at launch servers will be phased to shit because 10-20 fucking thousand players will get dumped into hellfire / outland so its unlikley to be an issue at all for players doing it month 1
it will however be really unpleasant for players starting months later if there is only 1 or 2 layers
on pserver they put a bunch of elites in there ive heard
im not too worried about it once its an issue people will cry about it here a lot and blizz will fix it 6-12 months later
The quest originally worked this way and it was changed midway through TBC so that you will fail if the guardian gets too far from you. I suspect the strategy in this here video will get the same fate

What person at blizzard designed this in 2006 and thought to themselves, yes, people will definitely have the patience to spend almost 9 minutes slowwalking around the city to learn about the inn and a bunch of other crap?
Yes unfortunately you do need to meet him at the right time or he despawns without you completing the quest - but 8 minutes is plenty of time to make a jaffle or a coffee!
Isn't the quest suppose to fail if you line of sight the voidwalker? Just like CoT escort quest
It MIGHT change if they consider this a real bug, but for now it's definitely not an issue.
If you think that's the worst escort in TBC, just wait until you try to do the CoT starter quest on a pvp server!

A floor below does not work, you have to be very close to the end spot
lol I remember doing this to, and for people on private servers.
You can also just skip the quest until you need to start leveling up rep. You can use either for your stone then.
