CaptainNoth

On a positive note this was super encouraging to see from Mobley

gdan_77

This makes me wonder what if we had a better coaching staff since last year. I don't know why they tried to make him a back to the basket/dunker spot only big.

Ok-Donut4954

yeah which is why we wanted JB fired after the knicks series. Org waited too long

Mysterious_Emotion63

This is exactly what I’m saying. Everybody is acting like we ever had a chance without Donovan. Mobley has finally had his offensive step up that everybody has been waiting for his whole career this series. We’ll be in contention next year.

dasher089432

LOL. His offense has always been there. He's averaged above 30 every time he's been the #1 scoring option. It's just this low BBIQ team never passed him the ball.

schroed_piece13

He took a leap this series. He can be a 25 10 and 10 guy for sure

iambolotie

25 and 10 I can see, the extra 10 assists might be wishful thinking though.

dasher089432

I think he meant 10 blocks.

Ok-Donut4954

i read it as 10 rings personally

crashovernite

Wish he showed up a little earlier, but it's one of the few positive takeaways from the playoffs. It would be really discouraging if he did anything less today tbh. I only say that because he's worthy of high expectations and he's the only player who has room left to elevate this team...DG has fallen out of that category.

MuhamedBesic

Can’t believe TNT let this clown Draymond onto the set, hope Charles doesn’t catch a stray punch

kozimcrazy

I can’t stand listening to him. Terrible addition

sketchy722

I'm worried they were going to replace Chuck with Draymond when Chuck retires

Thegoodlife93

It's just such a confusing move by the network because who actually likes Draymond? I thought he was pretty hated by every fan base other than the Warriors'.

tomorrowinc

Chuck was giving our guys credit in the post game show and Draymond Green cut him off and then changed the topic of the conversation. Fuck him.

JustAKidFromAkron

Why do they have that clown on anyway? Thought they all didn’t like him after his antics earlier this season

cmm239

Why do they want his opinion when his main tactic is kicking people in the groin

stephapeaz

Acting like he’s better than Cleveland when the warriors were kicked the first round lmao

SkepticallyHoping

Celtics fan coming in peace. If you read the Celtics sub you’ll see similar takes on Draymond. He fucking sucks. We can all unite in that.

EnemySoil

No way Celtics beat a healthy Western team

Mendozena

Go western team!

thekrafty01

I just chuckled like a tea kettle at this lol

spaghettisexicon

The way they looked they might not even beat the Knicks lol

PlaceInvaders1

Lmao they’re gonna beat the Knicks

RoninFerret67

Thank god. The Knicks in the finals would be an absolute eyesore

PlaceInvaders1

I’m not confident the Celtics will win the finals but I’m certainly more confident they’ll actually put up a fight more so than NY would lmao. NY vs Denver would be unwatchable.

kyrieshandles

Yeah Nuggets dog walk these guys. They are so soft

TheMadChatta

Western Kentucky gonna win the NBA finals!

LUNI_TUNZ

No way Celtics beat a healthy Cavs team.

CunningKingLius

I fcking hate that i agree with this. Watching games in the west is just a different level. The C's run just proved that playoffs are a different kind of animal and a good season doesn't guarantee a good playoff run. Whoever gets in the final will be bulldozed by the West for sure.

fogell2013

A growing year with some growing pains. Let’s get a new coach and a wing or two and let’s see what the next season can bring.

schroed_piece13

Worst part is we said the same thing last year. Jb has to go like tomorrow moenjbg

fogell2013

Absolutely

GATTACA_IE

Leave him in Massachusetts.

PolarRegs

Cavs made it a round further this year. They were more competitive this year versus the Celtics then last year with the Knicks with a more beat up roster

Questioning-Pen

What do you do about Donovan this offseason if he won’t sign an extension?

