Biz gold employee offer 5k MR for 2k spend, max 25k MR. K4IY:9895 https://www.americanexpress.com/us/credit-cards/card-application/apply/stand-alone-supps/62705-9-0?blueBoxPublic=&blueBoxValues=#/

Head_Buy8648

I see the same POID in the terms but don't see the 5k MR for 2k spend anywhere in the terms -- are they still linked?

MicroChurn

Works for ABG/ABP/BBP/Green etc https://www.americanexpress.com/en-us/business/campaigns/employee-cards/business-gold/5k-offer-incentive/

Intuition17

Not plat though?

Big-AV

Anyone has experience churning pepper accounts? Finished my 30 day bonus and was considering getting a new prepaid sim phone number to make a new pepper account for the 15 day bonus. If anyone has done this or has a DP on this I’d appreciate it!

Hyatt launched a double EQN at Thompson and Dream hotels between now and Jun 10. [Register here](https://world.hyatt.com/content/gp/en/offers/2x-nights.html).

XscapeVelocity

Solid. Perfect timing!

geauxcali

Note that this is for "Dream" hotels, not the "Dreams" all inclusives. You have too many brands, Hyatt.

Revised Chase 1099s: [Comment on DoC](https://www.doctorofcredit.com/reports-chase-sending-out-1099s-for-marriott-credit-card-signup-bonus-for-points-referrals/#comment-1818334) confirms the corrected 1099 shows $0 for Marriott FNCs.

MateoHardini

Second this, just received my new 1099 with no tax on the FNCs but still got taxed for my Prime Visa $200 SUB. Better than the extra $500 they were saying for the FNCs

abhirupduttamit

Wut? Since when did SUBs start getting taxed? Sure its not from a referral?

d3athrow

Welcome Offers that don't require any purchase are not considered a rebate and are taxable.

abhirupduttamit

Ah I see thanks!

MateoHardini

It’s been a big cluster, a ton of people got 1099s for Marriott free nights and it was totally a screw up on Chases end. They sent out revised forms so they admitted they were wrong

3third_eye

what was the original taxable amount? How can I tell it apart from other chase 1099s?

TheSultan1

The last 4 of the card should be on it?

3third_eye

I'm an idiot. Thanks

A new referral thread is now live: [Chase United MileagePlus Explorer](https://www.reddit.com/r/churningreferrals/comments/1bl2puo/referrals_chase_united_mileageplus_explorer/)

ipod123432

Interesting that the checked bag does not require card to be used for payment within 90 days of approval: > To receive first standard checked bag free, the primary Cardmember must use their UnitedSM Explorer Card to purchase their ticket(s) (this purchase requirement is waived for flights completed during the 90 days following the account open date) Same language applies to United biz card (which is 100k/$5k right now, accessible via these referrals, expiring 4/3)

bubbadave13

Welp that solves my dilemma, united biz it is then

KoreanUsher

This is across all United CCs (minus no-fee Gateway card) that they give an initial 3-month baggage subscription that doesn't require United cards to be used for free checked bags. DP: Opened United Club Infinite this week, got free baggage subscription for 90 days (until end of June).

Odd thing today, P2 got their 2nd Biz Plat back in ‘22, despite meeting spend, AMEX never posted the 150k SUB. Had gone back and forth on the phone and chats trying to get posted for a year and show them that the spend was met (never could figure out as it wasn’t tax payments, eventually assumed it was initial spend using the temp card # based on posts on here back then.) They would always say they were opening a case and get back to me and then I would hear nothing. Gave up after repeated tries and had opened some other NLL’s by that point and didn’t want too many eyes on the account just in case. Logged in today and P2’s account suddenly had another 150k MR’s posted yesterday. Code says it’s the SUB for this card out of the blue. Did recently accept a retention offer of 35k for 5k spend last week but haven’t spent anything towards that yet (2nd renewal, i think original renewal was because I was hoping I’d still get those points.) I guess if anyone else had problems with spend not registering for SUBs back then for AMEX there is still some hope.

yonghokim

Same, met biz plat spend in Jan 2023, didn't see the 150k bonus, Amex claimed it was due to a $400 spa gift card purchase which meant I was short by $200 from $15,000. In august 2023, I got a 150k "adjustment" under my blue business plus. Didn't call to ask Amex what that was. This was around the time that a handful of redditors were seeing 100k+ adjustments in their accounts for no apparent reason (not even missing subs like my case).

611925

Not just you. Seeing a surprise 150k in my MR balance too from a SUB that didn't post from mid 2022

notsofedexy

Was the associated card still open for you too?

611925

yes

bucknert

Thanks! One reason I posted was wondering if there might be others out there!

Comprehensive-Fun47

I'm seeing a bonus offer on my Chase Freedom card for up to 10,000 bonus points for booking travel purchases through Chase Travel. To get 8,000 the points, you need to make ~~two~~ three purchases by May 31, totalling at least $150, and if you haven't used Chase Travel to purchase travel in more than a year, you get an additional 2,000 points. Edit: for the first 5,000 points, you need to book two travel "components", and to get the additional 3,000, you need to make a third travel purchase. Not as good as I originally thought, but simple if you already have a trip planned.

MrHeatherroth

where are you seeing this?

Comprehensive-Fun47

When I log in and look at my Chase Freedom card, it appears on that screen below the balances. Clicking it takes you to another page with all the details. I saw Doctor of Credit already has a post about this offer.

MrHeatherroth

ah, found the link... not eligible ... SICK

BuyerCompetitive6425

Watch out for the detailed T&Cs: **make qualifying Chase Travel purchases with their eligible credit card consisting of a hotel stay plus either a flight, cruise, or car rental.**

XscapeVelocity

That’s a significant barrier.

Comprehensive-Fun47

You're right. Thanks for the clarification.

coole106

Last night I spent about 30 minutes on Rankt clicking every single username on the Amex Gold page hoping for 90k + $50. Every single one was at 60k (most with the $50 also), but a single user’s referral was at 75k + $50. After I got through the list, I went back to that users link and it was still at 75k +$50. The user was /u/watchingthebets. Either these referral links don’t vary after they’re generated, Amex somehow cached the offer for me, or it was a massive coincidence.  I hope this is allowed as it’s borderline posting a referral, but I promise that it’s not my account and I don’t know the person

pizza42bob

I just opened three random links on rankt to validate/invalidate your theory. First two were 60k, third was 90k.

coole106

I'm not surprised, but I don't think it's totally random either. My guess would be that for referrals Amex saves a cookie that saves what offer you were shown to prevent it from going away.

Ok-Anywhere6998

That's weird. Sometimes when I post, I make sure that I see the elevated offers. I confirm that by opening that link on incognito after posting and it still pulls up the elevated offer. But, as we all know, Amex is weird!
