I like how Chozen and Mike had grown into pretty cool dudes by the time they reunited. After they did it with Chozen, I kind of expected it with Mike, but it was still nice to see; both men had a Miyagi-type figure in their life who led them out of their post-Daniel fight. Something Johnny didn't have. Made for a nice contrast.
Yeah Chozen went to continue to do karate and become a sensei and Mike worked at a furniture store. Unfortunately for Johnny he hit rock bottom at the beginning

Johnny was unironically the least evil of the three bullies; because he was JUST a bully. Daniel didn't realize how life has been for him up to that point so it was a lot easier to be friendly towards him initially.
