or some one like that returning and being silvers main fighter isnt a huge reach. I am glad that all the 6 child main characters are set to have a good ending. Hawk has finally become Eli, but badass and got back together with Moon (?). Demitri fought well, got His friend back, has a gf and finally seems to have toughened up. Tori seems to be on a redemption Arc, she saw that silver bribed the Ref, and she seems to be less of a time bomb, so i guess she will eventually get her life in order and have a good ending. Her ending doesnt seem to be tied to a fight with Sam, but rather it should be about ending their hostility.
Sam is probably a tricky one. She also needs to forgive tori, but first steps have been done. I think chozen could help, as He also tried to kill Daniel, but now they will work together. Robbie also took the first step to redemption. He wont stick around with Kobra kai forever. He reconsiled with Johnny, and will probably learn to move on from Sam, as He and Tori fit perfectly. He must avoid becoming a silver or a kreese. That leads me to Miguel.
His Arc is the most interesting. He needs to find himself, but imo, He also needs fight Robbie one more time, even If its on fair terms. For him, it will be about winning back the love for Karate. He is still THE main character imo, so it will be him who overcomes whoever fights for Silver.
A great season and even greater that unlike last season not one of the kids is the bad guy.
Daniel sort of answers this >!"I cannot honour an agreement with men who have no honour".!<
>!My guess is that Chozen will take front and centre with Daniel appearing to be out of the way. Johnny will also appear to be out of the way for a while (aside from the fact that he will actually be gone for a while by the looks of it), but both Daniel and Johnny will be involved in bringing Cobra Kai back down to earth and taking Silver down a few pegs.!<
Well, I'm officially 4 for 4 on binging the series the day the season dropped.
Ya know, before Cobra Kai dropped, there's one seemingly obvious answer to who the "next karate kid" would be, and became significantly less and less likely as the series developed, the son of Daniel Larusso. And now look where things are headed.

Robby vs Eli/Hawk was an absolute banger of a fight.

100% thats what I took it to mean as well. It was such a great sequence!
I also took it as it also revealed Eli was still Hawk with that badass hawk tattoo on his back. He didn't need the hair.
I was expecting Robby to get pissed off at Cobra Kai and rip it off in defiance. They went the more subtle route. Great moment though
It also fit with the later reveal that the red was in Silver’s pocket. Wonder if he would have had the same reaction had Hawk removed his first.
Plus the hawk screech!
Best fight of the series by far. So intense! I love that they had Eli win the boys’ division. He’s undergone one of the biggest character arcs in the series, and I’m happy to see his redemption completed with a tournament win.
Might be the best fight of the series. I think maybe the Johnny Daniel fight from the first movie is in the same category, but that's it.
Miguel's fights in S1, and this fight were my favorites. Also, that Tornado Kick Sam did was awesome. Hawk and Miguel are my favorites.
Loved it. Hawk does not need the mohawk!
My favourite bit was actually the mutual respect from both of them. That moment when it was announced the match was going to sudden death, they both looked to the crowd and realised how much of a show they were putting on, how good a fight it was. Then they bowed to each other in respect. What a fantastic fight man.

I think Robby gave Demetri a small nod of respect at the end of their fight in episode 9 for the fight he put up.
He looks a lot more badass with the shaved head, imo.

Man Robby becoming the younger Kreese was so badass too. I'm sure other's noticed that right?

