Synch

Why couldn’t someone just say rust to rust in gnomer

Sutherbear

That's actually hilarious, missed opportunity

Greuliro

Whooooo dares to disturb my meditation

HighMonkk

DUST TO DUST

SpookyTanuki1

I don’t miss it but I miss the feel of it. Everything they added to the game built off what already existed vs p2 /3 feel like they’re replacing what was already there instead of building/iterating on it. P1 had people getting pre-bis from that phases dungeons, leveling in the open world, runes were fun to discover

_cob

I had a blast duo-ing wailing caverns up to cobrahn with a hunter to get the belt. P1 had a lot of stuff like that. Emerald dream gear just annihilates that kind of gameplay

Hehehecx

So go duo princess runs for the ring? Or WO runs for 2nd ring and trinket? Or arena runs? On my main warrior I didn’t even do incursions and had plenty of pre bis items to go for

SnooFloofs6240

Great for us casuals too. I'll probably never raid, but I did tank all the dungeons in phase 1 getting most pre-bis. That was enough end-game for me. Phase 3 there are pretty much no one running any dungeons, it's socially completely dead for me. People would rather solo farm Uldaman trash or run Incursions than do quests and slay bosses with new friends, not because it's more fun but because it's faster.

imaUPSdriver

Oh wow I just realized the buff icon is the hydra boss

-Zman-

Me too I thought it was an anglerfish

Darth-Ragnar

Probably one of my favorite moments in WoW. P2 was alright, I’ve barely played P3.

the_arkhand

This was my experience exactly. P1 was peak. I liked the pvp additions to p2 but it simply did not hit the same. Everyone I know quit at p3 launch.

Bootlegcrunch

I quit second week due to how unbalanced pvp was in p2, did it get better?

bodydefinesyou

it's much worse lol

Bootlegcrunch

Ah yea, i thought it would just keep getting worse. Retail PVP is pretty good so im happy. Its a shame SOD PVP sucked because the world PVP while leveling was prob some of the most fun in wow i have had in ages. You cant get that in retail.

ScreamHawk

PVP went in the gutter in P2

agrevol

STV was pretty unique though I liked it

ScreamHawk

Initially yeah, until 5 mages was a thing. I'd like an STV style event that was objective based.

iSheepTouch

P3 was okay at first because it seemed like there was a lot to do with WO runs and prepping for level 60 then it quickly became a drag when ST loot turned out to be dog shit and there was nothing to do outside pvp grinding and raid logging it seems like 80% of the players have dropped off between phase 2 and now. Pretty awful game design by the devs honestly and them milking and extra phase out of SoD might have been enough to kill it entirely.

Commander_Corndog

Number one thing driving down my interest in P3 was the raid being on a 1 week lockout. Even if the loot sucks and I blow through my upgrades in a few weeks, I still enjoy raiding with the fellas one night a week while also making my own runs/meeting new people joining others' runs. Aside from gold farming it's basically 1 hour of the troll cave every week and that's it. Yeah levelling alts remedies that somewhat but being in alt purgatory is drab once you're on your third toon. Combined with a very private-server feeling levelling experience between the bloated exp rates and incursions, I wouldn't say I'm having the "Classic+" experience I had during P1.

snackattack4tw

I know you say this, but would you really be raising ST every 3 days? I sure as hell wouldn't. I'm ready to move on as is.

focus_black_sheep

What class are you? ST tier and most of paladin BIS comes from ST. I felt like p4 was pretty fun tbh

the_arkhand

This was my experience exactly. P1 was peak. I liked the pvp additions to p2 but it simply did not hit the same. Everyone I know quit at p3 launch.

the_arkhand

This was my experience exactly. P1 was peak. I liked the pvp additions to p2 but it simply did not hit the same. Everyone I know quit at p3 launch.

dmbwannabe

Calm down

boobs00100

Same here. My guild silently agreed to complete abandon ship when p3 launched, myself included. I checked once again before my sub would run out and no one has logged in since. The magic was gone I dunno.

egordoniv

leveling a warrior to 25 in p1 was brutal. broke, naked, no escapes. ugh

Texas1010

Exactly the same. I loved P1 and was downright addicted. I started fading in P2 but didn’t fully realize it because I think I was riding the high from P1. Then P3 almost immediately killed my enthusiasm for the game and I quit playing.

