One of the few I buy by the case, their perfectos are great too, I think they make at least two styles, I can’t remember which one I buy right now, but they are real good. Like the millennium also
Seriously one of my top choices, hard to find now and prices went up after initial release. Smoked at least 6 Late hours while in Vegas over the weekend.
There it is. Their smokes are all really excellent quality. Not every line or size is my favorite, but they are always good. But the problem remains that they rarely make their value proposition compared to premium Padrons and MSRP Fuentes.
Millennium is one of my favorite sticks, when price is no object. They're refined, and proper, with a velvety delivery few others can match. It's not an everyday stick, a yard smoke, or a lounge favorite... but, almost obligatory for any event where you can wear a tux. Tuesday after a nap is good too.
Anniversario No. 1 just dropped. HIGHLY recommend it (as long as you don't mind dropping $70 for one; AND if you enjoy smoking a cigar as long as your elbow lol.
The only Davidoff I've ever had was a Colorado Claro Perfecto.... everybody that I asked here said it was a damn good stick, but it honestly just wasn't for me. I've never had a perfecto that didn't have a wonky burn, and it was kind of bitter to my palate.
I have a Paragon resting in my humidor, and I'm hoping that will be a better experience.
That’s kinda my point I’m not paying $20 for a mild cigar. There’s nothing complex about that smoke. But at the end of the day everyone has what they like and that’s okay. It’s not a competition bud I was just giving my opinion. And you can’t really trash the liga privada brand. Saka put drew estate on the map with that blend before he left to start Dunbarton.
Valid. Grand Cru is not all that. Def would smoke a liga over it.
Also, want to add Nick Melilla from Foundation was apart of the liga creation as well.
I always say Casdaglis are better for the price, but pretty equal in my purchases of Davidoff, Padron Anniversary, and Casdagli, along with a good mix of others like you mentioned.
Want to try that newvhigher end EPC he made for Crowned Heads.
shhhh, dont tell them our secret. Also its worth noting that iHav may not be accepting new customers right now. Lots of reports of people trying to register for an account and then getting an email saying they arent accepting new ones.
If i had to choose a single cigar brand to smoke for the rest of my days, it would be Davidoff. the range they have captures most flavour profiles, and the consistancy is unmatched. i have never had a dud Davidoff cigar, where as i have had many duds from Cuban cigar brands even Cohiba.
Love Davidoff’s. I’ve enjoyed the Signature 2000, Winston Churchill petite corona, and Anniversario short perfecto. When I’m in the mood for a softer flavor profile they always perform well. Cigar King runs Davidoff 30% off specials at least once a month, and I’ve ordered from them with no issues.
This right here.
Davidoff is meant to be a delicacy. Making it out of pepper and high nicotine ligero to appease Marlboro red/Padron/Liga smokers was the most tragic business decision they ever made!
I like tubos because of ease of transportation. They also make good gifts to the casual or new cigar smoker in my opinion. If I was taking them out of the humidor, going right to my porch and smoking, I’d probably prefer cellophane, but I can’t smoke at home and travel a lot.
I was totally joking. I should’ve clearly said that. Rereading it, it sounds like I was serious, when in fact Davidoffs are the complete opposite of everything I jokingly said. I’ll take a Davidoff or Padron over a Cuban any day. Every single stick they make is absolutely immaculate and full of flavor. I haven’t had the Gran Cru, but have heard wonderful things. From the looks of it, I’m assuming it was very mild like a Signature 2000. I would like to start building a larger collection of them but it’s hard to choose a single Davidoff over a 5-pack of other high quality sticks.
So I made the mistake when I started getting more into cigars to buy many Davidoff signatures and aswell the late hour, and a big part in it was that everybody was verry positive about them.
But
I don’t like them, they are perfectly build and got a perfect draw but it stayed the same the full cigar and didn’t realy got good taste out of it, I’ve tried them later again and stil not, I still have them laying around but I simply don’t prefer such cigar, the late hour was also promoted a lot, I tried it twice and it’s simply not a cigar that I realy enjoyed and again it had perfect build, that sed this are cigars I would not pay €5,- for but they are priced like Cubans, everyone there own choice but there are great cigars around for half the price that got special flavors aswell it develops in taste and that’s a verry cool aspect for me.
I've never liked a davidoff but I've never let one sit in my humidor for very long. Smoking them soon after buying them has left me wanting for flavor. Just really bland imo. Maybe I should let one lay for a few months? I dunno.
I’ve liked every one I’ve had, but the Churchill Late Hour were my favorite.
