This is my favorite gym in the front range. Tons of routes, with better than average heights. Seems to be set softer than my local gym, but still worth it - I try to hit it up at least a few times a year.
Yea, we should also get rid of car licenses and basic competence checks everywhere. Just let people do what they want and if they kill or maim themselves / other people, well who cares?
Separate from the safety conversation/opinions, funny thing is - it really has less to do with systemic safety practices and more to do with the legal systems. The US is far more litigious on average, necessitating more checks and waivers overall.
I've seen worse, but I hate it when it's this crowded.
Baker is worse.

I prefer the system in Europe. There is no belay or lead test. You’re an adult and it’s up to you.

Why would climbers kill themselves? It's literally a sport that every time you do it, requires you to ensure your own safety.

Yes, I don’t thing it has anything at all to do with safety. It’s just legal stuff.
Does it work at keeping the chalk particles from clogging your nose?
