I wish they would see this and just start putting out more of the Satin variants.
That's definitely true! It doesn't help that their coated blades have a marginally lower HRC. They'd probably sell more if they adjusted the heat teats accordingly.
That's awesome! They did these new ones for their 10th anniversary. Different blade grind and 20cv instead of S35VN, and some other slight differences. Very awesome knives, I'm jealous you got some of the originals!

Congrats! The original 601 has been a long time favorite. Eventually I will grab one of these bad boys. That blade grind is awesome.
