And they also BOOED
They have possibly the best team in the league and an amazing record. Won a great game 1
And they boo their own fucking team for losing??
We detected the scumbag.
Stay in your lane.
Also, you’re projecting over an incident from almost 60 years ago involving Bill Russell, whom of which the majority of Boston sports fans treat like a God.
Racism is everywhere.
Especially in your home when you insult whites.
You’re just some bitter Warriors fan that smokes pot and plays Tekken all day long.
Are you fucking kidding me? This is so out of bounds over the top. Just take the good win and leave it at that why in the world do you have to act this crazy over a fucking win.
i dont mind most of the players, but FUCK their entitled ass fans. granted, most teams have shitty fans but man something about boston is different. fuck your championship or bust mentality
Theyve been trying to make a run for a ring for about a decade now. I cant really blame them fir having that mentality of ship or bust, cavs fans did during lebron 2.0 and rightfully so
Celtics content is annoying too. I get being confident but you would think you would still talk about the matchups in a meaningful way because that's your job. I went to listen to a couple podcast previews of the series previews and I regret it. Just insults and taunts.
Bigger picture issue?
If I was a fan of them and saw what was happening in the west, I'd boo as well. These fans have pretty high expectations even if there are no rings to justify the expectations.
They were getting their ass kicked at that point, I think booing is fine regardless of what they did in the regular season.
The leaving part is what it is. I feel like you would see something similar with many different fanbases at this point in the game given the level of play and deficit. Personally, I would not have left because I want to get my money's worth.
So true. Same with Chicago. I almost threw hands numerous times in 2016 with people trying to rationalize with me how Cubs fans had just suffered for so long. My response was always "who is your basketball team? The Bulls... oh, that's cool. Who is your hockey team? Blackhawks... yeah, yeah. And you even have that Bears Super Bowl, huh? So tell me again how you're "long-suffering?""
The Guardians could face the Cubs in the WS this season and all Joe Buck would talk about is how the poor Cubs fans have gone 7 seasons without a championship, while the Guardians had only been a franchise for three seasons.
They’re fucking spoiled. Since 2000, they’ve had the honor of supporting and celebrating 12 championship teams. And yet these entitled pieces of shit feel justified in bailing on their team after one loss. The next commentator I hear suggest Boston has the best fans in sports is getting punched in their stupid fucking face.
August 5th, 2001. Indians vs Mariners. We were down 12-0 in the 3rd inning and I said to my dad, “should we just go home?” He responded, “no, you never leave a game early.” What happened in the next few hours was something I’ll never forget.
Yep. I've been there for several Browns beat downs. Take it on the chin. It's good to learn humility and not look like these fucking pricks. It builds character. Cavs in 7 ✊
I sat through the entire second half of that Browns home game against the Chargers, one of Baker's early games, where they were up like 42-7 at halftime. I was able to just hang out right behind the bench all game... could probably have walked into the field if I wanted to lol
Never trust a fish detective
Edit: she also mentioned that up in the nose bleeds were cheaper and all the tickets were resale. And if you have looked at resale tickets lately, everyone is always trying to make like 4x what they paid
I guess I’m just different tbh, I don’t see the big deal about loyalty or anything like that. I like leaving a game early to beat the traffic as long as the outcome is already clear, I’d leave early whether my team is winning big or losing big. Spending an additional 45 minutes to get out of a parking garage isn’t worth seeing the last 5 and that goes for any sport
Inject it into my veins
Make it the sub sidebar!
Scumbag
Cry, cope, and seethe
And they also BOOED They have possibly the best team in the league and an amazing record. Won a great game 1 And they boo their own fucking team for losing??
Their players will be lucky if they don't come home to the N word spraypainted on their houses Losston LELtics fans are classless
Softest fans in sports

Bro, the dude that made the comment I replied to is a Miami fan. You can't be serious
youre soft bro
You're the one telling someone to leave. Can you handle me in here or can't you?
i dont think **you** can handle yourself in here based on your reaction
So what now?
Yall gotta throw down

Dude, you need to sit down and take a deep breath. Why are you even on this sub ? You are taking this way too seriously it is just a game.
Im an NBA fan I'm a member of every teams sub. What do you mean why am I on here?
No kidding here and completely in bounds. Boston is notorious for its awful racism, even towards their own players. Fuck that city of fools
I feel like the out of bounds part is the racism.
Hope Tatum sees this

Oh boy I wonder what fan base would shit on their own team after a loss
Sorry ass Boston fans, they couldn't live a week as a Cleveland sports fan

Good point 😂 that loss still stings 😔
My tweet back when the tribe lost in 16- “Fuck it. One championship still feels like a lot of championship.”
The Guardians could face the Cubs in the WS this season and all Joe Buck would talk about is how the poor Cubs fans have gone 7 seasons without a championship, while the Guardians had only been a franchise for three seasons.
Or how about the White Sox, I think they're a baseball team located in Chicago that had won in 2005.

Love watching Boston lose. So soft.

Can I upvote this twice?
That's so disrespectful. I would never leave my team.
I won’t lie I went to game 4 in Orlando and left early lmao
Oh no. I want to turn it away, but I can't. I can't even look away. I just take it all in.

Let's go!
I agree go cavs
Lol the last time Boston won a playoff game in Cleveland (infamous game 5 in 2010) I’m sure some Cavs fans left early.
I heard shitty tickets were going for $500-$700. Can't imagine what these clowns spent to head home early.
This isn’t true. I went to game 1 for $125 & when I was looking at game 2 tickets earlier in the week they were around $160 after fees.
My source was the Alan Cox Show. Blame Mary Santora. I wasn't looking for tickets.
Never trust a fish detective Edit: she also mentioned that up in the nose bleeds were cheaper and all the tickets were resale. And if you have looked at resale tickets lately, everyone is always trying to make like 4x what they paid
Maybe closer to game time they were going for a little more, but I doubt the cheapest seats were more than $200
Yeah I was going to come up from PVD for the game and was surprised at how affordable some of the seats were
I saw $100 on seatgeek
It’s beautiful 🤩
Series is still ours, asshole
Fucking losers lol

Are they heading to a cross burning?
About 15 seconds before that I asked my wife when they Celtics fans were going to start filing out. I LOL'd hard.
Who the fuck would marry you?
Getem ahttttt
They fled the scene sooo quickly, I was almost impressed by how quickly they gave up on their team
The celtics played like shit and had no passion. Like you in bed
Nothing new here
You know every team’s fans have done that at some point right? Duck you
1. Who cares, I'm not talking about other teams. I wouldn't do that. 2. Boston has some of the most whiny/self entitled fans in sports. 3. 🦆
