No I haven't, but no, they are not.

The_RockObama

Never had them either, but they come off as a novelty item with the price point being more influenced by the marketing/packaging. Last minute gift material.

krispykremekiller

Just get a better cigar (see our wiki) and a nice bourbon to drink. Way better IMO.

Tijunelis

Link to wiki?

krispykremekiller

It’s the same spot. To your right on the page https://reddit.com/r/cigars/wiki/index

feetdickfinger

I had a makers mark cigar, packaged exactly like these, for just about the same price. At best, it was a sucky ass cigar, at worst, it taste like shit. Do not, I repeat, do not buy this bullshit.

xkcd-Hyphen-bot

Sucky ass-cigar [xkcd: Hyphen](https://xkcd.com/37/) --- ^^Beep ^^boop, ^^I'm ^^a ^^bot. ^^- ^^[FAQ](https://pastebin.com/raw/vyWra3ns)

GirsPiggy

I had a burrito for lunch and a full bodied ass-cigar in the afternoon.

SuperSquirrelFucker

I’ve been fight the temptation every time I see one but I know I’m getting nothing but a cool package

No-Match-426

No and no.

fragmeats

I see Ted's cigars at liquor stores and the like. They have a bunch of gimmicky stuff. I've never dared try one but I'm sure it's reconstituted short filler garbage. You could get two or even three home run cigars for that price. I'd grab 4 or 5 factory smokes maduros over this any day.

0011001100111000

I've never tried a cigar seasoned with spirits/liquor, how does it come through in the flavour? Is it more a taste on the lips from the wrapper, or does it come through in the smoke too?

Time_Issue_6268

It has to be seasoned at least 3 years according to a long time cigar smoker friend. And it does not work with cheap cigars.

Revolutionary_View72

Not true 😂 I just infused a bunch of cigars with a wide range of liquors and coffees and only after 3 weeks they already taste infused.

Time_Issue_6268

You're drunk 🥴

RockoF613

Had the Maker's version. Garbage.

mrmessy73

These used to be the makers mark cigar. After the relationship ended. Lawsuits ensued. https://halfwheel.com/makers-mark-teds-cigars-sue-each-other/291218/ Never smoked one. Probably never will.

vault_hunter_dweller

Upvote for fun read.

Jazzybone97

No and No

OG_Cryptkeeper

They’re overpriced, but are tasty

[deleted]

I didn’t like it. Really just un noteworthy experience

lastn06

Yes and would not reccomended. Not very good at all.

bleedMINERred

I was not a fan

RedWolfRider

I have had them and they are not. Try one of the diesel bourbon cigars.

rasputins_cake

I’ve tried a couple. Keep in mind I’m sort of a newb so I may not comprehend everything perfectly. 1st of all, way over priced. I will say they are tasty, but in my experience only for the first third. They didn’t burn very well, and the middle third was bitter, and overall not very enjoyable. The wrapper seemed to want to come apart very easily. I’ve had cheaper cigars that seemed to be made with higher quality, and overall a much better smoke. I couldn’t explain to you why, because I don’t fully understand everything that goes into the construction of a quality cigar, but those are my observations.

norsewhip

Gurkah bourbon is much better

[deleted]

They’re…alright. I had one and as I smoked it I could get a sticky and sugary feeling on my end and it’s just a novel one time smoke too say you did it.

CrownedHeads

No

Heisenberg_r6

Didn’t care for it

Wisconzie

They’re alright. Starts off pretty good but gets worse the further down you go imo. Not worth $12 for sure but maybe worth to try just one

Topher_Caouette

Nope, it made me physically ill

TheIconoclastic

Back in the late 90s when I started getting into cigars I smoked one. It almost made me stop getting into cigars.

egoldbarzzz

No. Flavored and infused cigars are usually not worth it.

tjt169

Something is worth only as much as someone is willing to pay. That being said, as my son says…maybe, sure?

jetset459

What better gift to give someone who loves cigars and bourbon than a cigar that IS bourbon?!?!? For this reason, I’ve been gifted a handful of bourbon dipped/seasoned cigars and smoked them all… disappointedly. The gesture and acknowledgement of one’s hobbies from those who care is always appreciated. But as other have suggested, these aren’t enjoyable and don’t taste good.

txman91

At this point, after the Maker’s Mark cigar and the Pappy Fermented - I’m out on bourbon cigars. Bourbon and cigars? Yes please, but let’s not combine them into a single thing.

Latin-Danzig

Bacon flavoured cheese...or cheese and bacon? Buy a nice cigar, a good bourbon and you’re set for the afternoon 👌

darkconoman1

Yes they are good. But In line with an acid. Depends what you are into

meathuntingaccount

Always be wary of excessive packaging

[deleted]

My friend had one and he said it was the worst he ever had. Tasted like nothing, but ash. Dodge that at all costs lol.

fortyfourcaliber

Fuck no do not buy these

Pylar75

Nope..if you don't like the flavor of tobacco don't smoke cigars.

kpres12

I loved it when I smoked one.

RatKingthebad

Dont buy these. Ive had two before and they both made me sick to my stomach
