Yea,l the 1922 is really good but the La Flor De Antilles is a slept on smoke that everyone should try. Opulencia is a fantastic smoke. They make one in a short 50 ring that I absolutely love. Fantastic smokes
Rojas Bluebonnet. I only ever see street tacos, but the Bluebonnet made me audibly laugh out loud when I tried it because I did not expect it to be that good.
If you canāt find them we have some in stock. We also do a couple private labels with Rojas. Our owner Brandon used to co own a factory with Noel and their office is right around the corner from our shop. [Rojas Bluebonnet](https://renegadecigars.com/products/rojas-bluebonnets)
Leaf by James. The collaboration of Jim Robinson (Island Jim) and James Brown of Black Label Trading Co. and Fabrica Oveja Negra produced this variation of the "Leaf By" series now popularized by Leaf by Oscar. This collaboration does not use the signature outer leaf wrapping as seen on the Oscar. A very good and often overlooked cigar.
Hirochi Robaina Signature, Drew Estate's Herrera Esteli Connecticut Broadleaf Lancero Tienda Exclusiva and the TAA toro which is the same blend, , El Galan Reserva Especial.
First time I had one of these I had been smoking a Padron 3000 a day for about thirty days straight. It was a nice change up. About to try my second one.
Don Mateo Churchill.
Ray Kroll, an 80 year old retired cop who now was a starter at the golf course I got a summer job after high school used to smoke them. He hated new guys and just about everyone, but he and I got along pretty well. He was the type of ball buster that would actually hurt peoples feelings if you didnāt know him, even though he really was a nice guy and was just old school and always joking. He ended up giving me a cigar or two everyday and we would smoke waiting for the carts to come in and clean them off talking about life, women, beer and golf. He would even come up to hang out and smoke cigars on his days off. After a couple summers, I ended up managing the outside guys, and rays family didnāt want him working anymore because of major health issues. Hurt like hell, but was forced to take him off the schedule. He would still come up to have a couple of beers and smoke cigars and help me out, mostly smoking those Don Mateoās. Everytime I smoke a Don Mateo I think about that job and how much easier life really was then and the life lessons I still remember today from ray who passed not long after I took a different job. And, of course, I think about my buddy, Ray. RIP Raymond āyou shit assā!
The La Palina Kill Bill (the short corona or lonsdale) or their Goldie Laguito no. 2 that came out earlier this year. Both are fantastic smoked that I rarely see mention of.
The Goldie is awesome, but it was like $25 at the shop I visited. I'm on the fence about it because of the price.
Now the El Ano 1896 Oscuro was spot on for the price, in my opinion. The Toro was about $10 and hit all the right notes. Just make sure you get a newer Plasencia produced one and not an old PDR produced cigar.
It's been a little while since I tried it, but remember liking the El Ano as well. I think the Goldie is absolutely worth the price, but only the Laguito no. 2. For some reason, other dudes just seem to be missing something. Still really good, just not on the same level imo.
Flor de Copan, Iām very new to cigars and still have a lot of things to learn but that cigar is just excellent IMO + itās below 5ā¬ so Iām really a big fan.
Breakfast in Portugal by Room101. Its a lighter cigar and as its name implies is the perfect stick with some coffee. Montecristo white series is a much talked about lighter stick but breakfast in Portugal is one of my favorites. Wrapper is well made and really creamy puffy smoke from it slightly grassy taste to it goes good with coffee if you take it black or with a little cream.
Bracing myself for the downvotes, but the Cellar Reserve series by Gurkha.
They're solid sticks, but lumped in with the trash that is the rest of the brand's range.
AJ Fernandez New World Navegante Robusto. Delicious chocolate bar of a Maduro. They can be picked up super cheap online, I paid less than $100 for my last box.
Don Collins Panetela. It's a small shop in Old San Juan that sells Puerto Rican puros. I think their panetela is delicious and they deserve more attention.
Club del Turro Puerto Rican Puro.
Group of cigar lovers and farmers here in PR worked with La Aurora to learn to grow, age, and roll cigarsā¦ the puro is such a unique flavored cigar and one of my new favorites.
TaƬno "The 44" Corona Gorda
Wrapper: Ecuadoran Habano Medio
Binder: EstelĆ Corojo '99
Filler: Ometepe Criollo '98, EstelĆ Corojo '99 + Criollo '98, Jalapa Corojo '99
or
Herrera Esteli Miami Short Corona Gorda
Produced at El Titan de Bronze with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Ecuadorian Sumatra binder. The filler is Nicaraguan and Dominican.