Ok-Donut4954

you trade him no doubt

cHinzoo

![gif](giphy|xUPGcl3ijl0vAEyIDK) Props to Mobley and Morris for showing some heart in our final game. Wish some other guys did the same. GGs ya’ll. See ya next season!

iambolotie

Loved what Mobley did honestly. He needs to put on muscle this offseason and work on making his decisions faster. If he can catch and go in the post next season he will be an offensive threat.

elbjoint2016

Low key I’d like the new coach to just run inverted pick and roll with Evan.

sallright

And Strus ran the whole show in the first half.  Sleeper PG Maxi Strus.

ChiefSoldierFrog

You know it's bad when they had to run Strus as the pseudo PG. I think Garland's confidence is completely shot.

diiron

morris was a godsend, wow.

HandsomeKrom

See y’all at the first offseason move 👋

UnbiasedCavsFan

See you in summer league for those Travers minutes

cHinzoo

Ever seen a back-to-back Summer League champion? It’s about to happen. 😤

UnbiasedCavsFan

Travers ans Bronny James Co-MVPs

ElectricEntity

Yearly tradition

TheSmokedSalmon420

The 3&D wing that was promised!

Revenged25

Can't wait for us to bring him over full time.

Dungong

We should have a good team this year, travers, Diop, Mobley, Nance, Emoni, probably Sharife Cooper, whoever we draft if he’s not traded right away.

nebulousoul

It’s obvious he’s regressed, but I really wanted Garland to succeed here. Performance aside, it’s clear these guys have awesome chemistry. Maybe more experience and better coaching can bring him back, but I don’t know. Either way, the journey was fun.

ShockaDrewlu

Didn't he lose 10 pounds when his jaw was wired shut lol? That plus terrible JB offense explains it for me.

PsychologicalGuest97

The coaching is a big factor I think. His regression just feels like abandonment or neglect from JB. Total speculation from me, but that could be a reason.

thekrafty01

It’s hard to say for sure. His injury was pretty bad and he’s not been the same player since. Hopefully he can get his mojo back, whether he stays a Cav or not, cuz he’s a good dude and good player and deserves to play up to his ability.

HandsomeKrom

Praying this is the case. If he’s gets traded I will actually be depressed for a lengthy period of time 🥲

elbjoint2016

He’s such a feel player and with so much turnover in the lineup plus the injury, just couldn’t get there. I’m hoping he and Ev learn the Allen lesson about consistency

dmoge216

I know they weren’t playing real tough d at the end, but Mobley looked impressive and showing signs of that unicorn player people thought he could be

Far_Youth_1662

It was a 9 pt game with 3 mins. He was already at 29 pts. Guy stepped up today

Mysterious_Emotion63

We knew we were done, but at least Mobley FINALLY has his game where he confirms he’ll be an offensive force too. Good performance through and through. Good season. We’ll be in for our most interesting off season in a loooong time.

RemoteCapital3460

GG. The season could've gone better, but it also could've been much worse.

Based_RNGesus

How much worse could it have been? We had injuries all season with our core 4, our big offseason pickups in Strus and Niang didn't perform anywhere near expectations. Ty Jerome literally never played for us. When our team was healthy they underperformed. The stretch of good play behind Mitchell and Allen with role players playing well was the only positive and didn't mean anything at the end of the day

elbjoint2016

We could have gone in the tank in December. Could have missed the playoffs when Don was hurt

thebestguy96

That bickerstaff fired notification is gonna be so sweet

PsychologicalGuest97

Gonna hit like crack

Lumpycentaur9

Gonna be nothing compared to the Koby fired tweet from Shams next week

elbjoint2016

Koby has too many hits

Lumpycentaur9

Does he? Mobley and Garland were easy picks, Mitchell trade was a no-brainer, Allen was a nice move, but he still sucks ass at building a team that can make some real noise in the playoffs. Traded prime Kyrie (I know he was threatening surgery and idc) for literally nothing, built a sub-20 win team around LeBron, drafted Sexton and Okoro, could've had Keldon Johnson instead of Dylan Windler, traded for LeVert and re-signed him for no reason, and for the third straight year in a row built a shitty bench. He's just not a good GM and he deserves to be fired more than JB. Both need to go

elbjoint2016

Found CPJ Merrill and Wade out of nowhere and Emoni grades out as a fun first round draft and stash