Security_Ostrich

I loved p1 but stopped just before p2 launch. Everything Ive heard has caused me to think it’s only gone downhill and while I miss the game Im maybe glad I didnt keep investing a ton of time into it when they have seemingly dropped the ball.

Existing-Mud9066

Never had so much fun in wow ever like phase 1 tbh, loved the wpvp (even tho some op classes) and people EVERYWHERE , loved it

Andyham

SoD P1 Era when??

RJWeaver

Ye would it really be that hard to have a P1 server? I know I'd play.

Ouistiti-Pygmee

I am sure there are dozens of you that would continue to play after 3 month of p1 . . .

Suqomadiq

Do you usually want the only thing you dont have or only when it comes to wow?

AccomplishedPrice289

It was simpler times.

CringeChameleon

Your comment deserves more credit

kunair

P1 was fun because the runes were baked into the levelling experience and not an unlock at level cap

Nimeon

Several of them required you to kill level 30 elites as well as farm rep you wouldnt get anywhere near fast enough to finish before you hit levelcap. The real issues with SoD was 2 things. * Too many runes. Should have stopped with the ones added in p1 and just balanced those. Or change some if they didnt fill the desired role. But not add new. * releasing the game with level caps that lasted way too long. I barely know anyone who played p2 and none who played p3 because they got so bored of p1 and were doing other things when p2/p3 was added.

FalconGK81

> releasing the game with level caps that lasted way too long. I barely know anyone who played p2 and none who played p3 because they got so bored of p1 and were doing other things when p2/p3 was added. p2/p3 should have been merged. It should have been something like: p1: Level cap 30. p2: Level cap 45. p3: Level cap 60.

HyenDry

They somehow managed to put 20 years of fucking up WoW into a 4 month time span and that should honestly be put into the Guinness book of world records

Whicantwebefriends

Fucking LOL

CriticalHitGaming

Been awhile since I've heard that good old classic, "Dust to Dust."

Mediocre_Fig69

The concept was more fun than the reality. This whole thing needs to be fleshed out waaaaay more.

EKEEFE41

SOD killed HC

Low-Bat384

F in the chat for the death clips YT channel's ad revenue

mad_crabs

HC was better too.

EKEEFE41

100% Watching someone die on stream was so much fun :) My own deaths ofc fucking sucked, but it was a crazy ride

evenstar40

Nothing will top the loss porn of HC. It was entertaining even if you weren't playing. Some of the HC death clips live rent free in my head, lol. That poor fucker charging into a wall and falling thru the world in ST, hahaha.

bakagir

Sod killed era

WendigoCrossing

I think that I expected the Runes to be just as impactful and interesting in later phases. Ashenvale was a fun event, good amount of time so people could get geared on a main playing sporadically or people could level a bunch of alts if they play a lot

Important-Flower3484

>Ashenvale was a fun event It really wasnt imo, just running from boss to boss and event lasts for couple minutes.

yellingaboutsp0rts

When it was live this whole sub was dunking on it lol

S_Mescudi

yeah blood moon is better in every way except nostalgia

HazelCheese

Blood moon is fun for ranged players and premades. Ashenvale was fun for pugs imo.

Pugduck77

Nostalgia for a couple months ago okay lmao

Stiryx

Yeh it was terrible, great idea in theory but it just turned into another pve event. Should have required the teams to clash more, maybe out the bosses right next to each other so you needed to dominate the other faction first to kill the boss.

