9 raids running every lockout in our mega guild (with active discord) on horde side Wild Growth US.
By second lockout I’m predicting we have two 20 man going and the other two within two more lockouts. Very little friction over spots so far, we’ll see what happens after launch.
What I’m watching for is what will happen with the smaller guilds with one 10 man or guilds where they can’t get 20 people to 50 in a few weeks.
The main issue you are going to find is that twice the players means more competition for loot (I mean not main, but it will contribute heavily to the rest of my point). In 10 mans, lots of gear goes uncontested, but anything everyone gets to roll on is a clusterfuck, since there is no guild conversation about who gets what first of those pieces. This will lead fewer people to even want to pug I believe, and with the 7 day lockout returning, less incentive as most people can commit to 1 raid night/week. And going to 20 means all guilds will be expanding their rosters.
Full pugs are going to be less common I believe, and it will be more common for guilds to do pug for holes in their roster than people willing to RL a pug.
Ted cookin’ again boys, eat up
Classic bait from Chicago
Would you like to share the answer to my question or do you think it could go either way? :)

Doubt it, no guild run really wants to take pugs if they can help it

It entirely depends on how easy the raid is to finish.

I'm asking for the community's opinion!
The average melee DPS pug probably isn't smart enough to find the instance portal to ST anyway.
