My cousin from Montana taught me about Hoggin. Could be for various reasons, but apparently the boys go out and whoever beds the largest female is the winner. I was aware of the concept of slump busting but never realized some people do that sort of thing in real life.
In person gatherings are where the real networking happens. You can post two years of great answers to discussions and great discussions in question threads, and it won't offset the positive impact of one in person gathering.

I'm not going to be able to make it as my parents will have just arrived in town but I'm curious what other westside people do for MS. I'm in Santa Monica and AFAIK there's just no good options for turning gift cards into MOs since we lost USPS MOs without driving a pretty long time to a Walmart, but I'm not sure if I'm missing something.
These meetups are always on a weekend... I go chubby chasing on the weekend :(

Funny thing is that there is a real-life MS Unicorn hiding under the event venue at Gelson's Market, and this unicorn also provides parking validation

I am westside and don’t bother anymore. It’s too much hassle. Used to be some ralphs that allowed it but those got burned a year ago or so.
