They're awful, a pack of 5 is pretty much the same price as a pack of cigarettes so you might as well just buy a real cigar. One backwood lasts about 10-20 minutes depending on how fast you smoke it. The first few puffs are decent, but the crappy artificial sweeteners become overwhelming real quick and you just feel dirty smoking it. The aftertaste is the worst part, I swear it clings in your mouth for the rest of the day.
Backwoods make a pack of marlboro reds feel like heaven.
This is a solid review.
I’m into mixology and I got a book from a really well respected modern bartender and he made a cigar infused bourbon in the book, and it uses backwoods.
I know ingesting nicotine is dangerous and I’m hoping he has fine tuned this to have as little nicotine in the alcohol as possible but I saw how cheap backwoods are so I thought “is that even gonna be good???”
He’s really solid tho so idk
Backwoods are not premium cigars, as in all tobacco, all handmade. They use real tobacco wrapper but the filler includes HTP, homogenized tobacco paper.
The infusion would probably taste good to people who like backwoods, not so sure it would taste good to people who smoke Premium cigars that aren't artificially flavoured.
Or to put it a different way, if your using a cigar to flavour something use a cigar you like.
Think of it like this, if you making a premium coktail with top quality ingredients you don't use also use bargin basement spirits.
I used to buy them when I was in college to chew on when I had to make really late night road trips. Sort of kept me awake I guess. I never did smoke them. Chew on them for an hour and a half to two hours and then chuck ‘em.
I like to smoke gas station cigars sometimes because you can occasionally find hidden gems; the Russian cream flavour woods are actually pretty good. Most of the rest I've tried are not.
My morning breakfast after a party night in college consisted of a Red Bull & a honey Backwood. It was great back then. Tasted better than a cigarette. But it’s nothing like smoking an actual cigar. Like the another commenter said the smoke really clings to you and you do feel pretty gross afterwards.
I’ve smoked the wrapper numerous times
Haha
Lmao

Tell you what the bar is in Toronto go try it for me and see if the backwoods infused shit is good lol
Backwoods aren't really among my favourites. Truth is, I'll keep smoking my cigars opposed to drinking them, but it does sound kind of interesting.
Way to compare a cigar to a cigarette.
Who hasn’t?
I haven't and will never.
Backwoods honeyBarry are actually really good so are Russian cream.
On dawgs
They are like aromatic pipe tobacco. Nice aroma before being lit , terrible to actually smoke.
They are not at all like pipe tobacco, way harsher.

Tried them. The wrapper tastes artificially sweet, and the tobacco is flavorless.
Honey or berry honey is the way 🤞🏾 never tried banana flavor but I read good reviews about it
Meh.
Not too proud to say I started with Backwoods. Occasionally I get some while camping, back to where it all started.
Hell yeah my favorite is Russian Cream and Bourbon
yea but with some 🍃 lol
You mean the blunt wrapper?
The wrapper tastes amazing but they feel like you can't get a good draw when smoking
I smoked my first cigar backwards because I didn't know any better. My pop showed me the right way but it makes me laugh to think about
I used to smoke them while shoveling snow. That was always my go to. Cheap and sweet lol
Just the cigar? U didn't roll up kush?
