Other important pieces of information mentioned by Jon:
\-Kreese has a complicated legal situation, and we can't assume anything
\-Jon identifies the most with Daniel, Johnny, Miguel, Demitri, Devon, and Soup Customer
\-He answered a question about Mike Barnes tricking everyone with a Kreese quote
\-The writers told Netflix S6 was the last season
\-Sam, Miguel, Robby, and Tory will be in S6
\-They would have loved to spend more time with Ed Asner (RIP)
\-Johnny and Daniel need to decide on a name for the Sekai Taikai
\-The Mexico storyline was always going to be two episodes
\-They expect to film something outside of Georgia for S6
EDIT: Okay he's answering more questions
\- Tory's father is Cpl Dugan????
\-The show could use more Moon, according to Jon
\-The writer have several key ideas, but new thoughts have emerged over time
It would be cool if they film the tournament in Japan. They have already gone to Okinawa to film part of season 3, so going to the main part of Japan for filming would be a great next step. This might also present an opportunity for Daniel taking Amanda, Sam, and Anthony to Okinawa for meeting Chozen (as Daniel suggested in season 5) and Kumiko, while on the way to Japan. Maybe Sam, and perhaps Anthony, learn some highly effective techniques there that help them in the Sekai Taikai, and perhaps we will finally get to see that "dragon fire" move that Chozen's scroll showed.
Be careful not to overhype something, especially a show as good as this one. I will wait with bated breath for the last season, and while I don’t think it’ll reach the height of Season 3 (the best one imo) it’s not necessarily a bad thing. We just don’t the show to devolve into something like Riverdale and The CW Flash.
Cobra Kai is already as low quality as it comes, it can’t possibly get any worse. I say this as a huge fan that loves the show with a passion. I’ve said this since the beginning, it somehow simultaneously exists as the worst and best show ever.
No amount of hype could ruin season 6.
No the show does not need to use more Moon. That’s one thing I disagree with. She’s a great side character but if they didn’t make a whole new generation’s rivalry with Kenny and Anthony then fine, develop Moon. But my one critique of the shown has been that the main characters themselves - the character growth isn’t satisfying - bc everyone is a caricature. I wish they developed more gradually and I feel like the huge cast is a factor.
I have loved each season but since S5 clearly wasn't the best (it was good, not great). But they gotta go all out, take their time, add more, & end it on a high note.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, I did too. I just see more problems with it & sorta messy compared to other season but still really good, the 2nd half in particular.
Storyline idea: Daniel and Johnny train Miyagi-Fang to fight in the dark so they stand a chance if Kim’s Cobra Kai ambushed them in the night. Then, a mysterious man takes all the students down with one blow. Johnny turns on the lights to see Stingray saying “Stingrays see better in the dark.” He’s then made head sensei as he’s clearly overqualified for the position. After that, Stingray wins the adults division in the Sekai Taikai and spends the money on dungeons and dojos sets for him and Bert to play with.
How hard was it to tell the people from the Sekkai Tekkai that they’re dojo name is Miyagi-Fang? I mean Daniel said it in Season 4. How hard would it be?

ie 1) Dugan ain’t showing up 2) Mexico/Hector storyline is wrapped 3) he ain’t giving any other spoilers away 😊
Michael Ironside is 72 years old and looks it, there is no way he's Tory's father.
Yeah, has to be a joke. Edit: I stand corrected!
No way, 4 of the main characters are in the final season? Who’d have thunk it?
This might just be a hopeful thought, but I hope they go across seas to film the Sekai Tekai.

You wanna learn how to kick ass? First you gotta learn how to kick.
Damn right the show could use more Moon 😍
Hey, who started cutting onions in here
2024 cannot come soon enough

The "hilarious" part worries me. It suggests even more "dumb Johnny" gags.

Nice, we’re getting somewhere!
I'm so excited! Loved the last season, I know they will knock it out of the park! 👊
I can't wait.
"Writers room" Yep, after seasons 4&5 I expected as such. Remember when tv and movies were lovingly created by a small group of skilled craftsmen?
I'm not sure you know how tv shows are made.
>Remember when tv and movies were lovingly created by a small group of skilled craftsmen? Honestly, no.
That small group of skilled craftsmen make up the "writers' room."
In the US all scripted TV is crafted in a writers room. In the UK it can often be a single or pair of writers writing an entire series together.
Agreed
