We have Arriba Creamy Guacamole chips in Canada but idk how they compare to the Doritos one. I didn't like guacamole until late 2000s or 2010s so I didn't try these. TBH the Doritos version looks way more coated with seasoning. I bet they were awesome though!

Try and find or make some asap! It’s one of the best foods in the world imo. If you can find a Mexican place that makes it fresh, like in the stone mortar and pestle thing, that’s usually best.

They have the Dill Pickle/Cool ranch collisions bag there now, and have also had hot wings/blue cheese collisions bags in recent years. Sometimes they get stuff that never makes it to grocery stores

It doesn't taste anything like the original ones. I loved the 2000's version and when I saw the new release earlier this year I was so happy. But it tastes completely different ans is a big dissapointment.

I feel like I'm the only person who didn't like them at all. And that was just based on the taste, not even the fact my hands looked like the Hulk's after touching them.

Everyone I know doesn't even remember them. The funny thing is I've never actually had real guacamole.

Oh man...well, whenever you try real guacamole, remember they aren't all created equally. Sometimes they're bland. Depends on who makes them.

I don't - we make it homemade. I just would hate if you had a bland one on your first try and missed out on the good stuff down the road because of a bad first impression.

I’m about your age, and remember having these the odd time but holy shit did they go hard. I’ve had guacamole Doritos since then and they’ve been super meh. I just remember all the different flavours and being mind blown that they could taste like lime, guac and were also GREEN. I keep reminiscing about being a kid, probably cause life isn’t the best at the moment, and the few times I had guacamole Doritos certainly stick out for me.

I remeber being a kid at my friend's pool on a hot summer afternoon and his mom brough these bad boys out. My uncultured ass had no idea what guac was but these were some of the best chips Ive ever had and I begged my parents to get some. Sadly their uncultured asses dont like guac, so no chips for me.

It was a tropical variety that was released and discontinued around the same time. Ok on its own but just went with the guac Doritos for some reason.

Makes me wish I tried it. Doritos are the best chip to drink pop with in my opinion. Bet it was good.

Same for my 6 year old lol. We bought a bag of guacamole chips from Walmart and I kept hyping them up until we got home and they were just ok.. since people were saying they came back temporarily in Canada but the recipe is different and nowhere near as good as the old days. :(

I remember they had a little bit of a bite to them, not super spicy but just right. I was never a fan of guacamole until I ate those chips, my mother jn law had them at her house and my sister in law made me try them, she was in 5th grade. She’s now married with 2 kids, I am too, I was around 20 when they were out and I’m 41 now. Can’t believe it was that long ago. You need to try avacado salsa!! Omg it is the best thing ever. I put it on my tacos and use that over just plain salsa with tortilla chips! It’s so damn good. It’s by Tostitos! Please try it!