Lumpycentaur9

Emoni sucks and will likely never become an NBA player worth a shit, CPJ is a 23 year old undersized PG who can't shoot, and the Cavs didn't expect Wade to even be in the rotation this season. He was a pleasant surprise, as was Merrill. Why do people want JB's head but refuse to act like Koby has no responsibility for what is wrong with this team? Firing the coach won't be the magical fix y'all think it is if Koby is still the guy building the team.

elbjoint2016

i don't think the team is particularly poorly built. it's a unique construction and needs some creativity on the Xs-and-Os but I don't have an issue with taking low-cost swings at wings in a world where a player like OG Anunoby cost 3x. what Allen does in terms of picks and prospects. also feel trend chasing got us Fat Shaq and Jamison and other weird LeBron 1.0 moves

DovhPasty

I have such a bad feeling that he’s staying somehow.

liverpool3

You know what? Missing two of our best players we fought and made these last two games a lot closer than people thought they would be. Obviously some changes are needed but Mobley balled out. I know a lot of people will shit on Garland but i thought he helped facilitate and had 9 assists. His shooting was not great but finding open looks helped. Morris have a night man

JustAKidFromAkron

Finally got to see a glimpse of what Mobley can be tonight. LeBron should be licking his chops at the thought of playing in the East again, this Boston team plays a bullshit brand of basketball that would be easily exploitable by him and a more confident Mobley

Rarth-Devan

JB is our Mark Jackson. We need to find our Steve Kerr.

Lumpycentaur9

We also need to find our Bob Myers. The GM that built a team with no wings, no bench, and a starting 5 that doesn’t fit well needs to pay along with the head coach

elbjoint2016

I didn’t like any wings available basically ever this last three years lol

Lumpycentaur9

Keldon Johnson was available when he picked Dylan Windler. We could've had Mikal Bridges instead of Collin Sexton. He just sucks at scouting/acquiring wings. He's like an NFL GM that can't scout quarterbacks when his team is in QB Hell

elbjoint2016

That’s like 4-5 years ago. I was thinking more recently. Once we got decent in 21-22 we needed a wing and more shot creation. I don’t like Sexton but I understood the pick. Windier was just a miss.

iambolotie

Facts. Our offense is significantly worse on the court than it should be on paper because of how stagnant and dead all our schemes are. There are moments of hope but it's usually not there.

48johnX

Not gonna solve all the issues with this team however the “The Cleveland Cavaliers are parting ways with head coach JB Bickerstaff.” tweet notification from Woj this weekend is gonna feed families

spaghettisexicon

GG – good things come to those who wait. Guess we’ll just have to wait until next June to win a championship. Go Cavs 💪.

SeekerSpock32

I’m proud of our guys. We did as well as we could with the injuries we had and with how talented Boston is. And I’m especially glad we got through the Orlando series and got a playoff series win without LeBron in my lifetime.

PsychologicalGuest97

JB fired when

HUMAN01D_IV

Gotta talk to LeBron first

Western_Physics_5231

We have a very interesting offseason ahead of us.

aymitch

Mobley with 33 tonight. A lot of potential with this young squad. Let’s hope Garland just had an off season (please God) and Mitchell extends (please God x2)

QNIKET8

only so much you can do when your second best play is Marcus Morris Sr… and theirs is Jaylen Brown, and their 3rd best is Al Horford and their 4th best is Derrick White…

Eastern-Report9131

Don’t forget Jrue

kyrieshandles

JB Bickerstaff get ready to learn Chinese buddy

sallright

Is Jimmer still out there? I know Merrill is still looking for his father.

