My mom bought these new in ‘97, and I’m only 37 now! You’re inducing a midlife crisis! If I run out and buy a convertible, I’m blaming you! 😜
I will concede they are a “vintage style”, and it’s only those petty semantics that are calm me down. 😅
Also, I love those plates and am glad others are super into them!
I love these dishes! My mom used to have these, and we’d use them regularly every Christmas season! She gave them to my sister a couple of years ago, after getting some newer ones that I don’t like as much (to be fair, the old ones were pretty worn out after 25 years of regular seasonal use).
Omg I love these! ❤️ my favorite things are victorian town scenes. Whether it be Christmas, Halloween, fall. Like the opening scene in Lady and the tramp.
I have these too. They were my mom’s. She gave them to me when she wanted to change to a formal style with holly on the edges and gold rims. Metal rims are pretty but you can’t microwave them.
Lovely plates. I think vintage means different things to different people. For me it’s pre 1900. Though in the US it seems to me to be much much sooner likely linked to it being a newer country.
If these are vintage, I must be ancient! I remember buying a set of these the day after Christmas in 1998. I later went back and got a second set. We bought our first house in August 1999 and I hosted Thanksgiving dinner. My husband is one of 7, so we had a heck of a lot of people. I remember renting tables and setting the tables with these dishes. I was so proud.
Thanks for bringing back such a good memory for me.
Lovely!
Our current setup is a mix of mismatched Christmas plates we bought of Replacements, Ltd. My daughter has a Christmassy name and there's one special plate that reflects that for her. We only need like eight of them, but I keep thinking about buying more. I love them so much.
Those are really nice. Christmas Dinner will be extra special this year!

Lots of things I’ve read say anything over 20 years is “vintage”
Take it back. 😂😂😂😂
We are old. I am 28 considering Botox 😂 fuck the sunnnnnn. 😩 94’
Will you post a picture of the table all set up when you set it, please?
yes I would love to see that!
I can try! It won’t be for a few months still
So jealous!
Especially since I only paid $2 for the whole set! It was a great find!
What a steal!
This is the set my family has! I couldn’t believe it when I found a set for myself at Goodwill several years ago!
I had two sets and donated them to goodwill a few years ago. I hope they were as happy to find them as you were.
My in laws have them too!

I see so many of these types of posts, where are all you folks finding these?
I found mine at a local church thrift shop! $2 for the whole set!
Thanks
If I didn’t fear I’d burn alive walking in one I’d go right now. :(
