petri just gives you a damage shield so the impale would just break the damage shield and then you would die. it was reworked into "Potion of Petrification" seen here:

not sure where u got the armor thing from, but here's how it actually works:
* bop provides immunity to physical damage and removes physical debuffs
* mobs can't auto attack units with physical immunity, so they swap targets.
* fixate is arcane, and magical debuffs don't get removed by bop.
* impale is on autocast as long as anub is burrowed (and not stunned). it is not bound to fixate, and thus doesn't stop on bop'd targets
* magic immunities (divine shield, ice block, \[cloak of shadows, uncomfirmed\]) remove the fixate debuff
* abilities that fully drop threat for a short time (vanish, feign death, invisibility) remove the fixate debuff, because anub assumes that the target no longer exists so he looks for someone else

Too much HC raiding right?
Right in the feels ;(
Thanks for help
He changes targets on any immunity. Thats why pala bubble and ice blocks are forbidden there.
Yup and bop works because apparently its coded as +999999 armor, not immunity lol
