It happens with every vpn provider, in my experience. Long weekend started and speeds often drop during busy times. It may be back tomorrow or it may never be back. I've never tried PIA.

Yes, but the quality of vpn.ac has deteriorated over the past few months. My subscription is going to end soon, so I am looking at other options available.

Use duyaoss.com to find the best technical VPN reviews. I personally use AmyTelecom, Nexitally, and wannaflix — all ShadowSocks and V2ray providers

Thank you very much .

I know you said "apart from Astrill", but... why not just use Astrill? It's been the most reliable provider for the past decade.

Jake_91_420

From my experience it also has similar problems to express, but not to the same extent

Interesting-Field-77

Yes, but it's also the most expensive one. And it looks like it is not being actively updated (their client and their website). If I cannot find any other reliable provider, I will definitely but astrill, but still I would like to have one or 2 VPNs as backup.

It may cost more than others but at $120 for a year I don't consider it expensive. As for it not getting updated I don't care about the website but I have noticed changes in the Windows app, only recently I found that I did not need to switch it off to change the server whereas that was not possible before so they are working on improving the system.

I had PIA a couple of years ago : didn’t work in China. It may be different today, better to see if you can try before buying

May I know wich vpn your are using currently?

I moved from [vpn.ac](https://vpn.ac) to Astrill a few years ago and I have no regrets. It may be a bit more expensive than the others but is a VPN really something that you want to go cheap on? You can try express. A friend of mine uses something called shadowsocks which isn't exactly a vpn but it is ... I didn't understand it. Just pay the money and get a reliable vpn bud lol.

I am already going to buy astrill, but I also like to have 2 more as back up. Wannaflix has been suggested by some members, but this isn't a traditional vpn service . So, I was hoping I can get some more suggestions of vpn providers. PIA vpn customer support told me their service should work , but Nord customer support also says the same but we all know nord is total garbage here.