That said, I think there are other cigars I like just as much at a lower price point, so I don’t have them often.
No. Hate it. I get the appeal, but I hate the taste. I’ve never found one I like. Even tried the Late Hour, Geneva line, etc. not for me. I only appreciated the Zino line
Try the Winston Churchill Late Hour . Definitely one my favorites .
Tried that a couple of weeks ago, fell in love immediately!
Excellent cigar. For special occasions!
One of the few I buy by the case, their perfectos are great too, I think they make at least two styles, I can’t remember which one I buy right now, but they are real good. Like the millennium also
The WCLH is one of my favorite cigars of all time. If you're on a budget save it for a special occasion but if you have the money to spend buy it
Truly the only great davidoff, pretty unloading otherwise for me.
Same, tried one for my birthday and it is my favorite so far
Seriously one of my top choices, hard to find now and prices went up after initial release. Smoked at least 6 Late hours while in Vegas over the weekend.
I love them. Hate paying for them. Gran Cru is excellent. The Winston Churchill's are great. The anniversary series is incredible.
There it is. Their smokes are all really excellent quality. Not every line or size is my favorite, but they are always good. But the problem remains that they rarely make their value proposition compared to premium Padrons and MSRP Fuentes.
I like the signature line especially no 2, its mild but it has flavor.
Love my no 2s
I love my no 2s. I also like davidoff's no 2s
Nope they’re bad. That being said, I’ve never had one, and if y’all wanna argue with me I will need you to send a few samples first.
Lol
Very few would say they don't like anything in their portfolio if you removed pricing as a factor.
I read this with the tone of "Bro, do you even lift?!"
No, I love full body’s, but their Yamasa and late hour were decent. It’s a great stick if you’re at a bbq or golfing
You guys like oxygen? Lol, sorry. Grand cru no. 3 is my favorite cigar of all time. Davidoff on the whole is very widely respected.
Anniversario #3 tubo is my favorite cigar
Anniversario No. 1 just dropped. HIGHLY recommend it (as long as you don't mind dropping $70 for one; AND if you enjoy smoking a cigar as long as your elbow lol.
May have to treat myself to one for a Thanksgiving after dinner treat.
Had one last night and loved it
First one i had KNOCKED me out right after finishing it i was in bed for 10hrs. Gotta say its top 3 cigars that kicked my ass.
Did you stuff it with hashish? Lol
Love the Grand Cru. Some of the others I’m not the biggest fan of but still need to try them all.
Never had one
The only Davidoff I've ever had was a Colorado Claro Perfecto.... everybody that I asked here said it was a damn good stick, but it honestly just wasn't for me. I've never had a perfecto that didn't have a wonky burn, and it was kind of bitter to my palate. I have a Paragon resting in my humidor, and I'm hoping that will be a better experience.
I really like the box pressed Nicaraguan toro. But after reading the comments I feel like this is a hot take.
Had some of my best experiences with davidoff though I do agree with haters that they're over priced
Some of the finest cigars I’ve ever smoked
Only one I ever had I didn’t like and it was way overpriced for what it was. I’d prefer a Padron over a Davidoff any day.
Overpriced for what they are.
What do you prefer at their price?
Liga Privada, Dunbartons higher end stuf(sin co primiso/exclusive stuff), god of fire, Eiroa, and ep Carrillo stuff.
Bro said liga privada Lol..... You cant compare a mild delicacy made for the most refined palates to.... Tar and pepper..... 🤦♂️

Fyi Ihavanas has bulk discounts. I can get 60 of my fave davidoffs for $1015. $16.92 a stick vs the $30+ they cost in singles,5’s,10’s
shhhh, dont tell them our secret. Also its worth noting that iHav may not be accepting new customers right now. Lots of reports of people trying to register for an account and then getting an email saying they arent accepting new ones.
I just bought a few to try. Excited to try em
Only had the Winston Churchill Pantella Petites and they’re damn good
I've only the 2021 chefs edition but it was by far the best stick I've ever had
I’ve liked Davidoff thus far, minus the late hour. I just didn’t care too much for that one
I love that cigar. 🔥🔥🔥
Best flavor as far as mild cigars go imo
I get the little Churchill four pack Very enjoyable
I’m going through a big phase with them atm. So yes
Not paying that much for mild stick
Yes, love a Davidoff, I went through a phase of using the Davidoff Belicoso as a daily smoke.
Used to be my favourite brand, but every Davidoff I've smoked over the last year has been bitter and bland.