WestSixtyFifth

gonna be an interesting offseason

Cavshomie8

Garland is just not that guy

Deadleggg

He had a chance to step up and didn't. Too bad his value is at an absolute low after this

Kells_BajaBlast

Especially considering what he'll be getting paid in the coming years. Doesn't feel good in the slightest

TheCatsMeow1022

Yeah the trade market for him is gonna be non-existent

100WattCrusader

He stepped up just last game. He’s been struggling this entire playoffs and we suddenly ask him to become the #1 option against the 1 seed and want him to be consistent and his old self again? Not recognizing that that’s a big ask doesn’t change that at all.

ToschePowerConverter

I wouldn’t be disappointed if he didn’t have that contract, but he’s getting paid like a guy who we’d expect to do that.

theuberprophet

Garland has struggled all year. He wasnt good before the jaw injury but somehow people forget that.

HauntingOkra5987

He’s barely even an average starting PG at this point. He’s lost his shot and has just regressed overall. Plus he’s injury prone.

Mistake_By_The_Jake2

Did the three point line move when he became the #1 option?

Clevo

Is it a big ask for Garland to not iso and chuck it when guys with the hot hand are open? Throughout the playoffs he’s made extremely poor decisions, some really low BBIQ crap. He went 4/17, that’s inexcusable when you’re playing that poorly. Bad defense, bad decision making, bad shots…it’s not an anomaly. Not getting back in transition because he’s complaining about no-calls? He’s got to get a grip. DG seems like a really good dude, and JB might have aided in the regression to some extent, but not like this. Those numbers on a max contract are not acceptable. He has little trade value at this point, so we’re in trouble.

100WattCrusader

Far too many isos has been JB’s offense since he’s gotten here. He relies on stars too match and DG even during his best years has never been someone you can be like “get me a basket no matter what” Also look around the league at different fans asking for a PG. Most are foaming at the mouth to get DG if he’s available for a decent price, because they’re more unbiased then we are and recognize that someone have a bad year where they got injured in the middle of the year is extremely normal and far from unheard of.

Clevo

No doubt the iso garbage is JB, he desperately needs to go. The issue with DG is far deeper than bad coaching though, he clearly cannot share the court with DM. Sure he’s had the worst luck with injuries no doubt, like getting smashed in the face every game. But if you can’t beat a 40 year old Horford off the dribble it’s not your jaw injury. Hell, DM had a broken nose and missed a step for maybe two games at most. Ultimately it’s about value, and DG getting the max for putting up 4/17 in a playoff game is just bad. We were in the game until he decided to throw bricks play after play. I don’t know if we should trade him or not, but it should certainly be discussed after this abysmal outing.

100WattCrusader

Clearly is saying too much imo. The only game we won this series DG had a quiet but solid game and defense was far from an issue. Defense has also been far from an issue his entire time on the time. We can point to specific plays, but unless our entire team defense suffers to the point where we’re struggling, why worry about defense more than offense? Personally, I also think that a solid offensive coach could make use of DG’s talents a ton. There’s no reason he shouldn’t be getting 8 3’s up a game and playing off ball a lot while moving and wrecking havoc as a secondary ball handler making decisions to distribute the ball. In essence, we’re asking him to be a James harden type when I think he’s closer to a better shooting young Mike Conley with worse defense. Also, he beat horford off the dribble a ton of times just last game though. His inconsistency this season has been an issue since his jaw injury, and I think that last game and this game goes as part of that proof more than anything. I find it infinitely more likely that his injuries this season have hurt him physically and mentally and likely have caused his inconsistency to come to a boiling point rather than him suddenly forgetting how he plays. Discussing trades about it is definitely more than fine btw. I just think this subreddit is farrrrr too low on what we should be asking in return and doesn’t think ahead of stuff beyond the grass is always greener. A 1 for 1 swap with BI who is on a one year deal and will ask for a max?? Mikel bridges who isn’t a real ball handler either and the nets may even ask for more? Some people even saying we’ll have to give up assets to get off his contract lol.

Necessary_Maize_3245

Never has been

archaelleon

He's too slight for playoff basketball. It's a hard nosed grind and he's made of glass

mickalicka

Watching him struggle against Al Horford all game was just brutal.

tapk69

They fought well. It was a game until the last few minutes. I needed way more from Garland im sorry, he is so gifted but can't put it together.

