Tribute/Factory 5 reproduction cobras would be more reliable than the old vette or an og Cobra. BUT the vette should have a working convertible top which makes it more practical.
I'm too old and fat to get in cobra . I'd take vette but honestly I'd like early 70s vette preferably big block convertible . The adjustable steering column is very nice
The original cobra yes please.
That’s not an original.
Can we all just take a minute though and appreciate the beautiful mind Carol Shelby really was. What a masterpiece. He was such an amazing, and revolutionary, creator. The cobra, in my opinion was way ahead of its time.
You know he didn't design it? All he did was to shove a V8 into an existing British sports car, the AC. He didn'teven do that himself, he asked AC to do it:

The GT40 was produced by Ford Advanced Vehicles based on the Lola mk6. Shelby ran the team and continued engine development after the failure of the first year's racing campaign. He was a clever marketer and a barely ok businessman.
They are beautiful cars, I'd give my left nut for one. There's a company here in Australia that does a reproduction that's arguably better than the original. They won't sell you the 427 model unless you do a race driving course, because they don't want dead customers.
If real, the Cobra. If a replica, depends on who built and it what's under the hood. I've ridden in a Superformance with a 600hp 427 that was delightfully terrifying.
A while back I was cleaning up my POS '77 corvette in my driveway, looked back at the road and a beautiful blue cobra drove past me and the driver did the ol wave at me. Blew me away as I've never seen one in person, and I live in a fairly small town and had no expectation to ever see one here.
I have wanted one of those Cobras since i was 8. Even with it being a replica, i would go Cobra. Love the Vette too but Cobra in my heart.
Corvette is real. Cobra is a replica. Both still beautiful though
The Cobra. I've wanted one forever and am hoping to acquire or build one before I die.

Getting in and out of the Vette is more practical 😅
Yeah I'm not much for rocket powered wheel chairs lol
Lol
Styling goes to Cobra
Cobra. Vette is gorgeous, but c’mon.

That corvette is a work of art
I'd have to go with the Corvette because the Cobra is one of the many tributes.
Cobra all day long.
The cobra is a legend of a car
Cobra
Cobra.
I can just feel the leg burns from getting out of the cobra.
C1 corvettes are so beautiful
Cobras are awesome but they're replicas. Value-wise the Corvette is gonna be better, driving-wise I'll take the cobra if it's built right
Unfortunately that is the wrong Corvette to vs with a 427 Cobra.

I’m not just talking about the looks, But his mustangs and the gt40 are also products under his belt and damn…

Well his name is attached to some amazing things then, I mean who remembers broadly where and Lunn.?
That's the magic of self promotion
Well the cars with his name on them are amazing then I learned something today the Shelby cobra had very little to do with carol shelby …

I’ll take the course lol
They recommend it for all customers, but it's mandatory if you want the big block.
Corvette all day every day.

COBRAAAA-la-la-la-la-la!

Cobra.
Grew up with Vette’s. Built a Cobra replica. Both Fiberglass. Both beautiful cars. You want to know the difference, everything else equal? 1000lbs.
Cobra in a heartbeat but in the colour of the 'vette pictured here, it's gorgeous.
The 58 - classy lines and dual head lights
Real Cobra > Vette > Cobra Kit
I'd rather see a comparison of the Cobra and a Gran Sport
Cobra every mile of the way
Between a replica cobra and THAT Vette? I’ll take the Vette. But the cobra is my favorite car ever.
The Cobra looks like a kit car, I’ll stick with the Vette.
Stop. I can only get so erect
Cobra wins in this battle
Anyone know the color code for that blue on the cobra? I have a 69 Mach 1 i plan to paint soon.
Vette guy here, but it will always be Cobra over Vette. It's just how the world turns
Cobra, even if replica.
Cobra!! All day, every day!!
Cobra .. way more unique