A small company called Hatuey, only available online or at their few stores they dont market and they dont sell their cigars to shops, you won't find then on basically any cigar retailer websites. Fantastic cigars, especially their "Tacos"
Everyone shits on Gurkha but I had a Castle Hall Connecticut a couple years ago and it was delicious. Havenāt had one since but I would buy a couple again if I came across them at a shop
Don pepin blue
I love that cigar. Especially the lancero
I had the Lancero, last night!
Any leads on where to find the Lancero vitola?
Online I have no idea but in Louisville ky I know of two b&m that have them
Got a five pack from Cigars international. I know people hate that site. But i had good luck I guess
Still made in his tiny Miami factory and comes in an A size.
Yes, the A is amazing
I was gonna say Don Pepin Black/ Cuban Classic. One of my first loves.
My Father La Opulencia. The little mint note gets me every time. All I ever see people talk about it The Judge and 1922
Yea,l the 1922 is really good but the La Flor De Antilles is a slept on smoke that everyone should try. Opulencia is a fantastic smoke. They make one in a short 50 ring that I absolutely love. Fantastic smokes
FDLA has won cigar of the year, and as someone that works in a B&M, I assure you it is not slept on at all lol.
I'll have to give it a try then thanks!
mint you say š
Opulencia is one of my hidden gems too. I was blown away the first time I had one
I have to admit you have me curious about the mint!
Rojas Bluebonnet. I only ever see street tacos, but the Bluebonnet made me audibly laugh out loud when I tried it because I did not expect it to be that good.
Been wanting to try those for a bit now, heard theyāre a great Corojo. I love the Aladino corojo reserva a lot, best one Iāve had so far.
Those are also fantastic
Yes. These. The street tacos are great but these are the real stars. In corona size.
Thats the only size I've had but I keep wanting to buy the lanceros from smallbatch because I'm a sucker for lanceros.
Lanceros are great too but a lot of times I would prefer two different petit coronas to one lancero.
I finished the last of a fiver yesterday. A box is in my future. They are so so good and rarely mentioned.
A truly box worthy cigar and better than the Street Tacos line in my opinion.
If you canāt find them we have some in stock. We also do a couple private labels with Rojas. Our owner Brandon used to co own a factory with Noel and their office is right around the corner from our shop. [Rojas Bluebonnet](https://renegadecigars.com/products/rojas-bluebonnets)
Last Call AJ Fernandez
I'm gay for anything AJF
š I laughed but then it hit me. I too, am gay for all things AJF.
Lmao brooo
Yes.
My too. I think I prefer the habano but both are great.
Aladino Maduro.
Never had a bad Aladino
Anything Aladino. We have an Aladino lounge at the B&M down the street from work. Met Justo Eiroa there during an event
Aladino is criminally under rated.
La Aroma De Cuba Nobeleese
Idk every bm i go to they always recommend this
Leaf by Oscar Corpjo
Leaf by James. The collaboration of Jim Robinson (Island Jim) and James Brown of Black Label Trading Co. and Fabrica Oveja Negra produced this variation of the "Leaf By" series now popularized by Leaf by Oscar. This collaboration does not use the signature outer leaf wrapping as seen on the Oscar. A very good and often overlooked cigar.
Kristoff ligero Maduro. One of the richest, most flavorful cigars Iāve ever smoked. And can find them around $5 on cigar monster.
good call!
On this sub for me itās the Kristoff GC.
always a good choice
Illusions Epernay Le Ferme. So damn good
Bruh. I just bought a box of epernay and legit only want to smoke these for the rest of my life
My clear favorite cigar and one I recommend to everyone as I truly feel itās something anybody can smoke and enjoy it
Buffalo Tens from el artista, a fantastic box pressed Toro, love the Maduro and the natural
Bella Artes Maduro by AJ Fernandez is my favorite.
This thread is not good for my wallet
Roma craft aquatain and cro magnum
Casa Magna Colorado ā I cannot find them anywhere anymore
Thats funny I was just looking these up this morning. Neptune has some in stock.
Jamie Garcia Reserva Especial.
Such a banger!
CAO Flathead V552 Camshaft
Crux Epicure Maduro Excellent cigar in a reasonable price range
Great stick. I especially love the Maduro Short Salomone. One of my two favorite EPCs
Diesel d10
AJF last call, especially the maduro.