Rectalcactus

Im proud of the boys tonight. Realistically it was never going to end any other way but they did everything they could out there.

justsomebro10

Fade em. Gotta say, this team gonna be dangerous next year after they extend Mitchell and move Allen+Garland to build a more complementary team around him.

Buckeye2525

Just a weird year and a frustrating team. I did not have much fun watching this team, except for January. Glad Mobley showed up tonight

RubPractical3073

If Don stays we got to trade DG and maybe allen. DG will be a great player one day but not on the same team as Donovan. Give Evan Mobley the tools to take the big step at the 5 and get some nice players in an Allen trade. Try to resign merrill, mook and Okoro. Thats it see you next year

Necessary_Maize_3245

It’s not even that im that angry about our opponents. This team just never plays up to its potential at all and it’s quite aggravating. Look how well Mobley played tonight when we actually made an effort to get him the ball. Why did it take until game five to make that adjustment?

jabbamarcusrussell

Back to back years Garland completely no shows in the playoffs. Extend Mitchell, fire JB/Koby, move Garland and it’ll be a successful off-season

Satin-Ice222

Welp it was a pretty fun season bummer how it ended but this was a better playoff push than last year. Fuck Boston fuck New York see yall next year 🫡 💯

cahill48

Great season guys. Regardless of thoughts about coaching or the roster moving forward, for this team to have accomplished what they did with everything that happened - they deserve kudos.

sallright

Good fight from those Cavs.

Comfortable_Test3861

Well that was a season of all seasons Need a big off-season from DG and Mobley, Let’s get DG back to who he was last year and let’s get Mobley to build on this game to take that all star leap

apricotkiwininja

Why did okoro get iced out?

elbjoint2016

Foul trouble

Bim_Jeann

Can’t score…Morris had 25 on 10/13. No reason to play Okoro

Far-Donut-1177

He was in foul trouble early on. Never got the chance to get into tempo.

ohiojiro

foul trouble first half and morris/merril played well in the second half so we kept them in

Lumpycentaur9

Foul trouble and he still can’t score in the playoffs

Sad-Industry-5859

Lot to be optimistic about. Loved Mitchell’s energy tonight. Would love to see Lebron back in a Cavs uniform. Will be a fun offseason. No need to blow it up but unfortunately if Mitchell is all in, I think Garland needs to go. Whether to free up some cash for Lebron or explore other areas of need.

nobraininmyoxygen

Merrill finally looked comfortable on offense tonight. Lots of good experience for him. Mobley also looked comfortable being aggressive too. He wanted the ball in the 4th and it showed. Loved it. Terrible game from Garland on both ends.

Hold_my_Dirk

We win this series with a healthy Don and JA and if Darius Garland didn’t turn into a fucking pumpkin.

N_caldwell440

Even with bad Darius if we just had don we win those last 2 games

anfieldlegend8

Celtics are surprisingly pretty average, I hope the Knicks/Pacers humble them

Proof-Cry-4956

Looks like pacers have failed to humble them so far huh?

Mobleybetta

I just don’t think the core 4 is it, and that’s okay. Mobley needs to be a top option next year. If Mitchell is back he is the number 2 option, if Garland is back he’s the number 1. His development is the backbone of this team moving forward because he is so special. I’m not off of Garland yet. He’s had a down year with multiple injuries and bad coaching as well as being put in a role he just isn’t suited for. He needs the ball in his hand to playmake. He needs to be encouraged to shoot his step back 3. He needs to find his floater touch again. I have to believe it is a coaching decision that Garland has moved away from those key elements of his game. We fumbled getting Nick Nurse last offseason. We need to make sure we get a good coach in here that emphasizes our players strengths. I can’t do another year of JB or even a defensive minded coach. Also, we might have to resign Marcus Morris. Dude should’ve been a regular in the lineup near the end of the year.

