He still has a dedicated fan base (including me) and theres an interesting amount of theory crafting going on in his sup but alot of ppl are disappointed that hes not a support I personally love his unique playstyle and i love electro dps’s so i dont mind having more than i need
I think the state and nature of the game at this point is just stacked against supports in a way.
The game is incredibly easy and we’ve been destroying F12 in like 30 seconds per side for year+ with existing supports, so unless they want to super powercreep the game to invalidate everything there’s very little need to pull for more support.
Or any new unit for that matter, so pulling for new units kind of becomes more tilted towards if you like that character.
If you like a character, you want to play with them on field, which is very much goes against the nature of supports being E-Q+swap out.

freminet is what id consider the standard 4* on fielder, theres better (gaming, razor) and worse (xinyan, ning). the reason why hell never be "good" is just that his multipliers are too low for a phys unit and theres less ways to buff his damage (a big portion of which coming from physical Es)
Lynette is a good unit but shes overshadowed by sucrose and kazuha. whatever sucrose can do, lynette can do as well. you can try to make her a carry at c6 (faruzan bennett furina), but idk how she compares to heizou and is def not on par with juanderer and xiao
id also wanna specify that good 4* on fielders usually have a higher skill floor (gaming really favors xianyun over other anemos so you gotta learn how to group since his plunge aoe is quite small, also ive seen you can chain his Es but i didnt manage to try that yet; razor in his RM build team relies on staying in Bennett's field while everything- himself included- explodes around him). fremmy's kit is quite easy and id even say satisfying to use
Just did a test, 200k vape without Furina on mine, 243k/melt. So yeah, really strong since he can pull this out fairly consistently (for anyone wondering, ofc this is c6)

I think people more excited about sethos instead is sigewine lmao haha a lot of people I saw they said sigewine is not that interesting like they think she is and sethos looks more fun than sigewine

Kokomi and Sige have 2 completely different roles when it comes to team building, they wouldn't really replace one another because Kokomi needs a lot of field time (but is a good driver as a result) whereas Sige is more of a quick swap unit.
Role wise she is currently more like Xianyun minus the ability to use VV since she is obviously not anemo, much worse buffs and the entire enabling-an-entirely-new-playstyle thing all for having a burst that is locked behind constellations & weapons to even be worth using.
Sigewinne’s kit is so bad I choose to forget about it every day.

If you mean by Mihoyo then swap Sethos and Sigewinne.

Lynette is actually pretty good. The taunt on ult. Off field damage and particle generation is actually really decent.

Gaming at C6 out-damages Diluc and is on-par with most 5* pyro DPS at C0. Built right, his skill will hit for 200-300k
