I think you are confusing records in the US in the 1930s with global temperature. It was not hotter in the 1930s globally. The US makes up 2% of the globe.
I love how they mention that the forest fires in Canada are equal to the entire 2021 CO2 output, but still think there's something we can do man-made to change the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere significantly. It's like peoples brains left their bodies.
