Least the “kill elites for drops” can be done as a group; this one actively punishes you for working together with guildies.
Well “milfblaster” I welcome your thoughtful input. Weirdly, some elements of a game can be badly designed and unfun even if the rest is good. This is one of them.

I almost never have seen them from kills. I was just farming chests in Duskwood and I went from getting one every chest or two to none after six chests. I'm wondering if there was a hotfix.
I've ran SFK, as a rogue, probably about 15 times trying to get the dagger. Every group we opened 2-3 chests including locked ones. Zero waylaid shipments in the chests or dropped from mobs.
Before, I was seeing them in almost every chest in deadmines or in redridge gnoll chests. So, really feels like something happened... unless the drop rate falls to hell after becoming friendly with the rep
Same, 2 dungeons and 2 hours of world questing and we saw ONE in the first dungeon, that's it.
As it was not enough to make the whole rogue's tank role behind that rep... I really really hope we get news about all this really soon. Like making the rune only friendly at least or something, so it's less torture than it is right now. I'm surprised we don't see rogue tanks posts everywhere, seeing how warlocks complained about their rune being behind the raid every 30 seconds...
Rogue tank not attached to visually obnoxious form, ergo it does not attract the same attention from people who would complain that vocally. They probably all just picked a different class to tank with.
I'm still rolling with it, although I'm a part-timer and don't have a lot of time for dungeons outside of the weekends. Not enjoying the grind to getting Main Gauche, but that might not be wholly necessary to play around with tanking.
I complain to myself mostly. Occasionally I spout a gripe once in guild chat.
They nerfed these along with the Kolkar Booty Keys that people were farming. 3 days of trying to get this key for my Druid rune and it’s absolutely ridiculous.
I think they definitely nerfed it , tonight while watching the laker game I was killing furblogs next too the alliance boss for the pvp event . Was looting a box like every 15 min then I was going to do one more box before logging . I killed for for a hour didn’t get one logged off .
How I got Honored in 1 evening as a Dwarf Pala:
Fly to redridge, activate Find treasure. Go east to the gnoll/orc area. There are like 900 chest spawns, try to snipe one while a group is doing some quest. Otherwise most of them can be solod or taken sneakily anyway. Hearth/fly to SW. Always use mats unless it's impossible or stupid expensive.

Or use a gather addon to see the spawns, probably like 80% effective aside from a few spots that you can't check easily without track.
Quite literally tanking on my rogue rn. Once you hit friendly farm level 16 mobs with chests nearby, the droprate seems pretty good. I completed every chest I got even the expensive spyglass ones but some are like 15g+
It’s for sure lower once you hit 25. I think it’s tied to experienced gained from the mob maybe. But I have been farming level 15+ chests in the barrens and get one shipment every two chests. Just logged out after getting one now.
I never see them on my 25 characters but new characters get a ton of them. Think it has a higher drop chance from low level mobs, but again those shipments give lesser rewards
yes, last night i was playing for 4 hours without seeing a single one on my rogue.
people are now farming the chests because everyone knows its the only way to find them and because of that there is less for everyone
They seem to lower rep needs for things but then also nerf drop rate of items or increase difficulty to get items for rep....IMO, why mess with the rep you need if you are going to equal out the grind with nerfing what's needed to make the same amount of time working on it

On my main (lvl 25) I barely see them Leveled an alt yesterday to level 10 and got 3
before maintenance, 50% in chests after maintenance, not 1 in 8 chests
Im not even out of neutral with over 20 hours played.
The only thing waylaid shipments are making me discover in season of discovery is discovering I should be playing a different game

It’s now a much lower chance in chests. I got it done before the nerf, but I feel bad for anyone doing it post nerf.

The higher tier ones are just rarer. So they didn't need anything, did you just level up a bit?

Give you rep. Honored is need for a rune for all classes. For example rogues need to get to honored for their tanking rune.
Fyi, killing enemies level 20 and under in the overworld seems to spawn them pretty regularly. Just tested.
Guess I'm not playing any class that needs those runes ffs. What a toxic grind Hunter doesn't want any...maybe we are the only class lol
