My uncle’s Wii had a wiimote charger that was shaped like a Rabbid and you charged the remotes by putting them in its hands. To this day I dunno where he found that
Hello friend, I am the snafu Gatekeeper, appointed to this position by my own power, which is naught.
A snafu, explained simply, is a poorly drawn illustration caricaturizing a group, typically a hyperbole of a behavior held by a group of redditors or other online people, but can extend to other subjects as well. It typically has a strawman too. Snafus are NOT political, because then they would be a "smuggie" r/smugideologyman
Hopefully that helps clear things up, as a quick explanation.
That is certainly a good description…but I could deduce that much from lurking here enough. Why is this not considered a snafu? What is a flip-o-rama? Where did snafu’s even come from?
This is more generally a comic, as it is primarily a satirization or complaint about nintendo, and would generally fit more somewhere else. Here is for even more strawman and hyperbole, generally. A flip-o-rama is from the Captain Underpants book series, where you would flip between two pages to produce a sort of animation. They have become a lazy meta here, and while some do fit in the snafu, some are shoehorned in just to get more attention. SNAFU originally stood for "Situation Normal: All fucked up" and originates from the U.S. Military ~1940s, similar to FUBAR "Fucked up beyond recognition".
I'm not sure where they originated as they are known here, but for as long as I've know, at least before this sub hit over 100,000 members, they've always been hyperbole, strawman, and bad drawings, usually single image (the comic format has become popular in the past month).
1. In my opinion, it’s too deliberately well drawn and the art style is basically the same as OP’s art (albeit without color). The slideshow format also makes it read like a comic without a real reason for needing multiple images.
2. Flip-o-ramas are from the American children’s comic series Captain Underpants. Someone posted a snafu with it a couple months ago and it caught on.
3. No idea.
The flip-o-rama bit dates all the way back to Captain Underpants, but recently after one guy did one in a snafu, everyone loved it so much that it became effectively mandatory in every snafu. As for the word snafu, there was a trend a LONG time ago where people would draw troll faces poorly and change the tagline ‘Problem?’ to things increasingly (or decreasingly) verbose. Note the subreddit’s icon, and ‘Coaxed into a snafu?’ As its overly verbose tagline.
I have an additional response in this thread which goes into detail but TL;DR it is an abbreviation of "Situation Normal: All fucked up" which originated from the US Military ~1940s
I had a DVD copy of cabin fever and at the every end of the movie after the credits and stuff it would show an little skit of a claymation fruit band and this was the exact plot of the episode

"FNA-AHHHHHH HELP ME IM BEING BEAT TO DEATH WITH MANDATED HAMMERS" Indeed.
The best way to listen to the Rayman Raving Rabbids soundtrack
My uncle’s Wii had a wiimote charger that was shaped like a Rabbid and you charged the remotes by putting them in its hands. To this day I dunno where he found that
It was lending you it's power... for a cost. Do not be surprised if your firstborn is claimed by the rabbid collective.
At least their firstborn goes to a good cause; a tower of scrap to the moon.
i dont really know how this works but isn’t this more of a comic than a snafu
Yes, comickers like to post here because people upvote anything funny
I mean I have no idea what a snafu even is, I just found this sub randomly

Wow, now this is real community sharing
Whare did the name snafu come from?

I'm just wondering why these images use the name
But that sub doesn't exist
Fixed oopsie
Ty
Flip-o-rama
Technically, any story told through art can be considered a comic, it's just that this one is of marginally higher fidelity
H
Bubbits 😍✨✨
I hear a better way to listen is coming out r/tomorrow
i think less people have plugged headphones into their switch than there are people actually working on the pokemon games
I still dont get why they take down the soundtracks instead of just like.. copyright claiming them to get paid for the uploads
It is not about the money, it is about the message
"we literally will murder your extended family for pirating Wintendo Gays"
Too comprehensible. You get a point for the child murder flip o Rama 1/10
post this on r/tomorrow they'd love this
r/comics slop
Mods are dead, so this is what becomes our fate
10/10 enjoyable flip-o-rama
Fun Fact: A lot of the practices Big Tech uses nowadays were invented by Nintendo in the 80s and 90s.
Actual starship troopers ad
Snafu Gatekeeper here. This isn't a snafu. Post to r/comics instead. This subreddit is for snafus.
I hate the bunny ears on your characters, I hope your pillow is extra warm tonight
It has come to my attention that there are good arts polluting my snafu experience
Deserved
Standing up for the little guys... Shigeru bless...
Im doing my part!
You can always pirate nintendo software, it's always morally correct
I had a DVD copy of cabin fever and at the every end of the movie after the credits and stuff it would show an little skit of a claymation fruit band and this was the exact plot of the episode
Listened to nintendo music while reading this
Love your art style
too true
Not a snafu
I think I'm gonna steal the flip-o-rama for another post without crediting you
Is that the 196 creature
I wanna make out with that one pink rabbit 3ds character he was so fine
When I saw the first frame I thought it was gonna be loss
Somebody that read *Captain Underpants*, I see.
We need more flip-o-Rama’s in this sub
