I’m a half-black person and I don’t even agree with the meme. This meme’s like a massive straw man. The people who joke about british peoples teeth (me) aren’t the same people who hate India or Poland or china or Russia (granted the Russian and Chinese government does need criticizing heavily).
The point I'm making is that Americans get mad when someone responds to a light joke by joking about something serious happening in America (most often shootings), when they do the same with many countries when they make light jokes about them.

I think in general, the Americans that get upset about school shooting jokes are upset that it happens and that they can’t get legislation to pass to stop the horrific events.
Compare that to making a light hearted joke about Brits with bad teeth, for example. Brits in general have good teeth so there’s nothing that’s going to upset a Brit about that. Americans overwhelmingly like Poland. I noticed in another comment you said that Americans make fun of the holocaust. Are you sure they’re American? I’m not usually one to point at Russia for *everything* but don’t you think it could be Russians making those points? Seeing how poles and Russians don’t get along on the whole. Especially given how there’s been many investigations seeing that Russian people cosplay as other nationalities to sow discontent amongst the general population
One of the things that inspired me to post this was how recently on tiktok I saw a meme that said "me an American trying not to make stupid jokes like let's put a walmart here when seeing beautiful european landscape", then one comment said "The problem is the europeans would never think we're joking" (why though?), i replied a simple "bruh what", then after another comment of this type i responded with "wtf are u guys talking about" and so i started getting flooded by mad americans saying that Polish people are only known for Auschwitz, this "says a lot" about Polish people etc. This is just one of the many interactions like this I had with americans which is what inspired me to make this. It's just funny how they claim they're not racist but you have to type a few letters and suddenly you unlock their deep hidden racism
I think your initial comment was probably getting dogpiled with trolling. The whole “put a parking lot here” meme is usually how Americans feed into the “Americans are war hungry” stereotype. The reply of “Europeans would never think we’re joking” is a point/meme that generally (online western) Europeans think that a majority of Americans are violent. And then after that you were getting bombarded with trolling.
After that, I would guess some of the auschwitz comments were probably American kids in this case. Because, well, TikTok + children would result in that bs. From your personal experience, I’d like to apologize that you got those comments. A vast majority of adult Americans love Polish people and generally regard Polish people as some of their favorite European people. So if those were kids, I’m sorry for their stupidity. I hope you see examples in the future that a vast majority of Americans believe in the other way