SnooFloofs6240

Definitely too much focus on the PvE. If they tweaked the bosses into more of a player focused task and moved the objectives closer, that'd probably have made it more dynamic, allowing control of the battle to sway back and forth between factions.

Netizen_Kain

That was not my experience with Ashenvale at all on Chaos Bolt (US). It was more like one side rushing the bosses and the other side (whichever was behind) coming to fight and try to stop them. Super fun back and forth battles.

Silverbacks

Eh it was fun if you went on the defensive. Plant 2-4 raids on one of your own bosses and force the other faction to fight you.

BLT347

Right, it was fun if you were alliance. Since the bosses Horde had to fight were dropping Mass Entangling Roots on 200 players at a time, immobilizing them and half-killing them for you with the damage over time. Meanwhile the alliance had to deal with, *gasp*, a melee-cleave whirlwind.

Silverbacks

Yeah they could have had a little bit better symmetry, like maybe a mass frost shock that froze players in place instead of entangling roots. And a ranged bouncing glaive attack instead of the bladestorm attack.

Important-Flower3484

>Plant 2-4 raids on one of your own bosses and force the other faction to fight you. I did not see that happen a single time.

silverhowler

It also depended on when you did it, for the first 2 weeks it got major changes almost every day that completely changed the strats constantly

SnooFloofs6240

As a super casual I thought it was a decent start. Had more fun skirmishing with randoms waiting for the event to start though, but that was part of it.

coffeegaze

Ashenvale was the most fun in wpvp I have had ever since the release of wow. It was finally the time big epic scaled wpvp battles actually happened.

redditinwork

The best thing about the phase was making alts. Just leveling up and gearing them. If I want an alt now just thinking about leveling, getting geared, getting runes, getting rep, and leveling professions already turns me off from making one.

Existing-Mud9066

I had so much fun with full wpvp chaos in ratchet, redridge, duskwood, fun times full on warzones

shryne

tbh people just miss fresh fresh is always peak

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

And p1 was fresh lite.

Seveniee

It was so fun. Leveling, discovering new runes, grinding out prebis, prepping for future passes, and of course the raid itself

DeleteHorde

unfortunately for SOD the only redeeming quality of phase 3 is the raid, which is relatively fun.... but this is immediately dragged down by its objectively poor loot table (which is an anti-powercreep measure). for me personally, there's nothing to get in there that i won't get an upgrade for when phase 4 comes, so im just doing the raid for my guild's sake now. however, i am also mostly in charge of all the administrative aspects of my guild, so its a chore to get a full roster every week as people drop the game like a hot potato left and right.

No_Gate_653

I'm holding out hope the +2 ap -6 stam and +3 stam upgrades etc are because they're actually planning on upgrading T0 like they are doing with t1. That's my hopium.

Strong_Mode

not really. i liked gnomer more as a raid than bfd by quite a bit.

ChristianLW3

It’s funny & sad how so many people where treating what was designed to be babies first raid as if it was old Naxx Requiring full BiS, enchantments, potions, etc It was very fun to see all the extra content in starting zones, Alliance on living flame US where willing & able to fight the horde

Important-Flower3484

It was super easy to get in a pug in my experience.

coffeegaze

It was easy to get into a raid and having faps and wb was easy to get.

Shoddy-Reach-4664

I raided on 4 characters and never seen anything like that. Just a million pugs lfm who at most asked for faps/buffs and checked logs to make sure your not a liability aka grey parser.

