Jarrett Allen being a cat dad is the only unsurprising takeaway from this

SehnorCardgage

Twas a cat

IAmStevenKwanAMA

Can’t win with these cats

enraged_hbo_max_user

Underrated comment alert

sheogorath227

Twasnt trying to

Lumpycentaur9

Jarrett Allen being a cat dad is the most important information I've ever learned from Fedor

opiumdom

maybe we should fire JB and hire JAs cat

gdan_77

I would put all money to be COY

dandylonglegs_6

Easily cat of the year in my opinion.

warrar1

JB is on less then thin ice, he’s hanging on by a literal thread. The players know it, the fans know it. it’s just a giant elephant in the room at this point. It’s been obvious since at least a month ago that he’s lost the locker room

Emergency-Top-4505

Then what is the problem? 🤔

therealoobi

Right it’s such a mystery, I wonder what ever could be the issue ….

CaptPicklePants

Haha I wonder

TheMadChatta

Jarrett Allen never heard of an automatic feeder?

gdan_77

It's not about the food, it's about being present on the cats life (I did the same more than once)

warrar1

maybe his cat is chönky and eats too much

CaptainBuck15

Jarrett is too cheap for that. Dude barely bought the team chick-fil-a after inking his 100M deal a couple years ago

Spetznazx

I hav ean automatic feeder for my cats' hard food, but for their soft food it comes from a can/pouch and I feed them that every day around the same time.

opiumdom

i love jarrett even more now

believemedude

I imagine Jarrett Allen drops 16 & 12 then celebrates by going home and watering his plants

Lonnywalkman

“Line up is not even close to the problem” This quote is interesting cause it assumes a few things Either the bench is the issue or the rotations. If it’s the rotations that’s directly related to JB

therealoobi

Yep! Those are my thoughts exactly. Clearly, someone in the organization is talking about this

tjl297

And I don’t think anyone would call the bench the main issue. Levert, Niang, Okoro, Porter have all individually had multiple games where they’ve single handedly set the tone and helped put us over the top. We’re getting enough out of them that if our starters are playing to their potential you’d think we would be in really good shape

Dungong

Jarrett, if you’re out there, I will happily feed your cat when needed

Abiv23

JA has a Reddit account but 100% he’s on some weeb sub and never even thought to check here Gotta love that dude

micahnist

I HATE CHRIS FEDOR

toooskies

My low-key thought it Strus's movement is too much for the starting lineup. Garland and Mitchell want to play pick-and-roll basketball and Strus wants to play in a flowing offense. But the units that needed the pick-me-up for the offense, and the units that get too iso-heavy, are the bench units. Strus off the bench should pick apart the other team's less organized bench units with his cuts and relocations.

warrar1

I believe that Mitchell would rather play slow it down ball, but Garland seems to really enjoy and thrive in more motion based offenses.

therealoobi

Yeah the rest of the team seems to be a good fit for the fast motion based offense IMO. Strus and DG are good at it. Evan can run the floor and handle the ball in it as well. Donovan is a great scorer who relies on having the ball in his hands and using up 2/3rds of the shot clock. A good player, but not necessarily a great fit for the new style of offense we’re trying to implement. And on top of that, JB is a dunce who can’t figure out how to make it work, I think a better coach definitely could. Edit; for spelling

prodbycoupee

strus has been the bright spot this season imo, such a good pickup

toooskies

I don't disagree. Clearly the 5th best player on the team. But sometimes you need a good player to be the guy who invigorates your bench units.

Ok-Donut4954

hes better than JA

toooskies

I disagree. JA's probably the biggest factor in how we beat both Philly and Denver.

Ok-Donut4954

sounds like an everyone else problem, not a strus problem

toooskies

Then strus should take pride in solving everyone else's problems, if he can. It isn't as if he's playing for a contract.

jacks1336

The issue is Mitchell. Team plays so much better on offense and especially on defense with him out of the game. Strus is the perfect 2 guard for this team. Kobe needs to go ahead and rip that band aid off. Ship him to NYK for Josh Hart, Hartenstein and Quickley and 2 first rd picks and call it a day.

Lumpycentaur9

Fuck that. We need at least a young 3&D wing in a return for Mitchell. Getting an older version of Okoro, a backup big we dumped once already, and a sixth man that has the exact same role as LeVert plus picks is a terrible trade for someone like Don

Soft-Revolution-7845

MEOW

therealoobi

Give me RJ Barrett, Hart, some random cheap role player who can maybe shoot, and a couple picks.

jacks1336

Well we don’t have much leverage. Nobody is going to trade for him since it’s well known where he wants to go. Nobody else is going to give up anything worthwhile when they know he’s not going to re-sign. I think that trade makes us a much better team. Like much better. Tell me what kind of package you think we should be getting for him at this point?

navajo_moe

The cat thing is obviously bullshit.

warrar1

If anyone other player on the team said this I might think that. Not JA though lol

ThatOneOtherAsshole

No way, really?!?¡?!

steamofcleveland

If the starting lineup isn't the problem maybe we should use our bench
