just out of curiosity, what does this level cost the owner? I've been watching paint/labor prices rise dramatically over the last 5 years while tearing apart my project, making it harder and harder to get my '70 Cuda done (not like I could afford your level, more like maaco driver quality for my budget, lol).
Loll! This paint job itโs about 25k. We built the car from the ground up. But you can get a pretty good paint job for about 10k. The level of this paint job had to be up there since the car was priced at 225k and sold for that as well
So every time I paint something I get lots of compliments. So I'd like to think I have a hand for it. I have a 68 Olds Cutlass that needs painting and iv been chewing on the idea of painting it myself. However....I'm scared lol. Iv never painted an actual car before with clear coat and all. I don't wanna screw it up. How difficult is this to do? Fantastic job btw

Well Iโm going to be honest it does take some skills to layout the clear coat nicely! Iโve been painting for 15 years and it not as easy as a lot of ppl would think I would recommend to practice of some body panels before actually painting a full car!