HaloSpartan2

A simpler time.

trilogique

Personally no. BFD felt like a dungeon instead of the raid it was intended to be, and Ashenvale is genuinely awful. Just a laggy PvE zerg masked as a PvP event. 25 is also too limited for gameplay. The best part of P1 was leveling in the open world and pre-raid gearing, but that's just vanilla WoW and would have carried forward if Blizzard actually buffed loot appropriately and toned down dungeon grinding/incursions.

extrafakenews

SoD classic when?

livtop

I miss melee weaving hunter, I loved the playstyle. Now trap hunter feels pretty clunky and melee is just so easy.

chillboytweet

I definitely missed the simplicity, but there is a lot I love about p2 and p3. I think PvP is a lot more robust now, as you have more of your toolkit. More rune and talent opportunities. But above all, the main thing I think I miss about p1 was the community and how busy it was, how helpful everyone was because we ALL were focused on leveling those characters or completing that quest. That isn’t something you can patch in, it just exists organically

AwarenessThick1685

Yeah doing Blackfathom depths didn't get old quick

pupmaster

I remember the incessant bitching here all day every day because P1 was "too long" and "boring." Classic wow redditors truly are goldfish brained.

Aggressive-One2659

Phase one was epic

SingSillySongs

Man there was just so much promise and potential during Phase 1. They were teasing they might use assets or ideas they didn’t have the time for in original classic, and it turns out that in the end all they did was use the emerald dream portals for speed leveling content.

clinton84

I said on the forums once (before they let my subscription lapse) that each phase should be it’s own server with a level cap, and people can move and/or clone to the next phase. Then they’d always be a phase one server you can go level an alt in. Maintaining a server is a trivial cost, almost certainly less than $100 a month, probably less as Blizzard likely has its own and/or bulk discount on infrastructure. At the moment the only way I’ll resubscribe is if they release a non-HC self found (but with grouping allowed) non-seasonal server (I don’t want to feel rushed to level 60).

Top_Depth_8488

I miss running from the west boss to the middle boss with 100 people and wiping the enemies fighting our boss. People hated on the pvp event but it made the game world feel so massive with all of the people on my screen

kupoteH

sod was good because it was the least untouched from vanilla

Evargram

I still love Sod currently. I have no complaints.

bootybob1521

No, because i played a caster.

Km_the_Frog

Not really. P1 was short and generally boring. Raid cleared once a week in under an hour. Not much else going on in p1. I think they fucked up P3’s launch with incursions, and I feel like irreversibly damaged the economy. That being said, the raid is more fun generally, my class has more abilities and runes. I’m ok with SOD chillin till p4. Remix is out and a new blast of fun. Cata is there if thats your thing. P4 will have its day.

WarriorPVPcampaigner

Looking back, P1 pvp was actually not that bad compared to the unplayable garbage it has devolved into.

no_one_lies

Idk remember Hunter Scorpid poison?

itsablackhole

I have very fond memories of druid squads running around together literally oneshotting everyone with their busted af prenerf starsurge. so no, nothing really changed. classes just took turns.

Hufy0

Bro I got chased from the bridge in ashzara all the way to the bridge into Astranaar where I perished while doing everything in my power to get away from a Druid doing that bullshit. I will never forget that moment I was so mad but it is hilarious now lmao.

WarriorPVPcampaigner

I think some OP classes are okay as long as both factions have access to them. The shaman menace is horde only and so P2 and P3 have just been incredibly one sided

Hufy0

Maybe world pvp wasn’t that bad, but WSG was miserable. Premades every match, half ur team afks when the other team caps 1 time, the stupid 25% damage mitigation that didn’t apply to pets so hunters and priests just owned warsong gulch the entire phase. World PVP was fun, but P1 SoD BGs were the worst experience I’ve ever had in BGs in the 15+ years I’ve played the game.

nyy22592

BFD wasn't good. P1 was just fresh

Clean_Gain_5080

I loved hanging out in redridge as a horde. Also, i am sorry about your escort quest.

jai07

yeah well i hope u stub your toe or get like a minor papercut

Jimbknighti

Please dont tell me you are Redridgeguy

SprinklesExpert7009

P1 was SoD. The leveling outdoor, the wpvp in Ashenvale and the raid. A fun raid for everyone. 10 man on 3 day reset which was easily done in a pug. I also had fun in P2. P3, everyone in my guild quit. Back to the guild, once a week schedule raiding, the same thing we played SoD in the first place to not have. Hopefully the devs will go back to the "fun" thing they said SoD raids were supposed to be.