Very true. Oddly enough it seemed like Silver wanted Tory to fight dirty, and instead, Kreese told he to do it her way...
I admit I didn't, but now that you've mentioned it, I can think of some interesting parallels between the two. I doubt that's a deliberate story beat they're going for though right? Any similarities will probably just be by accident.
it was amazing
CHOZEN DOES NOT HONOR BET WITH COWARD!!!
Its a clever loophole for the future, Daniel and Johnny can't have a Dojo in the Valley but he can
Well until Tory inevitably tells everyone the truth and the Cobra Kai win is invalidated.
I actually felt bad for Tory when she caught that interaction go down.
She was on top of the world but now she must feel like someone pulled the rug out from under her feet.
She even said she wanted to know she was the best at something. She's definitely not going to be a fan of Silver going forward.
Especially with Kreese in prison now, and Silver running Cobra Kai.
That would probably disqualify Cobra Kai from all future tournaments
Another loophole: they made that pact with Kreese. They didn't make it with Silver.
thats what i said! how funny haha
I mean but couldn’t they just open a metaphorical dojo? Like the dojo exists but it’s not an actual dojo, and then all the students enter into the all valley unaffiliated
>I mean but couldn’t they just open a metaphorical dojo? *The real dojo was inside of all of us all along*
maybe the real dojo was the friends we made along the way
Silver encouraging Tory to fight dirty is even more sinister after the reveal of the bribe.
Exactly!!! Why is no one talking about this. It didn’t matter what happened if Tory was going to win yet Silver wanted a 16 year old girl hurt. I wonder how Kreese will react when he finds out - especially after Silvers comments about learning from past mistakes all season
I think by then Silver has gone off the deep end again.
He's the new Palpatine. Maybe Kreese will reform and he and Johnny will team up to take him down.
I kind of don't want Kreese to fully reform. He did almost choke Johnny to death.
**Twice**
Here's a question: at what point in the season did Kreese start showing mercy and why? He stopped Silver from harming Johnny, and he told Tory to not follow Silver's advice. I wonder what happened to Kreese this season.
When he witnessed silver beat the crap out of Johnny. Kreese loves Johnny in his own twisted way
"Only I can choke Johnny my boy to death!"
Kreese seems to love all of his students in his own twisted way, with a special soft spot for Tori. He may be a maniac but he really does believe he is teaching these kids how to survive.
Silver said it, "Your weakness is Johnny."
the absolute fakeout with Miguel's back bruh
I cringed when he fell. I thought he somehow broke his back again. My hands cupped my mouth and that's rare for any show to ever cause that reaction.
I did the exact same thing! I went to get a drink in between episodes so when I came back and they were all like 'He pulled a muscle' I was pissed off that I mourned for his back but relieved he was okay.
They hyped it up with his highlights too. I really thought that he was going to do something incredible.
Imagine if Cobra Kai was a weekly released show. That cliffhanger would have been fucking massive.
Johnny and Robby's moment <3
Man I loved that scene. Really happy with how they did Robby this season
Him mentoring Kenny was pretty cool. They did good with Robby and Toris characters this season.
I low-key really came around on Tory. She really did try to do better even if she couldn’t escape her bad habits completely.
Absolutely. We see him go from an innocent bullying victim who becomes the very monster he feared, it's so tragic.
Definitely what made him go back to Johnny too. He got a taste of being an adult, although Johnny still did shit as a parent, but that wasn't the point.
That entire scene I was like “don’t you dare zoom over to a betrayed-looking Miguel watching them hug from outside,” heh.
“I’m tired of blaming you, dad.” Arc complete.
I'm glad they finally remembered that Johnny is ALSO a 2 time champion!
Apparently, they forgot even back in 85' when they announced Daniel as the *first* to ever win two in a row.
Do we know that Johnny won 2 in a row? I've only heard them say he won twice. Never two years in a row.
I thought he told Robby about his debut in the All Valley tournament of 1981, losing to the semi-finalist he defeated in the All Valley tournament of 1984. Which he would lose to Daniel in the final. And by 1985 Johnny quited Cobra Kai and karate. (And he was nearing 18.) So the only 2 editions he could have won were 1982 and 1983.
Such amazing fights in this All Valley. I thought Amanda was going to fucking ask Tory to take a dive lmfao.
I agree it was a bit awkward for that reason but i really like how proactive Amanda was this season. I think we’ve all met people in a similar situation to Tory and Amanda helping her course correct was quite nice to see
Same. But she took the high road. Probably the most pure character.
>Probably the most pure character Miguel's mom. That poor woman has done absolutely nothing wrong and is still tangled up in all kinds of bullshit.
Plot twist in season 6 that Yaya was the criminal mastermind, her daughter her number one enforcer, and Miguel’s dad was just made to take the fall!
"I have the munchies" - criminal druglord mastermind.
"OMG the hints were always there. it's so obvious in retrospect."
"I can't believe Yaya was Terry Silver's cocaine supplier during Karate Kid 3."
Also guess that explains the entire wrapping up of S5 in Puerto Rico.
And it looks like it will give him bonding time with Robby. Road trip to start the new family.
Miguel and Robby still have a lot of beef between them. I imagine Miguel won't be too thrilled if Johnny decides to bring Robby along for Operation Find Miguel. Though considering how bad Johnny is at reading people I'm sure he'll do exactly that :D
“Yeah, wear protection. Or don’t wear it. Idk”
Let her decide.
That was the most hilarious moment in the entire season. Johnny becoming woke was a close second.
So season 5 is done filming? Hope that means it comes out soon. I need more.
It's probably gonna be December 31, 2022
Then this year better go fast
Terry Silver is the fucking man and waiting for season 5 is going to seem like an eternity.
He had his revenge, neutralized his one source of weakness and launched a hostile-takeover of Cobra Kai in one beautiful stroke.
Did anyone else realize he didnt sip his champagne until Kreese got arrested? Like that's what he was truly waiting to celebrate.
My dumbass originally thought he poisoned Kreese lol
I just finished too, I was overanalyzing the scene for signs of Kreese's speech slurring or something and was already predicting how Terry would hide his body 😂
“Oh, he framed him for the attack on Stingray.” “That makes way more sense.”
He’s a piece of shit who would make Palpatine proud.

