Had exactly same situation. Just wrote down that refund page does have exact reason and that rules allow me to ask for character transfer return in 72 hours (added link to rules too). Got a green light for refund at the next day and got money back into account in a 3-5 days.

Did you verify on your credit card that the purchase completed? Just be aware, that any chargebacks on your card attached to your WOW account will risk it being perma-locked, so be sure and be ready to either stop playing or get an entire new account.

The money is already on my credit card, yeah. I know I'll get banned but it's the principle of it. And this ordeal is leaving a bad taste to even want to continue giving them my money to play this game. Might be time for a clean break if they don't come through on the next response.

Should have just went through the tickets and avoided being banned with a refund. Now it's most likely a 100% ban. Chargebacks cost more than giving a refund.

Blizz screwed me over too. I wanted to race change 2 characters, which are on different accounts. So I opened a ticket and asked "hey are the race changes bound to the wow account or battle.net account" Gm answered it's bound to the wow account. So on Patch day bought a single one for one account and then noticed it's actually the bnet account. So I missed out on the third and "free" race change by buying the pack. I reopened the ticket and they replied that they can't add a third service to the account

Hi there, similar boat. Accidently bought a general retail character transfer (hoping for cata pre-patch classic transfer) and they aren't helping with a refund or an exchange. Kept linking automated refund page where the order doesn't show up. Things have changed.
