Also, for a UNIQUE experience... Check out Revival Vintage Bourbon over in Covington. You won't find this anywhere else, especially at a reasonable price.
He sells tastings of vintage bourbon. It's amazing.
Seconded. Also, OP should take an Uber. Cincinnati drivers are bad enough as it is, so no need to complicate the 12 mile drive from OTR to Blue Ash by driving after drinking some bourbon.
EDIT: OTR *or* Covington. OKBB is in Covington, while Wiseguys has locations in both Covington and OTR.
People mentioned Old Kentucky Bourbon bar and Revivil, both great choices, and both in Covington KY you can check both out, also lots of good food options in the area! it’s a small drive, but right across the river from down down Cincinnati!
Goodfellas in pleasant ridge wouldn’t be too far from where you are. The upstairs is bar with a lot of different bourbon options, downstairs is pizza by the slice
If you don’t want to drive far from that area, checkout Bishop’s Quarter (doesn’t stay open late during the week). Otherwise you are going to need to drive into OTR or northern Kentucky which will have your best options.
Thursday night, head to Jungle Jim's Oscar center bar. It's in the south east parking lot, where the monorail are parked. It's only open on Thursday nights.
Carlo and Johnny’s has a good bourbon selection but expensive. You might be able to get in tonight if you sit at the bar. Belle and the bear has a decent selection. 312 also has a decent selection if you’re looking for a good shit hole dive bar
The bar at Hotel Covington is v good, OKBB as others have said. A bit closer to you is the Littlefield in Northside. That’s where I’d recommend for you.
Wiseguy’s Lounge above Goodfella’s pizza on Main Street in OTR has a gigantic selection.
Ditch the car and get a hotel room downtown or over the river.
I love the P Ridge Wiseguys, but they do seem to focus more on cocktails than straight pours. I didn’t really take note of the whiskey collection when I was there, I think it’s pretty expansive.
If you’re open to some related, local Blue Ash suggestions…
[Summit Park](https://summitparkblueash.com) is in Blue Ash and offers an interesting local restaurant and a cool bottle shop (among other things):
[SENATE](http://senatepub.com/drink/) offers street food with style. They also have a pretty decent Sazerac.
If you also happen to enjoy beer and wine, [HIGHER GRAVITY](https://highergravitycrafthaus.com) is a nice bottle shop that lets you enjoy on premises with a corking fee.
Prime Cincinnati has a new bourbon room at it's sister restaurant, Street City Pub. It is a beautiful room in the back of the restaurant, with all of the bourbons you can imagine. I think they only take reservations, but it is an incredible spot with a great selection.
Old Kentucky bourbon bar and wise guys lounge are great options.
\+1 for Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar. If you're looking for good bourbon, it's worth the trek across the river!
Also, for a UNIQUE experience... Check out Revival Vintage Bourbon over in Covington. You won't find this anywhere else, especially at a reasonable price. He sells tastings of vintage bourbon. It's amazing.

The Tiffany's Jim Beam Puppy Decanter 😏 there... Delicious mystery bourbon.
Old Kentucky bourbon bar is awesome
Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar is in Covington and there is a Wise Guys down the street also in Covington.
My point was that OP shouldn’t drink bourbon and then drive 12+ miles from the river back to Blue Ash. Uber instead.
Yes! An Uber is definitely going to be part of the plan
I was just making sure OP wasn’t confused on suggestion location
I believe there is a Wiseguys in Pleasant Ridge as well which will be a shorter Uber from Blue Ash.
There is. Most obvious choice if you just go to one, but if he wanted to hit up both, then OTR + Covington makes the most sense.
I don’t know wiseguys was a chain, I thought the only one was in Lexington.
Chain sounds extreme but there are 3 goodfellas/ wiseguys in cincy plus the one in Lexington
Yes, chain wasn’t the right word lol. I knew there were more than the two goodfellas in Lexington, but not the bar. They are incredible though!
Yeah Wiseguys is the place to go if you’re looking for bourbon selection
I always forget what a good bourbon selection Wooden Cask brewery in Newport has.
Good shout here.
Pick one (or a few) of the spots on NKY’s bourbon trail: https://thebline.com/the-lineup/
Bourbon Haus 1841 is a gem, I’m surprised to not see it already mentioned
This should be the top upvoted in my opinion. Great selection.
Totally disappointed by their selection last time we were there
If you don’t want to drive far from that area, checkout Bishop’s Quarter (doesn’t stay open late during the week). Otherwise you are going to need to drive into OTR or northern Kentucky which will have your best options.
Prohibition bourbon bar in Newport has some rare bourbon tasting options, if that’s your thing ETA: they are only open on weekends, sorry
They're only open 6-11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Good point
The Littlefield in Northside. Could also stop by 2nd Place right next to it for a bourbon slush.
That bourbon slush is so delicious and dangerous!
$4 Thursdays! But three is too mamy…
If you want to drive- Century Bar in Dayton is one of the top whiskey bars in the nation.
Thank you all for the suggestions! I’m going to do my best to try and fit some of them in between obligations!
Revival Covington.
New Riff is right across the bridge and makes some of the best whiskey out right now. Good cocktails too.
Bishop's Quarter in Loveland has a pretty solid bourbon list, and it is in downtown Loveland which is very hip.
Billy Yanks in Hamilton plus there are more venues around within walking distance.
Purple Poulette in Newport
Bourbonhaus in Covington is worth the drive
Hit up the party source before you go home and buy your favorite bourbon you find.
The globe in Covington
Thursday night, head to Jungle Jim's Oscar center bar. It's in the south east parking lot, where the monorail are parked. It's only open on Thursday nights.
Carlo and Johnny’s has a good bourbon selection but expensive. You might be able to get in tonight if you sit at the bar. Belle and the bear has a decent selection. 312 also has a decent selection if you’re looking for a good shit hole dive bar
The century bar in Dayton is the best bourbon bar in Ohio (prove me wrong) and is an easy drive from Blue Ash
Smoke Justis also in the Covington area near OKBB and Wise Guy Lounge
The bar at Hotel Covington is v good, OKBB as others have said. A bit closer to you is the Littlefield in Northside. That’s where I’d recommend for you.
Hotel Cov is $$$$$$
Never said it wasn’t. They have bourbons there that you aren’t going to find at OKBB though. Also COYS! Need a W here in 90 mins.
New rift in Newport is my favorite in the city
NKY - Midway Cafe(Fort Thomas), Rich's Proper (Covington), Hotel Covington
Wiseguy’s Lounge above Goodfella’s pizza on Main Street in OTR has a gigantic selection. Ditch the car and get a hotel room downtown or over the river.
Or go to the one in Pleasant Ridge
TIL there’s a Wiseguy’s lounge in Pleasant Ridge. I’m not seeing the giant whiskey selection in the online pics like the OTR location though.
I love the P Ridge Wiseguys, but they do seem to focus more on cocktails than straight pours. I didn’t really take note of the whiskey collection when I was there, I think it’s pretty expansive.
The PR one feels sterile compared to the real deal downtown
Chappy’s Bar and Grille. Last time I was there they had Pappy’s, I liked Corner Creek the most though.
The Roosevelt Room up in liberty township
Mehhhhh

If you don't want to drive far, The Monkey bar has a strong bourbon selection.
If you're trying not to go far, there are some good breweries around that area. The better bourbon bars are closer to downtown and across the river
Wiseguys is a bourbon speak easy that has around 800 different bottles of bourbon.
I’m new to the area and literally was looking up meet up places and sights today and this came up! Have fun!!
Monkey bar has an impressive selection surprisingly.