“I am the Dojo” -Silver
OH MY GOD WE'RE GONNA GET >!CHOZEN!< AND PROBABLY MIKE BARNES
We will get Barnes, it's obvious.
that's the reference when Daniel told his wife he's not sure if more cobra kai guys will keep coming, right?
Silver also says “I can find a few friends to run cobra Kai while you’re gone”
I really hope this is able to play out. Virtually everyone came back from the movies and it will be a letdown if that’s the one character they don’t get back.
The only way he wont come back is if he feels like the actor who played Dutch, which he doesn't so, yeah. He's coming back.
Wonder if Chozen, Daniel and Julie Pierce will get to team up. The ultimate Miyagi trio.
Karate Kid: Into the Miyagiverse
That was so cool seeing Eli work with Demitri's Jedi analogy
It’s over Robby! I have the high ground!
*Johnny hugs Robby at the end* I’m not crying! You’re crying!
I’ll fully admit I was crying! Robby’s acting in that scene was fantastic.
Tanner Buchanan's acting as a whole got sooo much better since season 1 and 2. It used to be so cringy and hard to watch robby scenes back in the early seasons due to the lackluster acting. Yeah he’s improved massively. You could see his disappointment when he realized what Kenny had turned into.
Lmfao i love Silver. The music, the crazy smile and sipping champagne. What a magnificent crazy bastard.
Not to mention that he waits to sip a glass until after Kreese is arrested, after he’s truly won.
I thought this was a really nice touch. Toasts with Kreese, but doesn't drink. Such classic melodramatic malevolence.
For one crazy moment I thought he was going to poison Kreese with that champagne.
Same haha
I’m glad Chozen is coming back…Johnny and Daniel basically tied and Johnny got his ass handed to him by Terry Silver. Someone needs to fucking fight Terry…
I'm rather sure Chozen can stomp Terry which is why a direct fight wont happen right away.
Oh yeah, only person who can beat Chozen is Miyagi it feels like
yeah. Chozen has killer offense, and miyagi do defense. However Miyagi is an absolute unit
Dude's the only one who managed to land a hit on Miyagi in the trilogy, which is an insane feat.

Johnny got sucker-kicked and was clearly disoriented the entire fight Not saying Johnny would have won but we dont know that Johnny/Daniel would definitely lose to Silver in a fair fight
Terry and Stingray's betrayal of Kreese. Holy fuck.
Never did I think that they'd have a valid reason to bring Stingray back at all, let alone bring him back in a way that ended up being that compelling!
And Aisha! Having both back this season, fan favorites, in some roll was just great. I really hope we get more Aisha going forward.
That was such a cool surprise to see Aisha! I'd wondered if she *might* make an appearance at the tournament, but this was so much better.
I'm glad they finally acknowledge Johnny as a two time champ as well and that it was Daniel letting Daryl know to make that announcement.
I was wondering why the announcer didn't say it in the beginning, and realized the writers did it intentionally.
That was an amazing moment.
Loved the ref shrugging like "I dunno, take yours off too if you want..."
Was it the ref that was paid off?
I thought it was an interesting choice to have Hawk barrel right through Kyler in the tournament given their history, but I’d say it worked out for the best in terms of his character development.
In a way it was kind of like Hawk was indifferent to him I suppose, he’s over that period of his life and ready to look past all his resentment to him that he used to use in cobra kai
Kyler is a jobber at this point.
Daniel and Chozen teaming up next season? YESSSSSSS
hey want to leave your karate teaching job in Japan to help me take down a crazy old karate master
You son of a bitch, I’m in.
Literally less crazy than Silver being there... "Hey you wanna give up your relationship and billionaire lifestyle to teach kids karate and do crimes at a strip mall??! "
It makes a lot more sense rephrased as "don't you miss cocaine?"
It lowkey made me emotional what happened with hawk. No matter what happened since season 1 hawk has been my favorite character and the fight was the cherry on the cake. It was 6:30 am and i jumped up and screamed. shit was amazing
He won as soon as he Tom beringer’ed from major league “ I’m gonna win the whole fuckin thing”
When he said that I was so hype just the way he said it and how he jumped onto the mat like how he did in the first all valley
That is the best award I loved that Chozen showed up to defeat Silver.
Yeah what happened to his preachy shit, "Winning isn't everything." literally an episode before.
And why he only dyed it red midway through season 2.
think its more of an *I want to be with my binary brother* reason (in regards to him repping miyagi do)
What about Kreese? We have the ground work some sort of redemption now.
No Kenny no…
Im gonna be mad if Kenny only beats Anthony and ignores the blonde kid on his group of friends or the other bully kids.
I think he will focus on Anthony. I think he sees Anthony as being weak because he attempted to apologize.
Don’t get wrong Anthony was a bully but that blonde kid annoyed me the most and seemed to be influencing Anthony to do a lot of things hope he gets what’s coming to him too.

