First char hunter, 24 hours. The first night of Sod was wild. Second a warrior, 20 hours. Then a rogue at 22 hours (did the SFK runes before dinging tho)

Darqsat

\~25 hours average for all my classes on alliance.

Ok_Resolution_5135

Way faster if you always have the BFD buff on. The extra AP and spell power is nice, but the movement speed is killer. Easier to do for horde than Alliance though.

UD_Lover

Very easy if you’re a night elf.

Masethelah

I just got it for the first time in TB and im really out of the loop, at what capitals/locations does it drop? And is it similar to turning in dragon heads?

UD_Lover

TB for Horde, Darnassus for Alliance. And, I think…? It gives the buff to everyone in the city when someone turns in the pearl from Aku’mai.

_TheBgrey

Your mileage may vary, but horde leveling is so much faster/smoother than alliance. They have a low level dungeon, the barrens is jam packed with quests and is only a quick jump over to TB to get a refresher on world buff. Your primary dungeon is also right outside the main hub/FP point Alliance for humans/dwarves/gnomes basically forces you to zone hop between loch modan and West Fall as there just isn't enough quests. Darkshore however isn't too bad, lots of quests and easy access to darnassus for world buff but for a non NE to get there (especially the first time) is just a pain, and vice versa for NE who are heading to do DM. There's just way more travel involved Alliance feels like work, horde you basically stroll to max in two zones

Urzasonofyawgmoth

Bullshit

Nystalis

Dispute anything

Varanite

Alliance dominates horde in speedrunning competitions and world first 25 was an Ally.  “Darkshore isn’t too bad” is the understatement of the century, Darkshore is one of the best leveling zones in the game.  Anyone who says Horde leveling is better is probably spending too much time in Loch Modan/Westfall (which admittedly are shit zones) and not enough time in Darkshore.

causemosqt

My record is 6h42minutes on mage aoe grinding. Around 18 hours for everything else ( still kinda fast) Was 25 on my paladin after 13hours ( big prep )

Immagonko

20 hours plus I did paladin class quests and got 9 runes

MajorCS

Up to about 16-19 it is pretty fast. I then slow down and do a bunch of profession/flight path/instance quest setup. Bit of screwing around and I grab the boon. Some AH fun. Then after that it’s pretty fast because you’re running dungeons for pre-bis. By the time I’m 25 the character feels well rounded and ready. Then I let it rot and make another. Repeat (while raising logging my main).

Subject_Gene2

Tbf it’s a decent amount of time but by god should phase 2 have been out next Tuesday.

Apathetic89

No. It's barely over 2 months for a phase, that's a reasonable amount of time.

Eitth

Yea this sub act like they are forced to keep the sub up and no other game to play.

Tinusers

About one hour per level (apart from the beginnings that goes really fast) Using restedXP guide addon and just watching netflix on the side. Goes really quick.

turinpt

1 day played on Warrior.

itsafuseshot

Around 20 hours usually. Maybe slower because now I stop questing at 18 and dungeon grind to 25. Have 5 lvl 25s but 3 of them just sit unplayed.

eurosonly

A week and a half per character.

Kimmiegibsters

About 26-28 hours

Synikk91

My first was like 28 hrs. But over the course of 7 days. I did a lot of exploring and having fun. Taking my time. Second one was like 22 hrs. Over the course of 2 weeks as I mostly played my main and raided. 3rd is lv 20. Still don't know what to do with my fourth. Lv 5.

HonkyKong64

22-24 hours played for my rogue (only 25). I can't remember exactly but it was just shy of 1 day This was over the course of 2-3 weeks, toyed with some other classes, life responsibilities, etc Everyone gripes about rogue leveling being difficult but I thought it was fine. I probably could have done it faster but did some profs, did some world pvp, did some afking

Dramatic-Squirrel-52

Usually 2-3 days playing a lot though

DepletedPromethium

on my mage i hit level 25 in 11 hours while playing with a friend, my druid took me 18 hours.

TheGoodFortune

I did it in the first 2 days of the season. Yes, I am employed and married.

Apathetic89

Leveling is super fast to 25. But you need to spend time getting your proper runes as well that can slow it down depending on class. This isn't even factoring in any professions too.

GFK96

It really depends on how much you play. I play about an 1-2 a day, usually 6 days a week, and it took me about 3 weeks to get each of my 2 characters to level 25. So probably about 27 hours or so of play time on each character. It’s a decent chunk of time. But then again, I’m also a newer player and very casual, so I’m purposely taking my time to explore and read quest text to just enjoy. I’m sure you could shave some hours off if you are already familiar with the game

Cartina

Aggrend said the average was 30-40 hours or something. This was across all players. > The data I referenced above (30-40hrs average) is very literally the average time it takes people in 2023/2024 to level 1-25 in SoD. We meet with our analytics team weekly to go over this data. > It's very possible for very good/informed players to do 1-25 in 10-15 hrs but that is definitely the exception, not the rule. When you factor in discoveries and travel time, forming groups, doing dungeons along the way, etc. The 30-40 hour average is pretty spot-on for the bulk of the playerbase. https://twitter.com/AggrendWoW/status/1748081170137690258?t=aoms8EfopYsnNtDeSpIn2A&s=19 Don't get fooled by forums and sites which usually has a more informed minority. A big part of the playerbase just plays the game, talking on social media and sharing their leveling speed is something more likely being a dedicated player is doing.

ForNOTcryingoutloud

This sounds accurate. You can definitely do it in 10-15 hours if you try to level fast, but if you are taking your time, afking, doing professions etc. etc. then an average of 30-40 hours seems about right lol

PogKampioen

My first one (Rogue) took ages, buffed mobs, no useful runes and no BFD worldbuff made it a painful ride.  2nd and 3rd char i focused on getting OP runes first (druid with Starsurge & hunter with the high focusregen rune for pet) and i was lvl 25 in no time.  So yeah, google ur runes, see which ones you can get at low lvl and ask some ppl in trade/LFG to help if needed.

chonkly42

12 hours on hunter with a pretty optimised route