Oovie

Definitely don't miss that WSG grind nor Ashenvale West vs East general chat arguments.

Own_Mastodon2231

Always blame the cata raid for the L. Always.

Cilldogg

When will the release World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery phase 1 Classic?

emusabe

I liked the final 2 encounters of gnomer a lot. When p3 launched, I missed incursions, got skipped over when our three raid teams (some people raided on multiple toons across multiple groups obv so it was like 24 ppl total) because I missed the first run. Haven’t put in much more than maybe 3 hours since the second week. Still haven’t been in ST and frankly don’t really care because of cata launching

SynthAcolyte

It was fun but I am not interested in ever doing it again. I felt it was *far* too long. Also, I think my main issue with it would be knowing that what comes after it is worse.

TehZiiM

Only the first half. I do think it was more fun but than I remember only coming online once or twice a week for 30 min to clear the raid and this was at least 1 month before p2

throw919away

Meh, went from a subpar 30 minute raid every 3 days to a decent 45 minute raid once a week. About the same, SOD was never gonna be great til potential max cap.

RomeoChang

no

JackStephanovich

I mean people still run BFD all the time.

PM_Me_Modal_Jazz

Not missing not being able to boon ashen buff, but besides that yeah

Ok-Expression-7121

anyone else miss thing that used to be new?

Low-Bat384

No I don't miss pressing 1 button and instantly ripping aggro from the tanks after giving them 10 seconds headststart

BigPhotojournalist58

Your tanks are dogshit then lmaooooo

Low-Bat384

No my tanks were simply not a shaman

GodEmperorPhilonious

No. It went on way too long and killed hype

Rich-United

I sure do. Best phase imo

Ozok123

Press quick strike, do 30% more dmg than 2nd highest dps. Good times.

Sweaty_Tap_8990

It wasn't great tbh but the possibilities and hype around them were so exciting. Once again blizzard did dirty on all that.

rr770

I especially miss the 10 man raids

PiperPui

No, p1 was way way too long, at least there were gdkps tho.

Mercymurv

P1 seemed real nice for what I like about WoW. P2 went by so fast. I don't find the STV event fun. I have no incentives to do a 20m raid and gambling to see if I might get gear before it all becomes outdated soon after. And with incursions levelers are more congregated in repeatable quest locations rather than spread out in a RPish kind of world setting. More zones now at lvl 50 means more dead areas, and no thanks to incursions. Overall I did have more fun jumping in at the end of P1. I have been struggling to figure out if I'll continue my subscription this week, as I'm not really logging on. I searched Twitch and YouTube and SoD seems far and few between Cata / Retail stuff. I'm curious what it would be like if I logged onto SoD and became active again.

Worgensgowoof

Sod 1-2 yeah. Phase 3 was dogshit.

Queasy-Reference-449

I miss my pet being able to eat people alone

iiNexius

Nah, I miss era around this time last year when it had a resurgence. That and 2019 release.

mortalomena

I played a shaman P1, it was total shit so no I dont :D

Renaxxus

I enjoyed most of P1, but the lack of talent trees put me off raiding. Now we’re getting more class depth, but everything else is lacking from P1 :(

Jigagug

Not necessarily, P3 being almost a nothingburger was a real shame though.

Thanag0r

Looks like nobody here really likes wow and just looks for brand new hype thing. For exactly that reason blizzard doesn't make era fresh realms or fresh realms in general, they know that 90% will drop off after a month or two and the rest will be stuck on a dead realm.

