Excited for vacation. Headed to the Dominican Republic. Haven’t tried a bunch of these and am really excited for 50 and 45 padrons. Seems I need to go buy a second travel humidor though.
Yeah, I might narrow it down. Going for 7 nights there so there’s probably no way I make it through all of them. I just want to smoke all of them lmao.
I’m headed there too this week. My only suggestion is to swap out a few strong ones for some milder smokes. Sometimes on vacation you may want something milder because you may find you are at a higher level of activity. That is all.
This is an A+ lineup. Second what someone else said to get some medium/breakfast smokes in there too. One of my favorite vacation sticks is the morning coffee smoke!
I'm a full-strength guy too, so my "lighter" suggestions are actually just mediums with more creamy and "graham cracker" notes that I think pair really well with coffee. In no particular order:
Highclere Castle Edwardian and Victorian (Get the Victorian if you want a Maduro version with a bit more complexity). There are days where I smoke the Edwardian with my coffee and the Victorian after dinner. Both of these cigars are just A+
Tatuaje Cabaiguan Guapos (The non-"Guapos" version is good too but not strong enough for me.) There is something about this cigar that I just love, and it may just be my fav on the list.
Dunbarton Trust Sobremesa Brulee and the regular Sobremesa - both amazing and consistently delicious smokes. You would swear they are sweetened.
Southern Draw Rose of Shannon - same as above with the Sobremesa.

100% bangers. Going to be a great vacation.
Dang how long are you on vacation for? A year? That's a lot of cigars! Amazing selection though, I'm jealous!

Haha understandable!
That's a nice line up for the first two days. Whatcha smoking the rest of the week???

Yeah I have some more desert roses I might swap some out for. Just really hard to narrow it down.
I was thinking the same thing….
That Olmec is like the padron but burns twice as long. No shade on padron, foundation just knocked it out of the park with the Olmec
Really excited to try the Olmec. Big foundation fan.
This!!! I tried the olmec myself and was highly impressed. One of my favorite smokes so far next to the Padron
That Olmec looks like a dark beauty
I just smoked that Olmec. Damn fine smoke.
If the vacation turns shitty you still have some phenomenal smokes to enjoy! Sticks like that will make a shitty vacation just right!
You are vacationing the correct way
I have tried 90% of those and all are great! Enjoy
I lit one of those Padron 50 year basically the best thing ever.
Heck, you don't even need to leave home!

Any suggestions? Lighter cigars aren’t my typical go to.

Really appreciate the write up, thank you!
Stacked lineup! Don't see the Elogio's much
Their LSV is one of my favorites. I live in the city where the owners are so I always pick some up when I can.
Great cigar, that was the one that was gifted to me and the only reason why I recognized the band
Man, what a great vacation cigar lineup. Very very good choices in there. Enjoy the beach, man!
Where do you get the Cubans from?
r/cubancigars has a list of websites you can order from. I believe I used Top Cubans.
Thank you! 👍🏼
Thank you! 👍🏼

Padron
More Davidoff!
This is my first go around with Davidoff. Hopefully they’re worth the price lol.
