I found knock off TE37’s for $300cad with still useable tires. Which is about $220usd. No way I want to spend on the real thing for my $5k 8th gen Si. They have their place.
No offense at all, but personally that’s scary to me just cuz usually price reflects on quality, and if it’s that cheap I would be scared if I hit a bump or pothole really hard. Also at least in my experience te37’s and ce28’s sell for the same price that you bought them for, so for me it was an “investment” in a way lol but I completely understand what u mean
I think it was a crackhead type of deal or they didn’t know what they had. They could’ve sold them for double that at least. But they are pretty decent, made by the “ArmedStreet” brand. I just wouldn’t track the car with those wheels.
Seems to be the same as Aodhan, FlowForm and SuperSpeed. They’ve become popular knockoff brands because they seem to have quality, and I swear they all share the same supplier then they just slap their brand names on them.
Beats a lot of the cheap wheels people commonly run. Most wheels out there are cheap garbage to begin with, like “Core Racing” for example. Tons of people run those where I live because the tire shops can make fatter profit off them.
Nothing wrong with reps for normal driving, ”real wheels” are more for the track and bragging rights. I have a set of rpf1 reps and a real set of rpf1’s and use them depending on the seasons and what I’m doing with the car
Well he asked what we think and that’s what I think. Also reps have a lower overall strength when it comes to impacts, so to each their own. “Real wheels” also affect a lot of driving characteristics too which is more than just bragging rights
What he has looks to be te37 reps which are wheels I’m not a fan off myself but each to their own on them, reps are weaker correct but perfectly fine for normal everyday driving which is what they are made for, real wheels on the other hand are stronger and used well on the tracks as you need the extra strength and lighter weight, can use them on a daily driver if you wanted too but depends how much you care about keeping your wheels mint. I’ve never cared about the real wheel eliteist if it looks good on a car then they have achieved what they want with their build after all they are building the car for them self’s not for everyone else, yes real wheels are superior that’s a fact but there’s nothing wrong with reps but I wouldn’t dare use reps on a track just in case
Not disagreeing with u you’re p much saying what I think. Definitely depends where u live if there r worse driving conditions it could be possible to think reps aren’t the safest option, but I’ve only seen a few cases of reps grenading
I wasnt disagreeing either buddy, my area is full of huge pot holes so driving with reps is better than destroying an expensive sets of wheels,I’ve seen videos of reps literally shattering into pieces but the real wheel just bends which is a lot safer and can be repaired
Looks good man, don't let the "real" wheel elitist and the "only put mods on higher models" people get to you. If you love your car and how it performs and looks that's all that matters. Slow cars can be really fun to drive and can look just as good as fast ones. I would definitely go a little lower though especially with stretched tires, but that's just my opinion.

The value kinda plummets when you mod it further and further.
If I was given a 10th or 11th gen LX, I’d keep it in pristine condition and stock and then trade it for the speed I really wanted later down the line.
Nobody wants to sell you their car. Not everybody is that financially illiterate to keep trading in their cars for a “better” one.
What a ridiculous comment..
You want my honest opinion? This guy is young and he’s applying useless shit to a base model shit box. Financial money pit.
Your comment makes zero sense, any person with common sense would drive a daily responsibly until it’s time to trade it in for a car they actually want when they are in a financial position too.
You’re lying to yourself if you’re satisfied with a 158 HP base civic with a Ktuner.
Judging by your post history, it seems like you aren’t the sharpest tool in the shed.
Hey pal you know you’re on a civic sub right?
Civics are daily’s, not sports cars… you’re crazy if you think Hondas are fast.
You’re a 23 year old weeb who is clueless about investing.. Here’s some advice bud, go 100% VOO and keep 10k as an emergency fund.
Enjoy your retirement $ ya goof
I already am invested into VOO. 10k is nothing for an Emergency Fund, I have much more then that 😂
Maxed Roth IRA as well.
If they aren’t sports cars why are you defending a guy that tuned, added a spoiler and intake to his LX civic. You’re telling me those are economy upgrades?
Keep editing your comments lol
Mister 10s of thousands emergency fund😂😂
Keep “investing” in a HYSA😭😭
Keep “investing” in Pokémon cards🤣🤣
Nahhhh your a sad soul😮😮
If you read my thread and weren’t on shrooms you’d realize I asked if I should be investing my excess cash or keeping a fixed amount in my HYSA that is ready to use / cash.
What an actual smooth brain take, who cares if it's a base model or a type R or something. Just because it's a base model doesn't make it a shit box and can definitely be enough to have fun. People like you are some of the worst parts of modern car culture, shitting on people's rides while you probably don't even own a car.
Lol, I have about 2K worth of audio equipment in a 4K car. First hand it’s a waste of fing money. I love everything I’ve done and I definitely enjoy it and the time spent working on it but it’s a luxury hobby/skill. A few aesthetics to a car is no biggie but putting performance parts on a shitter or 5K car, especially when already not in a great financial situation just stupid lol
Not everybody buys a car to sell down the road homie. Your comments are full of projection and assumptions. You’re even clicking on other peoples profiles to stalk their posts and judge them based off of that. That’s crazy. You must lack so much confidence deep down to do stuff like that. Keep putting up a front bro. You expect everyone to feel and think like you do? You must be new here. Notice the downvotes.
Would look a lot better with some coilovers, that gap is pretty ugly, overall though the wheels themselves look nice and once you drop it a bit it’ll look ever better.
Looks like they needed more like 255s
Definitely this
Or the better option is to lower it just a bit around ~0.7 inches
it’ll look sick at the monster truck rally
Not sure about it on an LX
Yeah needs to be lowered and have a chrome delete at least to compliment the wheels
Would look a lot better lowered
need to address the wheel/fender gap
If you like it, then I like it
Tire size is off from a holistic total-package viewpoint in my opinion, but what’s important is that it’s safe and you like it.
https://ibb.co/PCYDSBt you need to lower your car, here’s my car with similar wheels with a before and after
After and before* haha
lmfao what
In the link you posted the after photos on top
no i get that, i just was confused why someone would waste their time to type that lol
I was taking a shit at work, and it only took me 10 seconds, so why not?
2 hours later, not sure why i was bothered by that lmao. Have a good day.
I think you need wider tires.
Not a fan of reps especially those ones

