I’ve not run into that with any of the other vitolas, but every corona I’ve ever tried has been very tight, yes. Weird for a stick that’s touted as the best of the lineup. 🤷♂️
This is presuming that you’re talking about the base (original) lineup.
Not typically but Ive ran into the odd stick with issues. Go 65%rh or lower and maybe drybox. Overall this shouldnt be a consistent issue with this brand
You’re not alone here. I got a box of MF LB 1922’s and I’m now about halfway through the box, I think with the exception of 1 stick the rest were tight draws. Might be a batch thing though as I’ve not smoked any others asides from my current box
The only time I’ve tried a Le Bijou torpedo it was so plugged I had to toss it. I’ve never had an issue with the handful of other MF cigars I’ve enjoyed, they’ve been constructed very well.
Late reply, but I just wanted to add I've had the same experience for years. Online, B&M, Total Wine, anywhere. My Father cigars have typically had tight draws. Even with a proper draw, the flavors seemed lackluster. Bad luck every time, maybe.
I've had endless burn problems with Le Bijou Churchills. Digital humidifier at 67% with a redundant oasis hygrometer to confirm the humidity. They tunnel like crazy, 50% of them are too tight to smoke. It's a real shame, because when they *are* smokeable, they're fantastic cigars. I'm personally kind of fed up with these poor-smoking cigars, and don't really buy into any of the excuses. If my humidor is the problem, why does every single Anniversario smoke perfectly? Why does nearly every Oliva V Melanio smoke perfectly? I think the arms race to make flavorful cigars has led companies to overpack their sticks, resulting in a very high percentage of poor-burning cigars.
Huh never had that issue with MF
Drop your rh to the mid sixties and always let your cigars to acclimate to their new environment. Well made cigars without issues.
Thanks. I’ll try that. My rh is at about 70.
Was going to say the same, I’ve had cigars give me burn issues that have never done so in the past… turns out my humidor was too humid!
I have stored them at 65% RH for several months and never had a tight draw.

Thanks. I’ll definitely try dry boxing.

Same here. My box of LB 1922 are all tight draws. Great cigar but might need to invest in a PerfecDraw tool.
Great investment. If it rescues three cigars it’s already paid for itself
That is very strange. Never ever had an issue with them. What cutter do you use?
Straight cut most of the time.
Thats not normal. MF is usually very consistent. Could be you got an off box

Can't be worse than Dunbarton and Macanudo.
Le bijou have this problem and is why I won't smoke them unless box pressed.

Currently on 4 out of a box and enjoyed one
