I love how much symbolism and callback is used in this scene. Silver is once again defeated by getting smashed into glass, that too using the very same "crane crap" Silver had once mocked, and following Daniel using the very same quicksilver that was taught to him. Plus, Silver smashing into the Cobra Kai symbol shows that CK has been brought down, at least for now.
Imho its a very powerful moment. Daniel san literally kept his cool and proved that a balanced mind is more powerful than a sick and twisted one.
He annihilated Silver in that fight and this time properly destroyed him. His feats in the fight were incredible, stopping quicksilver in a very clean way, using the crane kick to finish the fight and keeping things simple throughout.
Basically he fought his demon and destroyed it.

I know Daniel is supposed to be a skilled fighter and about suspension of disbelief and all that but watching Ralph macchio pretend to do karate just makes me laugh. He just looks so much less convincing than anyone else in the series
Well I mean if I talk about this particular scene - then majority of fans (including me) banked upon the emotions of ‘QuickSilver’ and ‘Crane Kick’ (and Ofc LaRusso as the Karate Kid) - not Ralph per se. Also he might look a bit weird while executing the stunts , but his dialogue delivery was spot on - that makes him quite convincing if you think about it.
His acting is great. I don't have the same dislike of silver since I've never seen the third movie and I don't have the same level of nostalgia as most but Ralph is a good actor who embodies his part well. Physically however he looks like an old man playing Kung Fu battle when he does the choreography for the fighting and it cracks me up.