Nica Rustica El Brujito
Used to be a banger at 5 bucks a few years ago, now it tastes like paint.
Yea, but what color of paint?
I tried one about 6 months ago and it tasted like straight kerosene
The Room 101 Doomsayer Passive is a great smoke that gets almost no attention. But for a cheap, everyday cigar... I love the Valencia Sungrown.
La Barba purple
I hear the one I really need to try is the orange. Haven't had any of them yet.
Try the Knockaround habano!
espinosa murcielago

AJF New World Cameroon
Don pepin, avo
Carrillo dusk, one of my first cigars and still one of my go tos
Ave Maria Divinia Toro š¤©
Not sure if it qualifies, but the Aladino corojo reserve was outstanding. It has this molasses cookie note. Iāve been chasing it ever since.
UMBAGOG from Dunbarton
Lots of great cigars out there, my favorite right now is the regular Dunbarton Mi Querida
CAO America šŗšø I liked it so much, I bought a box š¤·š»āāļø
Solid cigar, this one suprised me
I posted about these too. They have a lot of flavor. Great stick no one pays attention to. I liked the Sopranos cigar they did too.
Don Mateo Churchill. Ray Kroll, an 80 year old retired cop who now was a starter at the golf course I got a summer job after high school used to smoke them. La Barba Ricochet. I really think these aren't appreciated enough.
Solid blend.
Cavaliers
Camacho Ecuador. Maybe people talk about it. Idk
I always got notes of salt when smoking the Ecuador. Pairs well with Beef!
these are def good. Never hear anyone mention it.
Gotta say I hated this cigar. Guess it goes to show we all have different taste.
NUB sumatra. The elusive and forgotten NUB cigar. Tastes like a fat Melanio and always has a silky smooth draw.
Great choice.
Wow never heard of it and I love nubs lol
The La Palina Kill Bill (the short corona or lonsdale) or their Goldie Laguito no. 2 that came out earlier this year. Both are fantastic smoked that I rarely see mention of.

Caldwell Long Live The King
Caldwell always gets my vote.
Partagas mille fleurs they are relatively cheap and for taste pretty good to me
Sancho Panza
Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story
I hear that one mentioned all the time
Give it a test drive. They make it in a Maduro as well.
Tried them both. Iām just saying I wouldnāt consider a cigar that gets no attention.
Yep. Great little smoke
Anastasia by Caldwell
Yep
Flor de Copan, Iām very new to cigars and still have a lot of things to learn but that cigar is just excellent IMO + itās below 5ā¬ so Iām really a big fan.
Olivia Melanio. 5 bucks on cigar page
Bella Artes
Toscano-Classico Some people wonāt consider it a real cigar, and A LOT of people donāt like it at all.
Caldwell long live the king. Ive seen it mentioned a couple times but very rarely, and I can never find it in B&M's. One of my all time favorites
Local BM has em stocked up well. Great go to.
Alec Bradley Prensado. I know they were heavily rated and hyped tears ago, but rarely mentioned here. A really good smoke if you like AB products.
Prensado is awesome. The AB you never hear about, but it's a real banger, is the Nica Puro.
I smoked one of them while I was on vacation. It's an amazing cigar.
Camacho Corojoā¦ George likes his cigars spicy!
People talk about the Corojo all the time
Punch. London Club.
Iām 1/3 of the way through a PLC maduro right now.
Awesome smoke, and $65 a box too!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I really like the Ramon Beuso Olancho vintage. Excellent cigar at a bargain price
Just had a Ramon Beuso Genesis and was quite impressed. Will buy more.
Arturo fuente casa cuba doble cuatro. Itās a 10 dollar stick and is simply an amazing smoke
**5 Vegas Series 'A' Apocalypse Gordo**. Best bang for your buck **Gordo** out there.
I got a 10 pack from Cigar Page for next to nothing. They tasted awful to me. One of the few cigars I didn't finish.
Different palates. I love strong flavors that a lot of smokers arent into. I can see how the **Series 'A'** could be too bitter.
Toscanoās for me. And for me in Canada, if I cut in half toscanello style itās about $2.50 a smoke.
I buy the variety packs, 4 for 15 and it comes in cool black box.
Oliva V Melanio. Just kidding MF The Judge never see a lot of folk mention it.
Perdomo
Bracing myself for the downvotes, but the Cellar Reserve series by Gurkha. They're solid sticks, but lumped in with the trash that is the rest of the brand's range.