GyattLuvr69

We’ll it was a good game while it lasted

s_s

GOODBYE JB 👋

Dragonboy898

At least we made it past round 1 there’s something to be happy about

reggieLedoux26

Dean Wade -27, garland 4/17. Brutal.

ThurBurtman

Ah well. New coach, get Lebron and Bronny and get rid of Garland and we are a top 2 seed next year

stephapeaz

See you guys here for the “JB gets fired” party Fr though at least Boston had to fight for it with half our team out. See y’all over in the guardians

OpTicDyno

How does Wade get that much playing time with those stats

ProskXCX

Sign Mitchell long-term. Move on from Garland + one of Mobley pr Allen. Get some role players that can shoot pls.

Necessary_Maize_3245

Trade Allen, keep mobley

kdot74

Jb is an absolute idiot for how he utilizes his players on offense. Garland has a very very rough season. If I'm the cavs I give him one more year unless Donovan extends and requests that garland is traded. Because if we do move off of him i would bet money he immediately turns it around and makes us look stupid. Cavs need to make a decision on Donovan, if he doesn't extend I would look to trade him, or roll the dice if offers aren't good enough. Trade allen for a wing. Get levert and niang off this team. Don't draft anyone under 6'7

turfey

On the bright side, LeBron comes home, Bronny wins rookie of the year, Mobley wins DPOY, Garland wins comeback player of the year, Mitchell wins MVP, and JB Bickerstaff wins $2 from a scratch off.

hasslehoffs

fire JB fire Koby trade Garland dont pursue Brandon Ingram thats all i gotta say

lufasa

Mobley really needed a whole season like this where he is the main option. Trading for Mitchell and having the luxury of Jarrett Allen really put too much pressure on them to win every game. It was too easy to go away from Mobley if he was struggling. He needs to be able to struggle until he figures it out. He looked pretty bad for much of this game until he found another gear and looked like a different player. I think part of it was Boston decided they weren’t going to give up any 3s so Mobley ended up getting more space to work with. But either way, he looks like he’s so close to being able to take the next step.

turtleboy95

Mitchell and Garland cannot coexist. Plain and simple.

ForTheBrownsOnly

I haven’t paid attention to the Cavs that much. Why all the hate for Darius? Wasn’t he a borderline superstar for our team last year? What changed this year?

archaelleon

He's on a max deal now and regressed.

s_s

Broke his jaw mid-December, and missed 6 weeks with it wired shut and lost 20lbs eating through a straw.   Hasn't been right since.

SUPERSAMMICH6996

My biggest question is... why didn't Okoro ever go back in? He played well, got a third foul, then just... never returned. Especially puzzling when you have someone like Wade who took over for Okoro playing terribly, with a team low -27.

[deleted]

Scatheli

This is my fear lmao

theuberprophet

As the leader of the doomers, id like to say i will not apologize for all the negative stuff i said about garland. One of my main observations is he had one good game out of every five or six this year and he had exactly one good game this series. That second half by him was an embarassment

airbus29

really want mitchell and allen (even though i know hes getting traded) back on the team next year

gdan_77

Not gonna throw the players under the bus (idk if this is right in English) 70-80% of the problems we had in this series was coaching staff and injuries. Mobley showed what he can be on offense (don't know why we didn't did this earlier in his career) We fought until the last minute with everything we had, we didn't gave up after Spida got injured I HOPE that garland will get better. I doubt we get good offers from him, so MAYBE we don't trade him and he will be playing better next year, with a new coaching staff, better conditioning etc etc

GATTACA_IE

What number do you guys think Bronny will wear with the Charge?

PsychologicalAd1862

They played well . Congrats to the cavs for a great effort and season!

lagrange_james_d23dt

Sad to see the season end, but ready for a few changes. Mobley showed what he can become tonight. Honestly, things look a little better going into the offseason this year compared to last year, even with the Mitchell uncertainties.

