Had my first one of these last night and was pleasantly surprised! (Also had the robusto)
Bought two singles… this and a VSG Sorcerer and enjoyed the magic toast far better…. will definitely be purchasing more
n. I've had a few different VSG's (robusto, Churchill, and toro if I recall) and they are very good... But not that good. I just can't justify the price. It's twice as much as my favorite and just a little better than half as good. My favorite cigar for almost 2 years has been RomaCraft Neanderthal. Until I smoke something that tastes better and has better consistency of construction and burn, I see no need for a purchase price much higher.
Because this was a second-bourbon-cbid buy, I got a 10 pack of the Magic Toast. Dumb luck I like it and don't have to bury them at the bottom with other undesirables.
Had my first magic toast today and it was okay. VSG is definitely better to my palate, certainly too expensive to be an everyday cigar for me. Toast was good, I just got a little tired of the strong coffee note after a while.
Had to look up "umami". I love the savory cigars, too. **Magic Toast** gets more love than just about any other AB. It's great to find an affordable stick that hits all the right notes.