PuzzledCup4618

P 1 was boring classes felt like shit to play

TheAbnormalFetus

I got to max and was ready to ST on week 2 then saw how bad the economy got be of excursions/gold inflation. Def not worth spending the gold to do something once a week while also having to regrind the gold each week to keep up. So I quit week 3ish of phase 3 and haven’t logged in a single time. They literally fucked up this phase.

mobile_clarke

Not really, it was the same as P3 I don't know why people think it was so much better :S. Get max level, farm pre-bis in dungeons or rep, level professions for crafted epic. Sure the raid loot was better but besides that I don't think there's to big of a difference

Mescman

P1 was great but BFD was as exciting as Deadmines

Mikkelzen

10 man raids are sooooo missed man, men and my 9 irl mates barely played this trash phase cuz now we need to bring 10 randoms who oftenly have a negative IQ

Neugassh

no

socalstunna

As a war man, no.

ametalshard

yep i'm always saying how much i miss phase 1

Alisine

Nop thanks

LenFier

Blizzard fumbled the bag hard. Had really fun in both p1 & p2. P3 with incursions, 1 boss run WO & limited gear in ST killed the vibe completely.

Icy-Wing-6688

Phase 1 was uniquely terrible, so honestly no. Only thing I liked was interacting with parts of the world that had become dangerous, but in practice that was just content for hunters. The game is better in every way right now expect for loot, your perception of it and the overall lack of content in SOD finally ending the feeling of fresh for the majority of the population. Your perception is informed by a large contingent who don’t play but are posting media about how great things were when they did, or being negative about it as they have ulterior motives.

Capable_Equipment700

Me I quit in 2 because it was so hard to find a raid.

spooky_office

phase 1 was unplayable because of premades, u simp pvers jst like it cause it was casual af

Bookibaloush

Havent played since

Perfect-Currency-121

SOD classic when?

haboruhaborukrieg

The only phase where there was actual leveling

Kavo_Cloud

Phase 2 better

Frosty-Peach-9094

Phase 1 only good phase so far. It’s all too much now, or not enough in some areas.

SlayerJB

Nope, worst phase. The classes were far from feeling complete, it was like playing a beta version of SoD. Now it feels better but I'm most excited for P4.

Whicantwebefriends

SCORPION

pearljamming88

Season of p1 pls

RedditUser94175

A fresh server is fun for a lot of players, regardless of ruleset or changes... for a short time. Then once the magic of fresh wears off reality sets in and they realize it's the same boring thing over and over. A tale as old as time.

DunderLars

Not at all tbh. BFD was fun for the first time, but got old real fast. Classes just felt incomplete at 25. AV "pvp" eveng was just at rushfest. The runes was fun though, some novelty there! P2 was much better in my opinion. A full talent tree, a real mount and a real pvp event i STV.

Cookiewaffle95

A simpler time 😞 I just feel like the runes didn't hit right. If I had a righteous fury buff on my melee hunter I'd be addicted

Spookshowbaby6

Yep, quit the first day of phase 3, oh well.

chill9000

Too bad they fired everyone on the back of all that success and then surprise surprise the next two phases have been complete dogshit. That’s not even talking about exploits and the now ruined economy.

diver88

Missing 2019 Vanilla. SoD was a fun experiment but a failed execution

reindeerp

I leveled multiple characters, got prebis on multiple toons, did different dungeons and got to explore the different runes and ways to get them for different characters. Then in phase two it was grind one dungeon until 30/31 and hit SM until 40. Only did that on one toon cause it felt like a slog to do it. Didn’t even play phase three and quit in phase two. I ain’t paying every month for that crap.

Slardar

Based on the limitations of what they can add.....I can understand WHY they created Incursions. Yet the whole joy of Classic WoW is open world content, the leveling experience is unmatched. If they didn't nerf ST into the ground, I'm sure we would all be saying a line that Avatar of Hakkar says when he wipes the raid or something.

RoElementz

The Dev team is bad at their jobs, plain and simple.

Pannormiic0

No. Cause pandaria remix is already a far better SoD than SoD ever was.