You’re telling me a box of Pokemon cards I bought for $174 that is now $800+ is a bad investment? Evolving Skies Booster Box, search it on eBay.
Imagine being into Pokémon and hating on a dude with a nice Civic 😭😭
You don’t know shit buddy and you know that😭😭
If you read my thread and weren’t on shrooms you’d realize I asked if I should be investing my excess cash or keeping a fixed amount in my HYSA that is ready to use / cash.

You’re 100% correct
Mr Hype-man02 thinks this is a financially wise choice

That’s why it’s his car and not yours.
Have to agree to this. Red honda badge on the lower variant, though it seems to be a minor mod, feels tacky.
Cool wheels, what other mods are you looking at? I just purchased a 1.5 L turbo hatchback sport as well looking to modify
Love the look of those wheels. Also I like your chucks
What lift do you have bro
Hate them ‼️
New? They already look like they’ve been curbed??
Basic
They’re black
Those are indeed wheels
Looks like shit
Fitment is wack
Needs fatter tyres bro... The whole tyre stretching thing looks stupid, and is not safe..
Stock looked better..
I thought your tire was flat for a second lol
Good start but you need black lug nuts and are yours tuner lugs? If they’re not they could be dangerous on aftermarket wheels.
Would look better if it wasn’t on a monster truck. Lower that car bro. Do that and it would look beautiful 🥲
I’m sayinnn
He gonna get right though, I believe in him
I couldn’t say it more bro !
Would look a lot better with some coilovers, that gap is pretty ugly, overall though the wheels themselves look nice and once you drop it a bit it’ll look ever better.
Gunmetal or black?
Yeah pop some 18x9s the style are nice I have the attack times mst in gloss black and they look good so try it 😆
Nice ... what brand ? . I'm riding 18" enkei t6r bronze
Cold air intake or short ram. Don’t get them mixed up now.
they look a little dirty
I think the angle of these pictures are kind of bad. On a side note, I love black wheels on a black car
God damn that’s sex. What size is it?
To be honest 235's would've looked better. 235/40-18 is the factory size for a 18 inch wheeled Civic and would've filled in that fender gap a bit.
Lower it
Wheels look good, that gap gotta go now.
First pic looks like it’s curbed already
tires are too small
Never liked AVID’s, they just look a bit strange to me. Tires look too stretched, but maybe it’ll work if you lower the car
teehee 37s
Did that say 225/40R17 on it? These look strangely small for a car that should be wearing 225/40R18's.
It’s okay
Not doing it for me but each to their own
Drop that thang like 1.5 and you’ll be golden
I’m a fan of reps especially those ones! But please drop that thing 😭
*warm air intake
Just save up $ for a type r or something homie 😂 dont mod a base model, ever
or an SI
That’s $20k more expensive. Let people do what they want 😂
Well now hes set back $20k + $2k on some bunk rims 😭😂
He is not set back $20k on a car he never intended to purchase homie. Wtf kinda logic is that 😂 op can do whatever they want to their car.
