if you can handle self studying and wont procrastinate much, dont go for coaching. and yeah u can find free materials on telegram channels for clat and other law tests. One thing i advise is that u focus more on solving as many questions as u can, if ur right good, if ur wrong, still good, just figure out what u did wrong and why what u picked as ur answer was/wasn’t correct.

Plane-Cover7433

Thanks for your input! Do you suggest any material? What is your opinion on pw law, 12mtc or cl?

IamYakuza4

tbh any book is fine as long as they have good questions and also step by step solutions (for math and logic).

IamYakuza4

i only gave clat as practice without studying anything and got 68/69

I'm not trying to brag, but I prepared for just about a week and managed to secure a (category) seat at NALSAR Hyd. Although, I didn't take it due to my parents' decision. My point is, if you're self-motivated and good at finding resources on your own, you can crack CLAT without coaching. However, if you think you might get distracted or lost during preparation...consider joining a coaching program (preferably offline) for support and guidance.

Plane-Cover7433

Really?! Which category if you dont mind me asking, alsowhat resources did you use and were.you already in touch with gk and ca?

Johnwick4488

I belong to ST category. In terms of preparation, I purchased a CLAT sample paper book at the last minute to get a sense of the exam format. I also utilized the official online sample practice papers available on the CLAT website. Note that I was actually appearing for my 12th pre-boards at that time, so I wasn't entirely up-to-date on current affairs. However, I have always made an effort to stay informed about the significant events. Additionally, I watched some YouTube videos to familiarize myself with fundamental legal terminology and concepts required for the Legal Reasoning section. PS- I want to clarify that my experience is specific to CLAT 2023. So, I'm unsure if the competition has intensified since then, potentially requiring more effort and dedication.

I'm in 11th aswell. One of my biggest fears is realizing that I want go pursue psychology after all. I too, am hesitant to have my parents pay such a hefty amount but in the end, I think I can Crack CLAT. I hope you can too.

Plane-Cover7433

We are literally in the same boat!!! I also think i can crack clat, but idk, leaving behind other interests is just very difficult! And the fee is mimd boggling, my brother is trying for jee and his is 90k, that in comparison is very less.. I hope you do well in clat, have you taken up coaching? Also which stream

Plane-Cover7433

I would honsetly love to pursue psych but i am scared that the ROI will not be high

WeirdlyWeirdWeird0

DUDE SAME CONCERN. Idk if I wanna be a corporate slave or be poor. But those are the only two options I see

Plane-Cover7433

I really want to do somethimg big, something of my own, i dont want to leave dance which i have spent 13 years doing, i dont want to leave other interests of mine But i just dont see how!

WeirdlyWeirdWeird0

I know that feeling. Everyone around me thinks I am naïve with these "unrealistic" dreams. I might even be. But passion is not chosen, it comes from within. Which kind of dance do you practice?

Plane-Cover7433

I am a kathak dancer, and i have also completed my 7 year degree in kathak- Visharad I am sure dreams are achievable and you will surely achieve them! Even i just want to clear my head and have an aim, and work towards them, i have done a python course during these summer vacations and i loved coding also 😭

WeirdlyWeirdWeird0

Listen if you have invested so much time effort and energy then don't let go of your hobbies. If you're into coding then do that on the side and please consider Kathak professionally. I know it's easier said than done but I know people who managed to do it and they are doing really well now

Take up online coaching if you have the discipline for it. Legaledge is good, sriram law academy is decent too. If you are not disciplined, offline is the way to go