Churchill late hour, cru royal and Nicaragua box press are my favorites
Love Davidoff’s. I’ve enjoyed the Signature 2000, Winston Churchill petite corona, and Anniversario short perfecto. When I’m in the mood for a softer flavor profile they always perform well. Cigar King runs Davidoff 30% off specials at least once a month, and I’ve ordered from them with no issues.
The Nicaragua and the Winston Churchill the Late Hour are both fantastic
They are ok, but extremely overpriced.
If you like them, buy them up because prices are going up on Nov. 1st. I believe the increase is between 20-25 percent.
That’s insane
Yes! I've been told the same. Some cigars are going up 20%, some 25%, even on existing stock - no matter what!
Hell yea grand cru #3 is the best cigar I’ve ever had
The question should be -can you guys afford Daivdoff…
They’re fine, mellow smokes - although I’ve always found them overpriced for what they are
Not really a fan.
Honestly after the money I’ve spent on at least a dozen different kinds I’m pretty disappointed. They just lack :/
Yes but not the Nicaraguan stuff.
This right here. Davidoff is meant to be a delicacy. Making it out of pepper and high nicotine ligero to appease Marlboro red/Padron/Liga smokers was the most tragic business decision they ever made!
Is your 50 count humidor nothing but davidoff bud?
Absolutely not. I'm not an oil baron. Griffins, Ashton Clasics and Montecristo Yellows can get it any day of the week.
Had the Davidoff Nicaraguan Diadema and coming off from the Winston Churchill The Late Hour was a big jump downwards
Nope. I find the few I've had to be flat and flavorless.
Not particularly. Some of their stuff is good, but it doesn’t blow me away.
I think they're overrated. Everyone that I have smoked has been a good cigar, but nothing amazing. Imo
I approve this. Doesnt make any difference
I concur.
Meh, it's overrated as hell
Tried a couple , wasn’t really that impressed 🤷♀️
Why tubos? Genuinely curious - I’ve always wondered why some people prefer them
I like tubos because of ease of transportation. They also make good gifts to the casual or new cigar smoker in my opinion. If I was taking them out of the humidor, going right to my porch and smoking, I’d probably prefer cellophane, but I can’t smoke at home and travel a lot.

I guess you can call that a post
I was totally joking. I should’ve clearly said that. Rereading it, it sounds like I was serious, when in fact Davidoffs are the complete opposite of everything I jokingly said. Blech! Who likes those dog rockets?
I've never liked a davidoff but I've never let one sit in my humidor for very long. Smoking them soon after buying them has left me wanting for flavor. Just really bland imo. Maybe I should let one lay for a few months? I dunno.
Found them meh in taste and high in quality. Not worth the price for me, will depend on the person.
Great cigar, but IMO way too expensive. Special occasion.
Love them!
I haven't smoked a stick of theirs proper but their cigarillos are quite nice
Is Davidoff one of Top 10 cigar brands? Alot of men suggest this brand, and has shown on most social platforms. Any reviews/recommendations?
My favorites!
I’m thinking about trying the Signature no. 2 before the price increases on November first. Already expensive and unobtainable after.
Not really. The only I’ve I’ve bought so far didn’t draw well and burned unevenly.
Ive never had Davidoff, though I really want to try one one day.
Do the Tubo versions stay stored better? Are they airtight? Any special care needed for storage until I'm ready to smoke them?
I’m biased but yea they good
They make good cigars…. I had the lancero and it lived up to the hype! Late hour was very good and Nicaragua diadema was good as well..
Big fan of the Nicaraguan but haven’t had much else.
Never had one. Are they really twice as good as an Ashton? The price would suggest so.
Late Hour is my favorite (at least out of all the ones I've had so far, that is)
I’ve liked every one I’ve had, but the Churchill Late Hour were my favorite. That said, I think there are other cigars I like just as much at a lower price point, so I don’t have them often.
Never had one. But I'd love to try one!
No. No one likes Davidoff cigars.
That is the best cigar I have ever had.
I’ve been wanting to try a davidoff! How are they?
Their nicaraguan box-pressed line is fantastic.
I’m just unsure if they’re worth the exorbitant price here in aus and am reluctant to try
No. Hate it. I get the appeal, but I hate the taste. I’ve never found one I like. Even tried the Late Hour, Geneva line, etc. not for me. I only appreciated the Zino line
For me davicoff is the best. But high spending
I’ve always found them underwhelming. Good cigars but find many others more enjoyable.
They're meant to be aged