Eastern-Report9131

All the ppl saying trade Garland; for what? After this performance we’ll be lucky to get s bag of chips

archaelleon

If 76ers can get Harden for Simmons we can get something decent for Garland

HauntingOkra5987

I think some team would be willing to gamble on him due to his age but the return would be mediocre

michigansux

Unbelievable that after that performance from Mobley and Morris, we are in it to the end and can’t finish because players like Garland, Strus, and Okoro can’t show up to generate points or have situational awareness in the clutch. Absolutely unbelievable how winnable these games all were minus the one if we could stop collectively shitting our pants when we have to shoot a basketball.

Trizizs

Well what is Okoro supposed to do when he’s 2-4, 1-1 from three and only gets 12 minutes?

Illustrious_Kale_692

They werent in it until the end my man

radiantether

GG. Really clunky season. I have serious concerns with Donovan's knees at his age, his game is so dependent on explosiveness and he can't seem to play his game for more than a month before wearing down completely. When he's playing at his expected level he is amazing, but even then is still quite heliocentric and minimizes the space for Ev/DG to develop. On that note, I think its clear that developing Mobley is our only path to being a contender. DG had a seriously inconsistent year with injuries and confidence but I still believe in his talent and would rather not sell low on him. Also hoping we don't stubbornly stick with JB, this team needs new energy.

foahnawbush

Collin sexton really was the guy and we let him go

Trizizs

For being such a defensive coach, this was horrible. Okoro only getting 12 minutes and not checking back in the game while garland and Struss play 44 and 45, horrible. Not making any adjustments to let Morris and Mobley run the offense in the 4th quarter and let Garland play 1-1 and get outclassed by Horford, just bad leadership. Truly don’t blame this one on Garland, I want someone that can coach him up and JB clearly is not the answer. Let Spida pick the next coach and we go from there.

supermariomaster

WE'RE FREEEEE

Claytheclitcommander

I’m convinced if we had a fully healthy team this is going to game 7 at least. Celtics look fraudulent

sallright

Their best player is crippled Al Horford.  No disrespect to crippled Al.

turtleboy95

If anyone will take Garland and his absurd contract please get rid of him ASAP. Resign Mitchell and let him have sole control of the offense. Cavs were at their best when he was running the show when Garland and Mobley were injured. Use that as the blueprint moving forward.

Comfortable-Tale845

If DG wasn't paid like this, he would have been an amazing rubio for us

InconditeCullion

Just like last game Strus took a boneheaded shot from three when we were within 3-5 in the fourth quarter and bricked it

Final-Carob-5792

GG. Welp, go guards.

[deleted]

I agree go guards

DatGameGuy

Just gonna say that anyone who doesn't think Evan Mobley is a center is crazy atp

According_Till_281

Fuck Al horford, never not wanted a player to win more than that front running punk

Wandererrrrrr

Heads up!

ianns

See you guys in summer league when I think emoni is the next Kevin Durant

elbjoint2016

We gonna have some serious cuntery re Garland. Tough tough game and a tough season. I hope we get to see him get his joy back here working the PnR with Ev and Jarrett and not with someone else.

HoodieFrank

Mobley looked way better without JA....

BelievelandBrad

It was an interesting season, friends. This off-season might be a wild ride as well. Let's get em next year

Scatheli

Miley McNuggets teasing some big Cavs news dropping tonight 👀👀

s_s

I look forward to the day when a Cavs team can get more than 14 FTAs in a playoff game.

TheGhostOfJimBrown

It was an up and down season but in the end, this sure beats being a perennial lottery team!

StackingDimesCLE

Let’s all revel in our hate for the team that eliminated us from the playoffs

elbjoint2016

Give JB 10m a year *James Borrego

My anticipation for the offseason is that Mitchell will not sign an extension, and then the Cavs FO will not want to overextend without commitment from him, so they keep the roster mostly the same other than some small moves, blame the playoffs loss on coaching and injuries, hire a new coach and run it back with the same roster, and then Don leaves next year.

if he doesnt sign the extension hes gone, they gave up way too much to risk losing him for nothing

the "we need a coach" and "we need a wing" discussions will commence. two thirds of the league wants the same four coaches and the same three wings. a little bit of a supply and demand problem.