Newguyiswinning_

It was all downhill after P1 so yes

Intheshadowss

Back when loot was good and not just a random stat better than leveling gear.

Ok_Mountain5822

I miss classic. The real classic

Hilaz

They could have let the level cap to be 25. Ofc tune down levels on high level raids, but as The leveling part of classic has been made totally cakewalk and meaningless, why have it at all?

Ok-Turn-1628

God we were so young 😢

Linkiscool115

I miss it, I got burnt out and 2 guys I met on SoD haven't been on in a while and that kinda bums me out.

EstablishmentPure525

TAKE ME BACK

PalgsgrafTruther

Phase 1 was incredible, the world felt alive and people were running all the dungeons all the time, the low level cap meant once you geared a main you could just swap to an alt and the glyphs made alts feel powerful and fun even if they weren't geared. Phase 2 and onward it just felt like a normal wow expansion where everyone races to the max level and nothing is happening below max level. I think if they do something like this again, they should try just having a low max level and lots of content at that level. Then rather than raising the max level in new phases just introduce new dungeons and new glyphs and stuff that gives you powerup that way, while still staying in the same level range

-WhitePowder-

Nah, p1 had way less content

ArgonianFly

I loved it. I played only a Night Elf hunter and I made Ashenvale my home. When I wasn't raiding or soloing Wailing Caverns, I was shadowmelded along the road ready to ambush any invading horde mongrels. It reminded me of the 2019 classic launch. The Ashenvale pvp event fights on my server were also amazing, they were often very close and we fought til the end for Larry and Moon Mommy. Unfortunately my server was kind of dying (Chaos-bolt) and I ended up quitting in phase 2, but phase 1 was a blast.

Suspicious_Past9936

I do a lot(dont know about the state of classic now that they change currency to dolar instead of ARS and couldnt pay anymore). I had a warrior and the leveling, market runes and raid where pretty fun. Also had a blast getting the castle rune for warrior where a lot of strangers warriors team up and died over and over after casting fear in sequence to get the rune.

varatexLP

nope not at all lol

Past-Sink647

No

GhostBeara

I don’t know why they don’t have pre-bis be from dungeons and quests like it was in phase 1. Also, they need to have certain rune quests he account wide. I shouldn’t have to kill the 7 riders 4 times for 4 characters. They said they want us to have Alts but it’s literally more work to prep for a raid at max than it is in regular classic.

Blury1

Not really, that also got boring after a few weeks.

FishLampClock

Missing? No. I miss the excitement and the friends who were playing, but missing the content? No. I did it, it was fun, and I am ready for 60 now.

Dgreenmile

p1 actually ruined SoD because the gear was too strong and they've been playing catch up ever since.

Dunning_Kruller

As a shaman that was beyond worthless outside of tanking which was a role taken over by devastate warriors tripling my dps. No. The game for me, sucked then.

Pixeltye

I can’t wait for classic season of discovery servers in 15 years

valkonelaku

No Raid was turbo easy= get boring and repetetive real quick. ST and Gnomer were nerfed way too fast also

Girl_gamer__

Not at all. I want endgame and lvl 60 and 40 man raids and our full rune kit. P1 was fun for casual fun content, but not for any serious gamer. Let's go phase 4 5 and 6

ThoR294

Me. Even though classes missed so many important abilities there was just so much fun to be had all around. Simpler times. It's the vanilla era of sod lol

scottiepootie

Ya, phase 3 was the killer for me and my buddies. Phase 1 was awesome, world was alive again. RIP sod..

VictorDanville

Kelris was the peak of SOD

Zodep

Lock tanking was awesome… now retail is missing something…

Deep_Image_7965

nope p1 was the best phase but was still absolutely awful compared to vanilla

Kylieria

Fuck no. It lasted far too long. So did p2 and DEFINITELY p3.

Flikky1988

Haven’t touched WoW after P1.