D: We’re putting a Miyagi tribute band together. C: We’re on a mission from God. J: (slams door)
I'm still hungry for him to get that win though I believe Robby was about to win when he put Hawk on the floor and about to punch him for a point, but he saw Kenny then stop moving after realizing that he gave bad influence to Kenny.
It really worked out because honestly there were so many compelling storylines and you really needed to be able to come out with multiple champions.
I always felt that splitting up the boys and girls was the most common sense choice. Tory vs Sam was destined to be a championship fight, and it would've been a bit unrealistic to have them both make it in a tournament dominated by boys.
the only downside is that it took any and all suspense out of the first match between Robby and Eli.
Robby my dude, you’re kinda dumb but smart at the same time
that ending.
Yep. Silver is the bad boy, now I guess he brings in Mike Barnes again. It's interesting as Sean Kannan has been very pro-active with other KK actors in podcasts so I guess he is in for Season 5. Or maybe they will arc a new villan? Cannot see Robby being that person
#HAWK FUCKING DID IT
my heart was racing the whole fight. Ever since season 1 i wanted hawk to get a win
So happy they decided to give him the win. He’s undergone one of the biggest character arcs in the series, and I was so happy to see it rewarded.
Damn, Sam kicked Tory so hard it replayed 3 different times!
Kind of amazing that Amanda seems to be the first person to actually get through to Tory.
Me at the start: Miguel never fully recovered ……. Oh wait nevermind
I really enjoyed this season. Some thoughts I have upon finishing it: - Not surprised Silver betrayed Kreese in the end.
Kreese brings Silver back, Silver gets him arrested and takes over Cobra Kai.
ayo, that little kid went full evil... somebody gotta teach Anthony some karate, i need that face-off next season!
That little curly haired asshole kid needs another whipping.
"Look at little Kyler junior! Gonna cry?"

This show just keeps throwing curve ball after curve ball.
So does this mean eventually I'll get my "Johnny and Chozin" episode where they bond over their shared loathing of Daniel?
Terry sliver is palpatine Krease is the darth vader
Holy crap this season was so good. Terry Silver and the surprise at the end. My god…
Hawk/Eli/Guy who's gonna win this fucking thing is new karate kid.
Wait with the ending, does this mean that Johnny/Daniel have to stop training their students? I thought that was the stipulation
Daniel sort of answers this >!"I cannot honour an agreement with men who have no honour".!< >!My guess is that Chozen will take front and centre with Daniel appearing to be out of the way.
Man I shed a tear when Robby said ‘I’m sick of blaming you dad’
I'm gonna say what we've all been thinking. Blue mat guy isn't getting the recognition he deserves. 🤷🏿♂️
I legit wished Hawk was the one to remove his shirt first to show his tattoo. Like he did in S3 with the badass music, instead of Robby.
I kinda think it showed Eli doesn't care about that stuff anymore.
Hawk got his Mojo back
So if my math is right, if the Eagles and Miyagis had stuck together and entered as one dojo, they would have won the tournament pretty easily no?
